"The location is perfect - 5 minutes walk away from the beach - 5 minutes walk to Plaza de la Iglesia. Here you find a lot of restaurants, shops and bars. My room was large. Great bed and a shower to die for. Coffee machine and mini bar at the room. The pool area has amazing sunbeds and a lovely pool. I love a great breakfast. The breakfast at La Serena is not great. It is decent. You can not order any eggs like scramble, fried or an omelet. The tortilla is very similar to the one I buy at Mercadona. I think it is from Mercadona. Which is fine with me. Mercadona makes the best tortilla in Spain. I did not try the restaurant for lunch or dinner. I will stay at La Serena next time I am in Altea"

"Welcoming owners, superb beachfront location with fantastic views, and the best breakfasts. We had a corner room with a beach view for our 2 night stay and couldn't have been happier. We were b and b and the hotel uses an attached restaurant right on the promenade for guests breakfasts. A great selection of healthy and otherwise food. We both opted for the English and they were super...and huge. Great quality ingredients. As it's an old building with historical character, it doesn't have a lift and the stairs are steep and narrow, so the rooms aren't suitable for anyone with mobility issues. For everyone else, book here...it's fabulous."

"Täysin fantastinen hotelli, me rakasti oleskelua täällä. Sijainti on hyvä, 5 minuutin kävelymatkan kulkee jokaiseen suuntaan vanhaan kaupunkiin tai rantaan. Hotelli itse on erittäin boutique, jossa on todellista huomiota yksityiskohtiin kohdistuvia valmiuksia ja asioita kuten vessanhoitola. Huone oli hyvin iso erillisessä kylpyhuoneessa ja suihkussa sekä hyvin iso, mukava vuode. Henkilöstö oli uskomattoman ystävällinen ja apukas ja aina käsillä hymy. Erityinen huuto Stephanie joka oli fantastinen ja teki meidän oleskelu niin helppoa. En epäröi varata tätä vuokraa uudelleen."

"Hostal Luxury Nit I Dia is definitely luxury. Everything new, a super comfortable bed, a great shower and a good sized fridge. Our room (“Benidorm”) had a huge terrace with outdoor furniture overlooking the promenade. Absolutely fabulous. We stayed for a week for a wedding, and we had several rooms booked for family members. It was absolutely perfect. On the first floor is a useful common area complete with freezer (useful for ice cubes), toaster, microwave, and bowl of fruit. Don’t be fooled by Google Street View, the place only opened in spring 2024, or by Google Maps Satellite, the promenade has since been pedestrianised and beautifully laid out. The owner, Pepe, was super attentive and very helpful in every respect, his English is good too. And the cleaning ladies were also very helpful and flexible. Highly recommended."

"Meillä oli aivan uskomaton oleskelu täällä! Palvelu oli ehdottomasti yläkerrassa ja saimme palvelun 4 ja 5 tähden hotellissa. Se ylitti paljon kokemusta, joka meillä oli seuraavassa hotellissa, 4 tähden resort valtameren lähellä (joka tapauksessa toivoimme, että olimme juuri jääneet Hotel Abaco koko ajan). Me jäimme Buganvilla huoneessa ja se tuli nopeasti suosikki hotellihuone, jonka olen koskaan oleskelenut, mikä tarkoittaa paljon, miten paljon matkustaa. Arkkitehtuuri on kaunis ja ainutlaatuinen. Uima-allas on täydellinen - kukkiva begonian seinä olohuoneessa täydennettynä kattotiileillä ja kivimuuri huoneessa. Rakastin palaavan illallisen jälkeen ja kylpyyn kanssa merkkivalot olohuoneessa antavat kaiken kultaisen huulen. Sänkit ovat täydellinen vahvuus korkealaatuisia pesuja. Käyttöharjat olivat myös erinomaisia. Harvinainen, että kumppani tai minä saa kurkkukipua nukkuessaan hotellin sängyssä. Valitettavasti, ei kipua täällä! Suosittelen erittäin jäädä Hotel Abaco. Jos olemme koskaan takaisin Altea-alueella olemme takaisin ja pyydämme Buganvilla huone jälleen!"

"A really nice hotel that is relaxed, spotless clean and the staff are all really helpful. We arrived at 3am and the receptionist was so helpful and polite. The rooms are spotless and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and plenty of sun loungers and chairs around. The beach is rocky so bring beach shoes. Breakfast was fabulous and plenty of choice. Only issue we had was that our room was too warm. We called down and also mentioned it at reception every day but it was never lower than 23* no matter what we done. The location is fabulous with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants within walking distance but the shuttle bus that the hotel organise will also bring you to the centre where there are gorgeous restaurants and bars and a few local shops and churches. We are already looking at returning again and I will most definitely be staying in this hotel again."

"This is about the 4th time we have stayed here. It is beautifully decorated and the owners supply just about everything you could need, and some! In the bathrooms there is shampoo and shower gel, in the kitchen there is coffee, sugar, cereal, jam, butter and milk. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. It is located in the old town with a tapas bar virtually next door."

"Enjoyed our stay at Altea house. Very comfortable bed, there is a kettle and coffee in the room and it also had a mini fridge. I really liked the decor of the room, it had a beach vibe. It is on a main road so there is some noise from traffic but it didn't bother us and we slept really well. Very clean room and close to the beach and all the bars and restaurants. The hotel was very helpful and gave us clear information on how to access the property."
