"I enjoyed a solo retreat and look forward to returning. Moving from my balcony, to the spa, to the beach, and then to the lovely restaurant was a dream come true. I had my books, magazines and podcasts for entertainment when I wasn't gazing out over the ocean. Time stood still which was the gift I was seeking. I'm telling all my friends looking for a solo or couples get-away to put this at the top of their list."

"Bonifacio is expensive, especially the hotels. This one is one of the cheaper ones but still expensive for why you get, therefore 3,5 star review in my opinion. We didn’t make use of the breakfast because there is a bakery and super market next door and that was way cheaper. Hotel had private parking both indoor and outdoor which was great because parking in Bonifacio is expensive. Hotel is located on a couple of minute walk from the marina. Room was okay, bed was fine and shower had sufficient power but no possibility to hang up the shower head… WiFi was not great. Balcony was large with view on the hills and the road. Room window had blinds to lower the noise of the street. Room door wasn’t soundproof, quite some noise from the corridor. All in all we had a fine stay for a couple of days."

"I stayed at A Cheda for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The hotel is located 5 minutes by car from Bonifacio and makes for an ideal location to explore the southern portion of Corsica. Parking was easy, free and ample. All rooms are surrounded by gardens which in addition to being beautiful, supply the hotel's restaurant with fresh produce. Every meal we ate at the restaurant was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the mystery menu comprised of dishes selected by the chef, all highlighting local ingredients. The staff was friendly as well, helping with small, random requests I had without hesitation. If I had to nitpick, I would say the wifi could be improved (although I personally welcomed the opportunity to disconnect) and that the Japanese style shower in my room (no walls) would probably be more practical if it simply had walls or a barrier to prevent the bathroom floor from getting wet. It didn't bother me much, just a curious choice. Those small things aside, A Cheda is a gorgeous place that offers great value. I hope to return someday!"

I strongly recommend this resort, everything was perfect and above expectation: the place, the atmosphere, the cure for details, the service, the cleaning, the forniture, the bed, the style, the breakfast, the pool restaurant, the pools, etc. Really, everything! I also highly appreciated the service provided by the reception which recommended, before our arrival and according to our preferences, which activities, beaches and restaurants could be best for us.
