This destination is well-suited for families and couples seeking a pleasant vacation. 25 km to the east from Kouvola, Väliväylä Canoeing Route 15 m, gently deepening sand beach, rowing boat, and a pier. Round log cabin, built in 1998 and renovated in 2023, features a living room/kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower and WC, and a wood-burning sauna. A grill hut serves as an outdoor cooking area, complemented by a gas grill on the terrace. The spacious, partly covered terrace includes an embedded hot tub, free for use between May and October. The terrace features a gas grill, perfect for preparing meals such as post-sauna snacks. You can also take a refreshing dip in the Kymi River. The swimming area has a soft, gently deepening bottom, and you can access the water from the dock. A public beach on the opposite side of the river is accessible by boat (approx. 600 m) or car (3–4 km).
