LOOKING FOR CONVENIENT AND MEMORABLE STAY IN YOGYAKARTA ? Definitely, stay in Marriott Yogyakarta. ✅️ Outstanding Service ✅️ Easy-to-access Location ✅️ Next to Mall (Pakuwon) ✅️ Big Rooms My family & I usually stay in T*ntr*m (been our no 1. option in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Tangerang for a while), but considering NY traffic, decided hotel next to mall as safer option, and I think Marriott Yogya will be our no 1. option in Yogyakarta now. PRE-STAY Staying experience actually starts the second we finished the hotel reservation, maybe its long before we even arrive at the hotel. Most dont really optimize this. What I will highlight is Marriott really put my requests (birthday decor in specific room, connecting rooms) into the system, where everyone can check. From the one handling the WhatsApp to the receptionist the day we arrive, Ilham. And they execute my request really well. I've experienced some that forget my request and ended up decorating the wrong room, or not facilitating the request, even though they said they will facilitate. *see pic 8 - 11. It doesnt have to be expensive, businesses have to calculate the cost and margin. Whats important, for me, is put some effort into it. Its part of making the stay memorable. STAY I love it when : - the moment we arrive, the staff helps us by opening the car door, w/ the smile and greeting. Not from just one person, but every staff did the smile and greeting. - Ilham texted that the other room is ready. Most just rely on guest will be the one to follow up, but not Marriott. - we asked the way to mall entrance, the staff took us to the entrance, not just directing w/ hands. - they put anti-slip mat in shower area (pic 6), such a functional addition for safety. Because aesthetic needs to meet w/ function. - we went out at 8.30 in the morning for culinary & coffee around Yogyakarta and put the cleaning sign on, but forget to call, just to communicate that we want the room cleaned while we're out. 2,5 hours later when we're back, those 2 rooms are neat & tidy. Some hotels dont notice the difference those make for guest(s). These, for me, really help building the memorable staying exp. What more could I ask, Marriott Yogya 🫰🏻❤️ thank you

I booked 11 rooms for my team of 20 pax and have requested for non-smoking rooms but, about half reeked of smoke. Single rooms booked were also unavailable though it was booked early. Instead we were given rooms with twin beds joined together even though my team members paid premium. There were also cockroaches in a few of the rooms. We were not compensated except for four cakes sent to our rooms, 1 of which was left outside the room door.

Absolutely loved my stay! The room was clean, cozy, and well-appointed. Service was top-notch—staff were friendly and super helpful. The location is incredibly strategic, close to everything I needed. Not to mention the infinity pool with a breathtaking view of the mountains—definitely the highlight of my trip! Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and convenience with a view.

A stay at Artotel Yogjakarta.... 1st time down in Yogya. Great location .. a lot of eateries from udon to a nice kebab next door... Breakfast was ok decent.. can't compare to the main artotel at thamrin... But service is kinda slow.. Rooms.... A bit worn down... Especially the toilet area.. tiles are slippery... Towels... Hmmm shall not describe much.. but for the price paid... Ohh well I guess not much complain

Great little modern hotel. Very comfy bedding. None of the little issues that often small hotels have ie inconsistent water pressure, sound isolation. Very thoughtful staff and amenities. Close location to cafes. Great infinity pool and little bar on the roof.

As a memeber of Accor Hotels, I book mercure hotels in Jakartha and other countries generally. Here I stayed 2 nights in this Grand Mecure , Yog Yakartha. Firstly, this hotel is super beautiful and decorated, giving value to culture and heritage signages. Every where hotel artefacts matching with heritage Borobudur, prambanan. Staff is very pleasant, polite, and always with a good smile, helpful, and supportive. Rooms are excellent. Special words should be placed here about breakfast . You can have multiple choices. Inluding Western, eastern, and traditional Indonesian foods and drinks. I think best break fast choices I have ever seen so far. Restaurant staff also very nice. Bar staff memeber also very good. She somehow managed to provide food and drinks at the last moment last night. Not only that, the security team is also pleasant and helpful. Even though a bit far from Malioboro Street, staying here is fully worth it.

Over the course of 2 day stay, we had to switch room 3 times before getting a proper room (the 4th room) without any issues. The issues were ranging from broken toilet flush, strong humid/musty strong room smell, old musty sheets and towels in the room, etc. The staff at the front desk were helpful, but we left feeling unimpressed by the experience.

The hotel room was small and not that clean. The hairs were found here and there. The breakfast was simple and messy… Many ppl but not enough table. There is a mall next door but nothing there but only 1 cinema on the 3rd floor.

Menu sarapan yaitu Nasi gorengnya, menurut saya, enak dan pas di lidah. Utk kamar agak sempit ya. Kebetulan di lantai 3 viewnya atap bangunan sebelah hotel.

I am going to my sister graduation, this hotel is near uin jogja and I really loved all the new facilities ************* will be back soon.
