We enjoyed our stay in Yatter. Thanks to Kiki being super helpful and responsive who upgraded our room, and resolved my issues even before we arrived. I thought it’s still a good value considering all amenities and services, even though it is away from the city centre. But we rather stay somewhere quiet and nice like Yatter for the better quality.

Very satisfied with the stay. It was just a brief stay at the hotel. We stayed at the 4th floor. There is a gym and a laundry room. Very clean and well kept. We also used breakfast there. Good selections. Excellent price for the quality received. 👍👍👍👍👍

very comfortable hotel with large rooms and bathroom. location is convenient but the road in from is pretty congested during peak hours. the mall behind the hotel looks deserted. walk to mixc mall took less than 10 mins but you'll need to cross two big roads. TV needs improvement as the control is not responsive. Separately booked hotel breakfast at the counter and it costs 98 RMB for two adults which is very affordable for the decent spread of standard hotel breakfasts. they also had special pillows on request. room also had a nespresso machine though capsules provided were not nespresso branded.

First off, all staff are so polite and welcoming! They will smile and greet you, from the moment you exit your ride to the pool area where you can go soak in the hot spring. I really enjoyed my stay here, it was extremely peaceful and quiet, I’m sure peak season might be different though. The beach across the road is lovely to sit by and the sand is clean. I enjoyed my breakfast and thanks to Ernest for helping me with check in, and allowing me to split my booking so I could get buffet dinners since I had no partner checking in with me. He was welcoming and explained everything well in English, thank you to Megan for answering my questions and updating my buffet code and Prima for the swift check out. I hope to come again here, while the hotel is a little old now they make up for in service. The housekeeping staff does a great job and cleans the basin and the room is spotless when you come back! The only complaint I have is that the tv has 1 English Channel and that switches to Japanese movies sometimes. At the buffet dinner, the manager helped me choose a hot pot of my choice, and showed me where to get everything, the second time she brought me a plate of the soup of the day, she was so kind and lovely, I didn’t catch her name but I have to say thank you to her aswell. Breakfast is delicious and there’s a variety of whatever you like. Desserts are divine!! The hotsprings are lovely in chilly February and there’s an indoor pool too. We booked this hotel thinking it would be a luxury experience comparable to the other 5 star properties nearby, but it fell flat of our expectations. The decor while grand at first glance, is best caught on camera only as the scale of the hotel is not large. The ground floor and lobby is very small, and corridors are narrow and tired-looking. The room itself, apart from the bathroom also does no boast anything spectacular. The view itself is quite nice if you are lucky to get a good room. Breakfast is mediocre at best, definitely not worth paying for. Most of it are carb options with very limited choices of anything else. That would have been fine, but the food itself tastes bad as well. Amenities are equally lacking, the pool is located through a convoluted path of suspicious doors, one would be hard pressed to find it by themselves. Apart from that and a tiny gym, there’s nothing much else the hotel has to offer. It’s also noteworthy that the hotel doesn’t occupy the whole building. Half of the premises is actually an office building, diluting the prestige of a Langham even further. Suffice it to say, we will not recommend staying here, unless the priority is to take pretty photos with the decor.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Westin thoroughly. It was a breeze checking in and the rooms were extremely comfortable. We have the lounge access and I will suggest to anyone to top up the difference in cost to enjoy the view and cosiness of the lounge and evening cocktail and food. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, greeting u. The amenities were good too, nice beautiful pool and a fully equipped gym that was one of the best i have seen in any hotel around. I recently visited the Flair Bar on the 20th floor of the Ritz-Carlton in Haikou and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service. The bartender, Cathy, displayed remarkable skill and creativity with her cocktail mixology, making each drink not just a beverage but a memorable experience. The manager, Sophie, ensured everything ran smoothly, reflecting her excellent management skills and attention to detail. Additionally, the waitresses Vicky and Ruby were the epitome of professionalism and warmth, making our stay even more enjoyable with their attentive and friendly service. The ambiance of the bar was elevated by their combined efforts, making it a must-visit spot. Kudos to the team for their outstanding service which significantly enhanced our evening!

The bathroom is huge and the bed is comfortable, but the daily cleaning touch-up is a hit or miss on my 6-night stay. I noticed hairs weren’t picked up around the toilet area as well as the drainage of the shower area. I don’t wish to have to tell the cleaning staff what they already know they should do. It’s up to the house-keeping managers to make sure the cleaners are doing their jobs properly. Besides that, the hotel is situated across from one of their more famous shopping centers (you do have to walk 15 minutes on a rainy day due to a road barrier), and only an 8-10 minute ride to another one, which greatly helped in me getting lunches and dinners on the ready. Noteworthy to mention, they have food delivery robots serving you your orders right to your room, which greatly helps in receiving food at any hour. I want to say some of the cleaning ladies were nice but others were apprehensive towards me which was somewhat annoying as I’ve been nothing but kind to them. I even made sure the room was kept relatively clean so they don’t have to do too much on a daily basis. Oh but one nice thing they did, which warmed me was the addition of an air-purifier in my room for my entire stay, as the room smelled funky every now and then but the machine kept it minimal.

Ok so this is another B&B home stay that I tried after staying for one night in an overpriced one next door. This is better price wise but much worse in terms of cleanliness and overall care for the place. My room had previous guests hair, plastic wrapping my, a used juice bottle in the fridge and no toilet paper. And also overall for a new place, it looked very run down. I cut my stay short as a result. This stretch of the beach is nice and all these home stays are decent accommodations for like a B&B or Homestay style. Same issues - village is quiet during the hot day and literally nothing to do as there are no swimming pools or gyms or spas or anything really around. Street stalls open in the evening when Sun comes down. This place is also overpriced although much less so than the previous one. Sgd68/night for a room with direct ocean view. Much better than Sgd125/night one next door. Overall recommendation - unless u are Chinese or speak fluent Chinese and don’t mind staying in the room all day reading or doing nothing, while watching the ocean, don’t recommend to stay here. I got a good deal at Holidays Inn nearby for sgd50/night with good breakfast included top floor. Not luxurious and needs some maintenance too, but at least has a gym, a restaurant, and a sky pool. Overall disappointing experience @ this rongshangliao village.
