"This was only a nights stay before go to our other hotel to which i am glad because if I would have had 10 days here I would have cried and gone home. No staff to help, the stairs ways were mucky and the pool was nice and the ladders were not fixed properly and I sliced my foot on them and staff wasn't bothered never asked if ok or came to see me at the pool. Food was awful apart from the ice cream, I had reservations eating the food lack of hygiene was a big no no. The smell round the pool was dreadful which was the drainage and all the steps up from the pool were broken. One positive is bed was comfy. I would not recommend this hotel at all I can't wait to leave."

Odotimme 14-vuotispäiväämme, kun palasimme huoneeseemme tuona päivänä, meillä oli pullo ja kaunis muistio, joka toivotti meille onnellista vuosipäivää. Kiitos todella paljon. Olemme oleskeleneet täällä useita kertoja ja rakastamme tätä hotellia sijainti on täydellinen lyhyen kävelymatkan rannalla. Lähellä baareja, kauppoja ja iltaviihdettä. Pysyimme täynnä lautasella ne olivat suuria valintoja, aamiaisilla voitte olla pissattu munaa, omeletteja, hash brownies ja englanti bacon ja sausages. illallisella eri valintoja ja kaunis salaattibaari. Teessä suosikkini oli kana ja vasikka kebabs. Juomien ja teehen hinta oli kohtuuhintainen, lasi viiniä ja pullo San Miguel oli €4. Hotelli on hyvin puhdas, henkilöstö työskentelee todella kovasti, pitää hotelli puhdas ja etsii vieraita. Meillä oli todella hauskaa ja aiomme jo palata. Kiitos hämmästyttävän oleskelu."

Negatiiviset seikat: kielteiset tariffit. 13€60 smoothie ja kahden paikan pankkitilejä uima-altaiden ympärille ovat maksavia: 200€ päivä! "Haven’t stayed at the hotel but have visited the outdoor pool bar many times . They make the best Sangria in Benidorm, made properly from scratch in front it you not from a pump or ready made watery stuff . On this visit served by a lovely , friendly lady with blonde hair . Sangria made perfectly and were offfered nibbles. She remained very calm despite there being a very large , noisy crowd of young men in the pool bar drinking, swearing and singing . I was surprised that the management had not asked them to leave as they were disturbing the whole bar/pool area . The Cimbel is usually a haven of peace and relaxation . Felt very sorry for the lady as she was coping with it all on her own . Will return for sangria on our next visit at Christmas"

"Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, it was my first visit to Benidorm and it ticked the boxes of what I expected. The hotel is quite tall and check in was straightforward but did have to pay 100 euros for a deposit which has to be in cash so make sure to have the money on you, there is a small fee to pay for the safe but it was reasonable. The lifts do work but are small and can take some time to get to you so we used the stairs sometimes so not ideal if you are on the higher floors We stayed in room 301 and had a view of the pool and surrounding roads, the rooms higher up have beautiful views out towards the sea. The main positive is the balcony, it is massive and has a nice view. Easily able to hang wet clothing and towels to dry as the sun hits it aswell. There is a fridge in the apartment with a freezer so you can grab items from the local supermarket and have no worries of them going warm. We bought some bits and kept them in there ready to use. There is a pull out sofa bed in the living room which is a good size and also a small tv with limited channels but we did not use it. The corner rooms have a window to let air move through the apartment and it was nice and cool in the evenings. The bathroom itself was okay, but the shower set up for ours was a bathtub with the shower head and found it was extremely slippery to stand in. The beds were not very comfortable and I ended up sleeping on the sofa instead. My partner got some bites but unsure if that came from the bed or elsewhere. plenty of storage for your bags and clothes with hangers too. Overall it is a basic apartment with things you need. The aircon was non existent, I am not sure if ours was broken but it got quite stuffy inside the apartment during the small time we were inside, the amount of windows and doors saved it to some extent. We were given towels and the bin emptied once during our stay and the cleaners did not take anything or move anything so very trustworthy. The pool area is fairly small and the water has a funny green colour from the tiles, you will struggle to get a sunbed unless you do downstairs at 8/9am to reserve one. With there being groups of lads jumping and being silly around the pool I would suggest getting into it later in the day or early in the morning. We were able to get one later in the day around 5pm and use the pool which was fine. There is a bar for drinks and food and that was reasonably priced. There was loud party music playing all day around the pool also. As a rather introverted couple it was not the right hotel for us. If you like a quiet environment this is the polar opposite as it is designed for stag and hen groups and that was the main bulk of customers there when we visited. I got pretty much zero sleep during my stay due to guests and others coming back late into the next day being extremely loud. The doors did not close in our apartment so could not avoid the noise.
