From the very first moment we arrived, we felt not like ordinary guests, but like truly welcome and valued people. The atmosphere in the hotel is incredibly warm, calm, and pleasant — it really feels like a place where you can fully relax and enjoy your time. The room was perfect: extremely clean, well-maintained, beautifully prepared, and what impressed us especially was the fresh and pleasant smell — everything felt cozy, comfortable, and carefully looked after. Housekeeping is doing an excellent job, and cleanliness is clearly a top priority here. Breakfast was delicious and enjoyable, with fresh and tasty food that gave us a great start to each day. We truly looked forward to breakfast every morning. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the reception team. The girls and boys at the front desk are not only friendly, but also highly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. We would like to give special thanks to Nini (妮妮). From the very beginning, she helped us with a serious personal issue during our stay. We faced a big problem, and thanks to her patience, responsibility, and sincere desire to help, she supported us step by step and even helped us get our money back. This level of care is far beyond standard hotel service. She proved that the reception team here is not just present for formalities — they truly help guests solve real and important problems. We are deeply grateful to her. The entire reception team always tried to accommodate our requests in every possible way, making sure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. Their attitude made us feel truly cared for. Another lovely detail was the availability of bath salt, which made our evenings especially relaxing after a long day. Small thoughtful touches like this make a big difference. We traveled as a couple and spent our time here almost like a honeymoon. It was a romantic, peaceful, and joyful experience. We rested deeply, felt refreshed, and were completely satisfied with the hotel, the service, and the whole team. We are extremely happy with our stay and can confidently say that we will definitely return. No restaurants, stores or malls within a walkable distance. 2. Hallway carpets are dirty and gross 3. See through toilets/bathroom so no privacy 4. Walk very far to the dryer room (they have 2 buildings) 5. Too many cabinets (send more like a hihi I see dormitory or short term rental than a hotel 6. Very tight space in bathroom and toilet as spaces used up for cabinets 7. Breakfast an additional RMB41 - the most expensive so far 8. Sewage smell from hallway in first floor

Free shuttle bus from pudong airport really is a big plus! Took about 10-15mins to get to hotel from airport, v fast, perfect for layover. Room was pretty big, basic amenities all available. We ordered food delivery and there was a robot that sent them up to us haha super cool! Cleanliness could be better I feel, some hair was on the towel ＞＜ breakfast option was not a lot but I enjoyed the noodles and dumplings

Our stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport was truly a pleasant surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the front desk team. The service was professional, efficient, and genuinely friendly. We would especially like to thank Yves, who went above and beyond to assist us. He was proactive, attentive, and made the entire check-in process smooth and comfortable for both me and my husband. His positive attitude really made a difference in our overall experience. The hotel itself feels very new and well-maintained. The facilities are modern, the rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, and everything feels fresh and comfortable. Housekeeping was also excellent—responsive, thorough, and courteous. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely choose this hotel again when traveling near Pudong Airport. Highly recommended.
