Hotellit aamiaisella kohteessa Lanzhou

The Hyatt is the best Hotel in LanZhou. Not only because of zero distance to the yellow river, but guest services.  Because the guest room was not available, and we needed to visit provincial museums first, I’ve got guidance for luggage storage, provided local cuisine, tourist places, and reserved us a higher floor Guest room. Then we enjoyed our provincial museum, delicious local food, then we enjoyed the gorgeous view of lunch and the yellow river from the guestroom. I would definitely choose Hyatt again. And I appreciate Rita who provided very warm professional help for us! By the way, the breakfasts are very enjoyable with local special offers.

This is a very nice hotel right on a pedestrian street lined with food stalls and restaurants. At night mobile food carts get rolled in and positioned along the center of the street adding yet more food choices! In addition to this, just a short walk away is a huge pedestrian shopping street along with an underground shopping complex accessed through street level escallators. Although the hotel is on a pedestrian street it is really just about 3/4 block from a street with vehicle access. This hotel is a bit difficult to find though, because individual street address numbers are difficult to find. The best thing is to look for a huge Hanting Hotel logo on the right side of the pedestrian street as you head up from the traffic street along the river. The sign is blue with a white horse! The entrance to the hotel itself looks more as if you are entering a coffee shop because of the street entrance signage. But power past all the tables for people having coffee, and you can find the hotel front desk at the back. As mentioned before, the hotel is quite close to the Yellow River and just a short walk to the ”Iron Bridge” (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) and all that neighborhood offers! One drawback to the hotel is that to get into the entrance there are some narrow steps. Level entrances are always best! Yet, I would definitely stay in this hotel again! (And when you are in Lanzhou, be sure to try Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)

Great hotel. Close to the airport and near a park area. Good to relax. The hotel is very new, the rooms and the service are great, Nana did a great job. The breakfast is very relaxing, nice atmosphere, local and international dishes. The gym and the pool are great. I can warmly recommend

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. I want to thank the whole team for their kindness. They even have a little store for Cigars in the lobby, I was very impressed.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hilton Lanzhou City Centre. Many thanks to front office staff, Debbie who attended to us warmly and responsively. The hotel's location was good and the check-in was very fast. Our high-floor room was clean and comfortable, the best is, choice of pillows is granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise view of the city from our window. A point to note, the room window can only be unlocked by staff for cooler air flow as the central heating system is in operation for the current winter season. We also loved the fragrant of the toiletries. Buffet breakfast spread was tasty and varied. We spent a relaxing time enjoying our breakfast slowly.

I would recommend staying here during your visit to Lanzhou as the location is strategic, the Zhengning Night Market is only a 5 minute walk way, the Shopping district is about 1km or a 15 minute walk away, the Zhongshan bridge is only a 5-10 minute Didi ride away. The service was great, the staff at the reception was responsive and helpful, does not disappoint me at all. The rooms were comfortable and my family had a pleasant stay. One highlight about this hotel is that it serves 3 meals daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you can enjoy delicious food throughout the day and all buffet-style. It's my first time residing in a hotel that is this generous with food. This means you don't have to even travel our of the hotel to eat, though I should point out that for lunch and dinner service operates for only 1.5 hours and dinner lasted until 7pm. Lanzhou is a food haven in Northwest China, rest assured you won't get the chance to confine all your meals within a hotel.

這次凌晨2點抵達蘭州，選擇了這家由公寓改造的酒店，整體體驗超出預期。深夜到店時，前台工作人員依然熱情高效，全程笑臉相迎，快速為我辦理了入住，絲毫沒有不耐煩，在疲憊的旅途裏讓人倍感温暖。 酒店位置很便利，離蘭州西站非常近，對趕火車或高鐵的旅客來説十分友好，出行效率很高。房間整潔舒適，衞浴乾濕分離，洗漱區明亮乾淨，床品柔軟，隔音效果也不錯，能安穩睡個好覺。前台設在一樓，餐廳在八樓；地下停車場需要提前和酒店人員報備，停車也比較方便。 不過這棟樓裏有多家酒店，都是公寓改造而成，找店時需要仔細辨認標識，避免走錯；另外酒店周邊比較荒涼，買東西比較費勁。 總體來説，這家酒店勝在服務貼心、交通便捷、房間舒適，非常適合趕車或深夜到店的旅客，是性價比很高的選擇。

Nice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

The Goods: The hotel is about 10min walk from high speed railway station. The room is huge, and facilities looks new. The Bads: The gentleman who was manning the reception counter needs more training/ re-training. We called to request for a 3rd bath towel since there are 3 of us but the receptionist sent us a bath mat instead. We complained the phone in the room was not working (no dialing tone) and the receptionist simply brush it off as we were not operating the phone correctly instead of sending someone to check the phone! The lifts are very slow during breakfast hour.

Location of hotel is about 15mins car ride to the downtown area. I would recommend staying in the downtown area if you have more time in lanzhou and/or prefer to be closer to the more touristy sights in lanzhou. Sound proofing is bad as we can hear snoring from next door on 2 separate nights. Complimentary pick up/drop off at train station is a nice touch.
