"Everything was good. Employees were super friendly with welcome drinks. Bunk beds are always the same in Scandic for kids. Breakfast is always delicious in Scandic. One thing that was non sense was the parking fee. It costs 450 nok for one night. Had I known this in the beginning, I would have consider airbnb also. I know it is Norway so parking fee is expansive but this parking fee is out of line."

"This is a charmless but functional place that delivers basic comfort at a reasonable price for Norway. It seems to serve aging middle-income backpacker types who can't deal with shared showers anymore, like myself and my husband. Our rooms were up a flight of steep, narrow stairs and through a heavy hallway door, not easy if you're dragging a suitcase. The room was dowdy but clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and good shower and a well-stocked kitchenette. Like almost everywhere we stayed in the country, only one of us had a bedside table and reading lamp. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. They let us stack our luggage in a corner of the small reception while sight-seeing on our last day. Tea and coffee machines are in the reception. "
