"The hotel is beautiful. The food is excellent. We stayed in a VIP room and were quite disappointed as it was old and smelled strongly of damp. Neither the TV nor the jacuzzi worked; we reported it and they never fixed it. Another very important issue is the poor service for booking tables at the restaurants. They need to do something about it because the queues are endless. Perhaps using an app would be better."

"Staff very friendly but not that attentive. Food was OK from a buffet perspective but you needed to reserve places at non buffet restaurants. Which as I was only staying for  night wasn’t possible. The reset itself is tired. It needs a makeover. The rooms are comfortable but again old and in need of improvement. Communal areas are also tired. If you get a great deal it’s worth staying here but there are better options available, especially if you are looking for something special."

"Hotel in a large complex right in front of Bavaro beach. The facilities are good, although compared to other hotels I miss an infinity pool. What I liked least was the quality of the food, worse than expected, and the service a bit slow. For several days they did not refill the minibar."
