Mae On District Hotels with Parvekkeita

An amazing place up in the mountain, peaceful and tranquil, great for an escape. It's located lower down than the main village street and only takes a few minutes if walking. However, the owner was incredible, spoke fluent English and on my arrival took me to all the noteworthy places by vehicle which are within 1km. He always offered to take me somewhere if I was going out. The room was very spacious, clean and decorated fitting in with the Japanese theme, the view was good and there's also a balcony accessed from the outside. Bath was good to soak after exploring during the day. The service and food are great, hotpot was delicious, breakfast and coffee perfect. Well worth a visit, highly recommend!!! 💯🔥

A little corner of Japan nestled in the dense, green vegetation of northern Thailand. It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. An experience definitely worth repeating, thanks also to the unique and always helpful staff. Thank you, and see you next time.

He ovat varmasti tehneet paljon hallintaa päästäkseen tänne. Palvelu on erittäin hyvä, heillä on golf auto ajaa meidät ravintolaan, jossa voimme saada aamiaista, lounas tai illallinen. Ehdotan, että he tarjoavat pizzaa tai mookataa, kuka tahansa tilaa tämän. Otimme suudelmatähdessä 2 yötä, ensimmäisellä yöllä ostimme kadulla ruokaa MaeKampongilla illalliselle, toisella yöllä olimme Mookata, rehellisesti sanottuna heidän ruokansa ei ole kallista myös, voimme tuskin päättää koko joukko 2 henkilöä. Heillä on marshallin äänibaari, Netflixin, Youtube jne., jotta voit todella levätä huoneessa, kuunnella luontoa ja katsella TV:tä. Heidän isäntänsä voidaan kommunikoida kautta whatsapp myös, joten kerro heille mitä tarvitset, he yrittävät auttaa. Rakastan heidän vieraanvaraisuutta jopa niin kaukana, mutta yritä silti tarjota meille parhaat!!!

ที่พักดีสะดวกสบาย สะอาด ที่นอนดี ห้องน้ำแยกห้องสุขา ห้องอาบน้ำ อาหารเช้าโอเคร เรือนทานข้าวติดกับลำธารบรรยากาศดีมากๆ ในห้องพักมีกระจกบานใหญ่สำหรับคุณผู้หญิงแต่งหน้าแต่งตัวสะดวก แต่อยากให้มีรองเท้าใส่ในบ้านเตรียมไว้ให้ เพราะดึกๆอากาศเย็นเดินแล้วเย็นเท้า ที่ชอบอีกอย่างมีน้ำดื่มทานฟรีให้เป็นสิบขวดและน้ำอัดลมแช่เย็นดีมากๆ มีมาม่าคัพเพื่อหิวทานฟรีเช่นกัน ทางที่พักใส่ใจดีมากๆ พนักงานก็น่ารักดูแลดี ตินิดนึงที่ทำเล ที่พักติดถนนข้ามไปก็เป็นลำธาร แต่ไม่มีที่นั่งเล่นส่วนกลาง ถ้ามีจะดีมากๆเลย

note that there are 2 Chaiyapol Homestays so it’s good to check with them prior. i booked a Standard Room (B2) via trip.com and thought the location - as per the map - was a 10mins walk from Mae Kampong Village. lugged myself + heavy backpack up hills to find out when i reached that the homestay was located at the village itself (great location, walking distance to all the shops but wish i knew earlier!) apart from that, had an absolutely lovely stay. the young staff spoke english and was really helpful and nice. room is nice and clean. snacks + drinks are available for purchase in the room but tip: bring your own mama noodles for mookata! they sell one set for 350 baht which i enjoyed eating outside at the balcony staff also asked if i would like to join the sunrise at Kew Fin + Mae Kampong Waterfall for 100baht/person; pick up at 5.30am. glad i went! it was beautiful. it gets chilly on top so you can also take the white “bed runner” in the room as a scarf breakfast is included and is at a separate restaurant, just a couple minutes walk from the accom, located at the cafe At-Mae-Kampong. it was a buffet spread with healthy options. absolutely loved the congee! it’s so good, must try overall had a very pleasant experience. definitely recommend! homestay location is great and value for money. good for a 2d1n trip. i booked shared transport via klook from chiang mai

Morning Thanthong Chiang Mai is a charming retreat with clean and spacious rooms, ensuring a comfortable stay. The highlight is the serene river stream right in front of the hotel, creating a peaceful ambiance. The location is calm and quiet, perfect for relaxation, and the friendly staff enhance the overall experience. Its close proximity to Mae Kampong makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. A wonderful choice for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility.

The owner is very kind and helpful. Enjoyed our stay at there. Super near to the river and the water is crystal clear. You may order food with them as well. Wish to stay again.

The place is a bit far away from restaurants and other things, but they have bikes for rent. The service was great, they are very helpful. Cleanliness can be improved, but I understand it is in a forest setting. About a kilometer or so walking distance from Yi Peng festival venue.

The access to the villa was covered by soil and mud. Its slippery. The room's entrance door is using glass door which can see the entire room which I dont feel comfortable. Theres no curtain or shades to cover it. Theres also a cockroach in the room.
