Shota Rustavalli Boutique Hotel, Tbilisi, Georgia: The most luxe of our stay in our whirlwind, super-tiring travels through Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, we were looking forward to well-deserved pampering here and daily warm bath tub soaks. I’m one for authentic reviews so here goes. The start of our stay was terrible. Water was cut off in this part of town - mind you, we were next to the Parliament of Georgia, how dare they. So there was no water for the day. If you have just arrived, smelling far from English Gardens and sweaty, this is the end of your world. We were given mammoth water bottles for wipe downs. Water was up the next day. It isn’t the hotel’s fault, really. However, there were more shortcomings. We had full-day trips out of city and were too exhausted to complain. Our door didn’t open or close easily, like there was a misalignment. Room smells like sewage in the evening. Shower gel ran out and housekeeping didn’t top up. This was mortifying as we had an early day trip out and housekeeping didn’t start till 7.30 am as I was informed via Whatsapp, but reception said 9 am. AC is always parked at room temperature, sometimes warm. Pool, gym and sauna are out too and unannounced on site. I’m listing the litany of crimes so management can sort this out as the poor staff get the lambasting. Gocha was very sweet and explained as much as he could with the water cut-off. Ana was our thumbs-up favorite with 360-service recovery. She arranged for a birthday cake for my son. Also a complimentary bubbly breakfast. Also so kindly extended our check out time (although there was a power cut for a good hour, we were nonetheless grateful). The great merits here are the location – this is smack right in the city, we even stood next to the protestors at Parliament of Georgia. Restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping, museums are all around, within a short walk. There’s 10% discount on dining and free Georgian wine (you’ll be drinking it like water in Georgia). It did all end on a very sweet note – thank you Ana. #eatstylishtravelstylish

My experience at sandali metheki was amazing,Breakfast tastes so amazing, the staffs are so helpful and very nice with top notch professionalism 🥰, the hotel location is very accessible to different parts of the city . Thank you sandali metheki, will surely visit again. 👍👍

I loved this hotel and stayed here more than 10 times for sure. But unfortunately, I have to admit that the service is getting worse 😩 If during my last stay they brought the requested dentel kits and slippers an hour after calling the reception, then this time - they didn't bring it at all! I see that the hotel is empty, but nevertheless, they put us in a room with such a view on the second floor. Where literally every office worker from the adjoining building could look at us.

Brand new and very clean. Comfortable beds. The room missed a few things like water bottles, vanity kits, etc. but they brought all of it after we asked. Possibility to check in early for 50% of the rate which is very useful when you arrive in the middle of the night. Slight issue with the bathroom if you take a shower, the water doesn't go down the drain right away so it starts leaking outside.

We booked this hotel last minute as we arrived to Gerogia and we're not happy with the first hotel we initially booked. And, guess what, Khedi Hotel by Ginza Project did not disappoint us. The hotel is nice and cozy, the amenities are complete and good, the room is nice with variety of options in the mini-bar, the staffs are very accommodating and helpful. We arrived and had been offered with complimentary drinks. The breakfast was a top-notch in Khedi Restaurant, a lot of breakfast options and good restaurant ambiance with the view of the city. Additionally, special thanks to Nikolai from Reception for helping us. My husband was sick and we badly needed a medicine from the store, he's been very helpful and he make sure we're okay. We will definitely come back with the whole family next winter and definitely to Khedi Hotel.

It was upsetting experience during my 6th visit to amazing Tbilisi. 1. It is not easy to find an entrance as the hotel name is placed on another side of the building and the entrance door is not marked by any sign with the hotel name 2. Staff is not friendly or supportive. I checked in around 1 pm just to leave suitcase and did not ask to provide a room as had plans. There were 2 guys at reception dealing with me. I came back to the hotel around 7 pm, my docs were on the desk and I could see them while the receptionist could not find them and asked to sign the docs which have been signed in the morning. He could not explain me if there is a lift (I tried to speak both English and Russian) and I had a strong feeling that he is under some *****. 3. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor with very loud music. I booked a room with a lovely balcony but had to ask to change it as could not have rest because of the music. When I came to reception, first I was told that the music stops at 11 pm but I go to sleep at 9-10 pm and need quiet atmosphere (it is not metioned anywhere about music). Thankfully, I got another room but it was worse than the one I paid for. No balcony, 2 single beds instead of double one. Aints in the bathroom. So it was not a fair exchange (I was even ready to pay more for a better room but the staff is not supportive). 4. The breakfast is nice and the waiter in the restaurant is super nice and friendly (the only nice person I met at the hotel)

Hotel itself was fine along with the breakfast. The spa was amazing, but I had 2 big problems with the hotel which is service and cleaning: 1. Cleaning: Rooms were not cleaned 3/12 days of the trip where we had to request multiple times those days to clean and sometimes it wasn't even cleaned properly as the room had multiple dead bugs on the floor, especially under the nightstands. 2. Service: The day I checked out my gold bracelet went missing after the cleaning that morning (my friend stayed an extra day). I dug through trash outside after a long battle for them to take me there. We searched the whole room, I spoke to cleaning and more. As I left (15) I spoke to front desk. On 16&17th I emailed. On 18&19th I called. On the 19th I was finally helped and told that he will finally ask around and email me back. It took 5 attempts for them to start bothering and it has ruined the experience for me. If you go really take care of your belongings, but the location is great and so is the pool.

Мы останавливались в данном отеле на три ночи в двух разных номерах. И вот те плюсы и минусы, которые хотелось бы отметить. Плюсы: - удобное расположение. Отель находится близко к центру, до проспекта Руставели 20 минут пешком через Сухой мост и парки. Рядом находится пешеходная улица с ресторанами и Spar. - в номерах тихо, особенно на втором этаже. Но есть Но: внутри самого отеля большая слышимость. И если звуки улицы вам никак не помешают, то происходящее в холле слышно так, будто вы сами сейчас в этом холле. Но отель маленький, поэтому много шуметь точно никто не будет :) - отель и номера достаточно уютные. Много освещения, большие окна, красивый вид на город (номер 1) или на крыши (номер 5). Чай/кофе, которым можно угоститься. Минусы: - самый большой минус - отсутствие администратора. Она есть, но только строго в рабочие часы. Утром и вечером решить вопросы, что-то спросить или узнать не получится. И кажется, будто это стало проблемой не только для нас судя по тому, сколько людей за время нашего пребывания пыталось связаться с администратором отчаянно звоня в колокольчик на столе. В одну ночь, ближе к утру, в отель зашли люди и начали громко разговаривать, шуметь, звонить в колокольчик и пытаться связаться с администратором. У них ничего не вышло, но уже никто не спал. - неудобные подушки. Но, возможно, неудобными они показались только нам. - скрипучие двери. Мы очень переживали, что открывая и закрывая дверь туалета на втором этаже будим весь отель. Двери можно смазать и проблема решена :) - и не минус, а скорее наблюдение: в двухместных номерах есть большой стол, на столе две чашки и чайник. Т.е. подразумевается, что за ним можно пить чай, вдвоём. Но стул почему-то везде один! Определённо нужен ещё один стул :) В целом, отель уютный. Считаю, что это хороший вариант на несколько ночей, чтобы остановиться в Тбилиси :)
