The bathroom and room is tidy, but in-terms of cleanliness should have more room of improvements, as we still found some dust on the bed and in the bathroom as well. But since it's a backpacker style hostel, couldn't be much picky bout the hostel itself.
Kitchen amenities is great, and I love the common area there.
Definitely a go to if you have budget concerns!

I stayed 4 nights at Centabay and overall it was ok- it is in a central location in Paihia close to the wharf. the structure needs more renovations but they do their best to keep it clean with the volunteers cleaning every day.

Dargaville is a small town with several Asian restaurants (recommend Suphan Thai in town) and a Woolworth's. This motel is located in the suburbs - a quiet and peaceful area away from traffic. Was surprised that the unit came with a kitchen (stove, fridge microwave oven) even though the room description only mentioned a LCD TV. WiFi was functional but slower than other places. Bedding was good. We couldn't find a hairdryer in the room.

JJanya TLove convenience location but when you booked in app you will got old Building. Like a small kitchen in the room. Tiny Dishwasher was surprised me. Smart tv box is excellent for my Entertainment. Only problem was hot water temperature when showering. It's hard to control stable warm. Too hot and too cold. The towels supposed to change after second day stay that notice in the bathroom but it changed on fourth day of six days.

I like that there are heater, fan, microwave, plates, complimentary muesli, biscuits and milk, etc in the room, however, unfortunately we had really bad sleep because the shower seemed to be leaking, weird clicking noises kept going on throughout the day and the night in the room and it was almost impossible to sleep.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäWe booked a 1 bedroom apartment. It was clean and the service of the staff is good. The locatipn of the property was quite near the city centre, a short drive to the supermarkets.
The cooking utensils were rather basic, with some missing items. We asked the lady and she replaced them for us.
There was only one AC in the apartment, so we need to keep the bedroom door open at night.

XXi Ping ChenI like the location and Bay of Island is beautiful. Admiral's View Lodge is clean, quiet and offers self driving traveller's everything what one needs. Paihia's small community is nice, friendly and one can feel safe. I lost my mobile phone while I went out for dinner and found it in the next morning thanks to the lost and found board in the community.

HhannatravelsFrom moment we arrived lovely Sarah was so welcoming 100%.price was really good compared to other places we have stayed that cost more and wasn't worth money. Stones throw from the beach.Thus was our second time staying really enjoyed and had a really good night's sleep.lovely touch they give you a bottle of milk on arrival 😀

DDerek.G.OudThe motel is in a good location. But the hotel is quite run down and very tired. The unit we had was relatively clean. The swimming pool looked a bit like a scene from a horror movie... In summary, It wasn't a bad experience to stay there, and it was quite good value for money.
