One of the best experiences in my life. The view from the windows is incredible. Kaiseki dinner was awesome (requires booking in advance, though). Modern yet real onsen. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The only problem: bad private bath condition. But nothing critical.

The hotel room is very lovely. Do take advantage of the cheaper overnight parking at the hotel if you are driving. I parked elsewhere and the overnight parking fee is more than parking at the hotel. The breakfast buffet is simple but very delicious. The service is also very good. The hotel is also a participating hotel for the luggage delivery service. It saved me from the backaches of carrying the luggage by myself.

First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price! 1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not. 2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning. 3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F. 4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price. Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊

The service was a little short of. I read reviews that they are very friendly but i felt that it’s not like this. I felt they were very curt in the way they speak and look tired. Nonetheless, the location was good. Just right at the side of the Chinatown. The hotel is very budget not matching to its price, considering that I’ve been to 4 hotels during my stay. The lights goes off quickly at the foyer. The water flow was small. But it’s ok, it’s eco-friendly i guess. The miso soup at breakfast was the yummiest. The carpark was expensive and they will charge you if you arrive early or leave the car at their carpark accordingly after the check in and out hours. This is understandable but this is where the hotel lost some sense of touch here.

酒店挺大，從車站過去要上一個大坡，拉着行李太費勁。想打電話讓接，結果攜程提供的店換號碼少一位，打不通，正好有一個台灣家庭打了接站電話把我們一起接上了。 酒店不錯，服務人員很熱情，窗外山景很美，晚上温泉沒人，享受私湯待遇。 也可以免費開私湯。 因為攜程的電話號碼不對，聯繫不上酒店，沒有提前預訂晚餐，入住的時候晚餐預訂滿了，想在鎮上找吃的，結果好一點的飯館也都訂滿了。旅遊旺季一定要提前預訂晚餐。

We arrived around noon on a rainy day. Luckily, there was a shuttle bus in front of the train station. You can tell the driver that you staying at this hotel and they will drop you in front of the hotel. the hotel also provides the flree drop-off at the train station. the room is very good with plenty of space and private toilet and bathroom. The onsen at the hotel even though small is very good ambience. Both dinner and breakfast are excellent. the service is beyond expectation!!!! Location is excellent as well. Recommend this hotel to everyone.

- close proximity to train station and bus stop from Kobe. - very spacious room. Enjoyed lounging on the sofa to enjoy the balcony. - dinner was sufficient but not luxurious. The steamed crab rice filled us up. - breakfast had great variety. I enjoyed the mushroom dish best. Unfortunately they did not replenish the handmade tofu for us to try. - staff was professional.

I have to express my sincere gratitude to Ms Hatsumi from the hotel. Thanks to her help, I had a wonderful trip to Rokkōsan. She is definitely a polite, professional, and of course pretty lady. Her communication skills are good especially that she speaks fluent English which would be of great help for someone like me who don't speak any japanese. Although the original local tour was full of bookings , she helped me reserve a taxi and solve my ease of communicating with local taxi drivers. The view and environment is splendid with a great hotel service teams. I would highly recommend to someone who wants to experience a unique accommodation experience. Though the drawbacks , as you might know already , is 1) no private bathroom 2) not sound-proof building materials , but it is understandable given that the hotel is with ancient history

overall I am more disappointed and dissatisfied with Trip.com. The email I received from Trip.com and the info shown my booking was to check in at 3pm and to check out at 11am but I was told by the hotel that ai booked a short stay rate so I was only allowed to check in at 5pm and check out at 9am the next day. so I guess Trip.com has made the profit from me by lying?

Really good experience in there!!! Love their hot spring!!!!!! You can have the really beautiful view when you enjoy the hot spring!!! The service was really good and they try their best to communicate in English with me. However, don’t expect that the room is so clean. Is still acceptable for me. Strongly recommended if you drive a car to there.
