"The only good thing about this hotel are the staff , they were remarkably great , very helpfull , specially terry , shadi and rakan the security guys , shadi and karim. A hotel with no free parking? A hotel with no hot water for bathing? A hotel that a guest asks frequently ( 5-6 times per day) for his door access to b reprogrammed because of the very old entring system to his room. A hotel that changes the price of the room from one month , sometimes week to another , not by 10-15% , but more than 30% increase on the room price? Sarcastically , we used to wonder if they will charge us on the breathe we take. Frequent change in staff is very weird . The hotel guests claimed for a winter shield in the sitting area outside , no response. All the hotel guests have the same remarks , and non of them is willing to come back in any other time after the end of the current situation we are living in. Excellent ,very welcoming and nice staff .. but unfortunatly it was a Terrible stay ."

"My money ($1,900) was stolen in my room (301) at Cavalier hotel Beirut on 18th July 2022 between the hrs of 10pm & 12.05 midnight. My colleague staying in room 305 and I left the hotel that faithful night around 10pm to eat and return to the hotel after 12 midnight, and the next morning at 7am when I was ready for the airport to catch my flight at 10.15am on Turkish airline I then realised the money I placed in my hand luggage was gone so I alerted the reception immediately and requested to see CCTV camera. It took them about 15 minutes to find the password to access the camara and unfortunately most part of the Video looks blank ( I watch the Video about 5 minutes) and because I was in the hurry to catch my flight I have to leave to avoid missing my flight so there was not much time to scrutinise the CCTV . Upon my arrival in my home country I contacted the Beirut police to lodge a formal complaint and hoping for the best outcome. I strongly recommend do not leave your valuables items including money at Cavalier hotel Beirut whiles you're away from your room. This sad situation is my first time money has been stolen from me at a hotel."
