If you’re in Barcelona for shopping, you couldn’t ask for a more convenient spot. However, our room was a huge disappointment. We were given a windowless room, which felt claustrophobic and stuffy. The lighting inside was far too dim, making it hard to even read or pack properly. On top of that, the elevators are ridiculously small — they fit only 4 people at a time, so expect to wait during busy hours."

"I had a high expectation out of this hotel as it is so well located. The overall experience was OK, the staffs were very friendly and helpful. I must state two minor flaws that I hope the hotel manager could see them and make some improvements. 1st, one window couldn't be shut in my room, on the first night, I noticed it was very noisy that I could hear cars passing by very loudly, but I was aware it was due the window problem, on the second night I noticed it but it was late night and I just let it go. I didn't ask for compensation on checkout or report this issue as I needed to rush for the airport, however, I do hope the hotel manager should fix this problem asap. 2nd, on the morning of the 2nd day, when I came back to fetch my stuffs after breakfast, I found two men were cleaning the buliding facade from inside my room, i can assure you they were not room cleaning staffs. I don't mind them coming in and carrying out their jobs, but at least they should have needed my consent, rather than, me coming back to the room and finding some strangers in, while I left all my things inside."

"The hotel operation favors outsider guests and private events over the comfort of stay in guests. During our stay spa and pool were closed for private events on multiple occasions. They mop the rooms and not vacuum, we had someone’s acrylic nail in our floor for 2-3 days, disgusting. The location is far from the city center and in general very loud. If you want to party, see and be seen, like meet market ambiance then this is the place for you. Otherwise not recommended."

Overall, the building was old, and there were many concerns such as the toilet door not closing completely, water drainage being poor, and the smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. I was particularly concerned about the smell, and if I didn't open the window, the whole room would be filled with that smell.I informed them of this and asked them to cancel the second night, but they said that the cancellation deadline had passed. I was refused for some reason. (We were offered to move to another room, but the other rooms were the same) Even though the location is good, I won't stay there again considering the price."
