"Excellent one-week stay at Le Poisson Rouge. Very nice place in a magnificent setting and very well maintained. Beautiful, well-equipped swimming pool (lounge lounges). Room with perfect terrace. The breakfast is perfect: complete, very good products and homemade cakes. The team is very welcoming, warm and professional. Very nice discovery and we will return with great pleasure."

Hôtel E Tre Stelle

"The hotel is a little way out from Bonifacio but you can walk we walked it in both direction’s . We also realised we needed a car to explore the many fabulous beaches of Corsica . Advice would be to pick up a car at Europcar in the marina and then go explore. The hotel is calm , serene and relaxing. The staff are super helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The express breakfast was simple and lovely. The room was modern and comfortable. The pool was great and we left feeling very relaxed. We would come back next time we are in town. Merci"

"Olemme oleskelleet Les Suites du Maquis ja se oli todellinen parenthese ilman aikaa. Tämä paikka on kaunis, hyvin intiimi, ei ole odotettavissa, että löydämme tällainen pieni paratiisi täällä. Palvelu on syytön: huolellinen, huolellinen ja aina hymyillyt. Huonepalvelu oli kuninkaallinen, huomaamaton puhdistuspalvelu, jacuzzi on seuraavaksi todellinen enemmän ja yhteinen uima-allas on myös upea. Erityinen maininta aamiaista: erittäin laadukkaita paikallisia tuotteita, täydelliset määrät... todellinen lahja! Ainoa pieni bemol liittyy kylpyhuone: suihkun jälkeen maa on täysin märkä, mikä tekee peiliin tai WC-palveluun vähemmän kätevä paljaita jalkoja. Tämä oli täydellinen osoite, jota suosittellaan epäröimättä. Kiitos, herra."

Hôtel Cala di Greco

"A luxurious boutique property with fantastic facilities and a million dollar view of scenic Bonifacio France. This is Easily a 5-star property with spacious villa suites, a great pool and bar area and modern conveniences, yet why only 3-stars you ask? Being a seasonal property (they close at the end of October) means they have a young, inexperienced staff which is readily apparent from the first moment you arrive. They just aren’t skilled in dealing with they type of people who are paying 500€ per night for a hotel room. Secondly the food and beverage service is sub-par. While there was a breakfast buffet included in our rate the food options while varied were institutional and hum drum; far below expectations for a luxurious French resort. Also the food available at the bar was disappointing. We ordered a charcuterie platter and also a bruschetta board to accompany some wine instead of taking another 25€ taxi trip (each way) into town for dinner. The meat looked like leftovers from breakfast with an off color. The bruschetta was essentially toast with some cherry tomatoes and herbs. It was dry and flavorless-such a missed opportunity both to enhance revenue and to reinforce the luxury brand they want to cultivate. Bottom line-if you have a car and don’t mind dealing with the extreme parking challenges in Bonifacio , the food issues might not matter. In which case the property itself is a beautiful oasis of calm and peace. Tips based on our experiences: But don’t ask them to do laundry as you won’t necessarily get it back the same day as the only person able to do it leaves at 3. Also don’t arrive before 4 as your room likely won’t be ready despite the emails they send asking for your arrival time, and there’s really no place to hang out unless it’s nice enough to get in the pool. Sorry Cala di Greco, you have so much unrealized potential…."

A shame to leave this management and its team in place which does not even respect the French identity of the country which welcomes it!"
