One of the best hostel experiences in all my travels in Southeast Asia where you will meet some of the nicest employees, volunteers, owners and fellow travelers. Amenities are generally good and the entire facility is incredibly clean. There are a mix of room sizes with different numbers of beds. There is only one weekly organized social event at the hostel so guests need to self-organize amongst themselves; the hostel can do more to provide a more cohesive social experience.

Place it gd ..but the room ,no tv ,no wordrop..
If U could place small flats screen .tv which mounted..on wall..much more better ....firstly plz, put out hotel name or signage at the main Rd...so is easy for tourist who drive to locate ..our direction straight away ..for check in....

Erinomainen hotelli erittäin alhainen hinta. Siinä on kaikki mitä tarvitset. Huoneessa on jääkaappi, TV, mukava iso vuode, ilmastointi! Hotellin ulospäin on toimittaja, on rautaa lautasen ja mikroaaltouuni! Rekisteröinti hotellissa on sähköinen, etäisyys, sinun ei tarvitse jättää talletusta! Ainoa pieni haitta on hotellin sijainti. Se on hieman etäisyys kauppoja ja nähtävyyksiä! Mutta jos sinulla on auto tai skooter, sinulle tämä ei ole ongelma! Suosittelen varmasti tätä hotellia kaikille! Erityisesti sopiva hiljaiseen perheen loma lähellä luontoa!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is really strategic, which is just besides the underwater world/ aquarium. The hotel signboard bit small hence might need to very careful when searching.
The toilet is under repair. Hence, it is really a bit upset. Maybe it can be locked to avoid people keeping open accidentally or unaware and smell come out.
I like the common area as it provides smoking and non smoking area and it really helped.

I like this area as I stayed nearby last year. Quiet. Peaceful. Walking distance to a great quiet beach. Away from too many tourists. Close to local Malay community, restaurants, street food. I will come again, I am sure. Of yeh, great value for money. Thank you to the friendly staff on reception.

Amazing experience!
Very kind host that made our stay so memorable.
Hotel has a kitchen that is so convenient for someone who cooks often. Very clean and very quiet. 10/10

VVieraskäyttäjäThe room is clean , spacious with necessities amenities. Check-in and check-out were convenient. The shower water is good, Aircon works well. Bed is comfortable (although the pillow is a bit high for me). The location is quiet and also near the Cenang beach area. Easy to go around with Grab. They also rent motorcycles. There’s a small supermarket and a breakfast stall just at the entrance of the lane. Good experience.

DDrShah786It was a good experience and the most important thing was the staff, they are amazing people, help a lot during a short stay, the hotel accommodations were great and up to the budget. Can recommend you if you have not too much requirements. Also the hotel can improve the washroom drainage system.

VVieraskäyttäjä1) Located at Kedawang area which is opposite Holiday Villa & next to Aloft, If the Grab driver can't locate the place.
2) The mural on the wall depicts ”Cactus 🌵Inn” If u don't realise where is it after alighting from the Grab. 🤓 Friendly staff.
3) More of a private own premise converted into a comfortable Inn which has a little cafe next to it that serves light menu & plays good old 60s & 70s music that'll reminisce the past. 🎶👍🏻 Of course, the Inn doesn't look like what it has illustrated in the booking platform. More plants & less cleanliness!
4) Room facilities were well equipped wt mineral water, coffee sachet, hairdryer, TV, aircond, fan, shower gel, towels & toilet roll. 🤗
5) A cosy place for the night wt free wifi But Full of insect bugs flying in the bathroom! I killed 10 insect bugs, I guess they flew in from the bathroom window which is situated next to the backyard. Ensure you close your bathroom door to avoid the irritating insect bugs in your room! Otherwise it's a quiet place just for a night. There's another cafe Next to Cactus Inn called ”ARC” that serves Nyonya & Portuguese food! Don't miss the Chicken Pongteh!! 😋👍🏻 Friendly staffs though price can be steep!

IIvan KraljSadly, this looks like a place that desperately needs renovation. It looks quite neglected, from walls screaming for new paint, to torn bedsheets, to broken pipes in the bathroom leaking water.
Also, some things are not as advertised in their profile. There is no 24 hour front desk - in fact, check in is very simple, you come to a desk, and find the key with the sticker with your name on it (it would be nice if they informed guests about this).
Also, there is no hot water in the bathroom (even if room description claims otherwise), nor electric kettle in the room.
There was also no toilet paper, but after i sent them an email about it (remember, no 24 hour front desk), they brought a roll with an apology.
They were nice enough to extend my check out for an hour. But more than just being flexible, i think their business would improve if they invested more into maintenance of the place.

HHabbyVery hard to get a clean hotel in alor star, this is one of clean hotel in town. im very satisfied with the environment and cleanliness. there is alot food downstair included the famous cafe. Just that it not suitable for those who are light sleeper. the soundproof abit terrible. And the water heater abit slow to get hot water. others was fine.

AAntonova NHotelli on hintansa arvoinen. Huoneet ovat tilavia, ja niissä on vedenkeitin ja jääkaappi sekä oleskelualue sisäänkäynnillä. Varauksessamme oli joitakin ongelmia, mutta henkilökunta ratkaisi ne nopeasti.
Sijainti on erinomainen – se on aivan rannan keskellä ja lähellä merta, 7 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä, mutta silti erittäin hiljainen ja rauhallinen. Lähistöllä on paljon kahviloita ja kauppoja, ja kadun toisella puolella on yömarkkinat, jotka ovat avoinna klo 18.00–23.00.

TTravel_dizHotelli sijaitsee aivan kadun keskellä, lähellä merta. Nämä ovat sen ainoat plussat; muut ovat C+. WiFi ei toiminut huoneessa, mutta parvekkeella saimme tuskin yhteyttä.
Pyyhkeitä ja saippuaa lukuun ottamatta ei ollut mitään muuta. Mutta meillä oli shampoota. Lavuaari oli haljennut. Ilmastointilaite toimi.
Sängyt ja liinavaatteet olivat puhtaat – se oli helpotus.
Yhdessä on keittiö, jossa on vedenjäähdytin, lavuaari ja silityslauta, jota oli pelottavaa koskettaa.
Yövyimme tässä hotellissa selvitäksemme parempien hotellien välillä. Se täytti täysin odotuksemme.

Peace and quite village but near to Chenang so it's recommended places to choose. I have good experience here. Really like it!
