Excellent location in the ancient town. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff who helped us with our onward journey to Kyrgyzstan and checked in on how we were doing. Very large and comfortable bed with high quality clean bedding. Very hot powerful shower. The bathroom wasn't super clean when we arrived but overall an excellent stay.

Kaunis hiljainen hostelli, jossa on helppo rentoutua. Sänky on mukava, ei kaasua keittää, mutta on kuuma vesi mikroaaltouuni ja muutamia muita laitteita voit käyttää. Se on hieman kaukana vanhasta kaupungista, mutta on paljon muita ostokaduja lähellä. Jätin pyöräni oven ulkopuolelle, koska se on erittäin turvallinen alue. Oli joitakin hyvin ystävällisiä ihmisiä hostelli, jotka auttoivat minua navigoida kiinalainen tapa tehdä asioita. On todella hyvää arvoa jäädä tänne, suosittelisi. Staff were helpful. The location was near the train station which is great for walking. The hostel has a large lobby and communal area for hanging out and chilling. Lots of amenities. Water is free to refill. Beds and toilets were clean and well-equipped with hair dryers. Really pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place for solo travellers.

Varattu ja erityisesti pyydetty kulman alavuode, kun kaikki 4 vuodetta oli esitetty vielä saatavilla verkossa. Kun saapuin, kaikki alavuodet oli osoitettu muille ja minulla ei ollut muuta vaihtoehtoa kuin hyväksyä yläkerran sängyä hieman värjätyillä ja röyhkeillä pyyhkeillä ja vuodelevyillä. Huone on krampoitu ja liitetty jaettu WC vielä enemmän. kunnan alue on tupakan paratiisi. Ainoat säästölahjat ovat sijainti (lähde rautatieasema ja Wanda Plaza) ja 2 mukava asuinlapsi purr-lapsi.

The location of this hostel is right in the heart of the main tourist area. The dormitory has no air condition and it can be hot during the summer, only one-time use paper towel is sold, there's no proper towel for rent. Bed is squeaky and make a lot of sounds.

Welcoming, fun and central place to stay near Liuxing Street! The owner speaks English well and is super friendly and interesting. His love for travel and his culture is displayed around the hostel with the beautiful and quirky decor, and it is easy to see that lots of love and thought went into this place. His family were around and they are lovely too. They gave me a free coconut coffee which was delicious! The female shared room was clean and modern, with a comfortable bed with a curtain. There was a  cupboard for each bed. There is a little shared kitchen which had a fridge/freezer, a hot water dispenser and things for cooking and eating (although I didn’t cook there). The shared female toilets had a few toilets and a few shower stalls - a down side for me was the toilets are all squat toilets and there was no toilet paper when I was there so I had to bring my own (maybe I did not see it, I did not ask). There were shared living spaces where you could sit at the tables and chairs, an outdoor courtyard area with a nice little garden, a lovely quiet reading room area with the owner’s books, and a rooftop area with tents. It’s a really cool, international place. I would love to come back again.

Lovely stay at Gobi Desert. The location is very central in the old district and near lots of places to eat and walk around. The staff at the hostel are super helpful - whatever I needed and they tried too help out. Can't thank them enough. The room was large, quiet and had everything I needed. thanks again!

The location is great. The shower and toilet at 2nd floor need to be clean regularly. Also it helps to put curtains at both the entrance/exit because when you take shower, the wind/ cold air really send shivers down your spine. Please please fix the door at 209, 211. When you want to close the door from the outside, you have to pull to shut it and the bang can wake up the whole neighborhood.

It was my second time staying here, the place is beautiful and I met so many nice girls who I ended up hanging out with while I was in Yining. The Kazanqi area around the hostel is lovely, walking distance from great restaurants and shops. I was able to put things I the fridge and freezer and use the kitchen at the hostel. The courtyard and balcony are such nice places to sit and do work or eat there was also a puppy which was so cute!! The rooms were clean and comfortable, with cute decor and the toilet/shower room in the room is modern and clean. I definitely recommend!
