A Surprising and Rejuvenating Journey I was immediately smitten with the Meihao Li Zhi Hotel upon my first stay. The experience was flawless! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was enveloped in a subtle fragrance that was calming and natural. The “fragrant” atmosphere permeated everything, from the public areas to the rooms. Even the toiletries had the same scent. It was an olfactory cure. The room facilities are fantastic. The smart voice control for lighting and curtains is incredibly convenient. The bedding on the 2-meter-wide bed is soft and skin-friendly. The bathroom, with its separation of wet and dry areas, features a smart toilet. The free laundry room and gym equipment are newly installed and fully equipped. All needs for business trips and travel are met. The environment is even more impressive, with a blend of Eastern aesthetics and modern luxury, featuring bamboo and wood elements that add a touch of tranquility and sophistication. The public areas are clean and well-organized, and the room’s soundproofing is excellent, allowing guests to feel completely at ease. The hygiene standards were impeccable, the floors were spotless, the bedding was pristine and odor-free, even the corners and drainpipes were clean and free of any nooks or crannies. Walking barefoot felt safe. The service was even more heartwarming; the customer service manager, Xiao Qiu, recommended nearby restaurants, responded to requests 24 hours a day, and showed great attention to detail. What was particularly fortunate was that, upon check-in, we received a complimentary gift from the hotel. Upon checking out, we discovered that some forgotten items had been carefully preserved. This unexpected joy made our journey even more fulfilling. From the facilities to the services, from hygiene to the ambiance, every aspect showcases thoughtful attention to detail. It’s definitely the top choice for future trips! A very lucky trip. I’ll come back next time and highly recommend it.

Location： Superb。 At city center. Less than 100m to the subway. Easy to get around. There are plenty of food around. Close to several shopping mall. Cleanliness: Good. Service: front desk is helpful and friendly. Overall experience is excellent. Kids love it. We took the executive twin room. Room is large. Will definately come back and stay in this hotel again. Highly recommended.

We are a retirees from Canada. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is ideal for visiting the Nantou ancient city. The surrounding area has nice shops and many places to eat. The laundry facilities are clean and the machines are modern and powerful. There is no cost to do laundry. The gym only has an elliptical, treadmill, rowing machine, a slanted bench and a yoga mat. There are no free weights or kettlebell - those would make a nice addition. I will note that the rowing machine needs some cleaning and lubrication. The staff at the desk, the housekeeping staff, and the kitchen staff were all helpful and friendly. The hotel has a couple of grey cats that spend most of their time in a large enclosure near the package reception. However one like to wander and is sometimes kept me company in the gym and laundry area.

Location is superb, very convenient to all locations regardless of food or sight seeing locations . Hotel staff was also very helpful, patient, we ask the staff 小业 to help us book the river cruise, he made the reservation, collected the tickets and even help us make the payment first, it was so easy for us. He’s really very helpful, always following-up promptly on our requests, lucky that we met him. Very happy with the stay

+ great view of the river and the tower (be careful when choosing the room, many options on the website) + the hotel is on the ”vintage” side but some floors were renovated so, once again, careful when choosing the room. We had the Shengmei Canton Tower View Double Bed Room and it was great, situated on the 13/14th floors with a great view + big room, well equipped. + good location near transport, the river and the Opera neighborhood. + great and helpful staff. +/- the breakfast is OK ,not great, not terrible.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Originally, I booked a room without a window and did not notice this when making the reservation. The staff kindly upgraded my room for free, which I really appreciated. However, the upgraded room had a small issue — the ventilation in the bathroom was not working. After we mentioned it, the staff quickly helped us change the room, which was great service. The room itself is quite small and there is not a lot of space, but for two people it was still comfortable enough. One thing I did not like was the door design for the bathroom and shower. It is a single sliding door that works for both spaces, so when you close the shower, the toilet opens, and vice versa. Another thing that was not very comfortable is that the walls between the shower and the toilet are transparent. Breakfast is quite simple. If you are expecting a European-style breakfast, it may not be the best option. We were not able to get coffee. My breakfast was basically eggs, corn, and broccoli, and the overall selection was quite limited. The reception area, which also works as a bar where beer is sold, is very stylish. The design of the reception space is really impressive, and for the style of the place I would give the highest rating.
