The hotel is very clean with excellent service. The view from the rooftop hot spring is amazing. The surrounding area is a blend of nature and modern culture, with plenty of restaurants nearby.

Hotel and rooms are old but still nice. Direct Lake View is great. Unfortunately hotel is profit oriented instead of customer oriented. Be customer focused and profit will follow…. Outside onsen is basic but with nice view. Everything overpriced! (Set Dinner 11 000 Yen !! Choose please! Either you upgrade and can ask these over the top prices, or you leave everything in this very old state, but then do not expect people to pay these rates… Also music in corridor too loud. Wakes up everybody around 6AM…. Only hotel where there was no lounge happy hour with some free drinks and snacks….

Matkapäiväkirja: Löydä Nyuto Onsen Village Tämä matka alkoi yksinkertaisena päätöksenä vain nähdä kuvia kauniista ääliöistä ja hotellin aamiaista ja illallista paketti! Se oli niin pakottava päätös, että en edes häiritse tutkia sijainti. Mitä yllättyi eniten oli löytää hotellini lähellä Nyuto Onsen Village, kuuluisa historiallinen kuuma kevätkylä, jossa on selkeä näkymä Tazawako järveen. Olen viettänyt aikaa tutkia kylän seitsemän paskaa, jokainen omilla ainutlaatuisilla charmeillaan ja lämpimällä kevätlaatuillaan, joten tämä matka on vieläkin palkitsevampi kuin odotin. Tulevat reittit: Olen jo ajatellut, että seuraavalla matkalla varaan hotellin raskaan luminlaskun aikana, jotta voin sukeltaa Tsurunoyu Onsen. Näkymä ulkona kylpylä lumi on täysin houkutteleva. Spacious room and bathroom, but a little old and dusty. Quite a distance from Odate station so will need to catch a bus or prepare for a 20-30 min walk. Helpful staff who guided us where to catch buses.

I booked universal Twin Room, it is big enough for us. Clean and comfortable. We’’ve pleasure stay. Hot springs is one of spot.

Excellent experience to see the springs and try the baths. Food was good too.

Kakunodate asukkaiden rakastama avoimella kylpyhuoneella, paikka, jossa on kokouspaikka, ja maisema ulkopuolella ikkunan huone oli todella maalaavat. Ateria tuli ulos Kiritanpo ja sashimi keitetty kala, aamiainen oli yksinkertainen buffet, ainoa puoli on, että ei ole pesukone tilaa

This place is extraordinarily overpriced for what it is. I expected much more amenities and service. Although the staff were friendly and courteous, the place was fairly bland. The onsen was mediocre and there were no refreshments afterwards unless you wanted to go to a vending machine. Even Dormy Inn provides refreshments after the onsen but at Towado Hotel having to pay for them and not even the nice ones is ridiculous when you have to pay so much to stay here. The same for the relaxation chair. It is coin-operated not complementary. I would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a luxury experience because although you pay for that, it’s definitely nowhere near that. Our Western style room was very basic, and it just didn’t have those special finishing touches I had hoped for. 

飯店位於田澤湖高原 可以在田澤湖車站搭乘巴士前往，約半個多小時 到達“上高原溫泉站”後下車再走約4分鐘就可以到 飯店在滿山裡的，所有積雪很多很有秘境感 飯店是那種滿傳統的日式旅館，含晚餐早餐都非常豐盛 房間是榻榻米，就是印象中日劇裡面常常看到的，氛圍很好 被子在進房間一開始就已經舖好，非常溫暖 大浴場一進去會有一點硫磺味，聽說對皮膚和肌肉痠痛很有效 浴場有內外湯，外湯看出去就是滿滿積雪，真的很有冬天的感覺 餐點美味，環境舒服，人員親切，非常推薦給大家
