A smart boutique hotel with great location. Walking distance to the shopping district and Hanok Village. Lots of shops and convenience stores nearby too. 10/15 minutes from the train station and costs only KRW8,000
The hotel is new and smart/stylish. Not much facilities but comfortable and welcoming. Perfect as a base to explore beautiful and laid back Jeonju
Rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. I had booked the standard room that didn’t have much of a view. When Tom Kim, the front desk manger overheard that I would be staying for 3 nights and wished for a view, he immediately asked his lovely colleague (Jinny Kim) who was checking me in to upgrade me to a room with higher floor and view. It was also slightly bigger I think. Both of them showed such warmth and kindness. This made my holiday so much more comfortable and happy. I will come back for sure and book the deluxe room for sure.
The walls of the rooms are quite thin tho so I could hear my next door guests and one night has a crying kid at 4am 🥲
The owner was very kind and friendly! My friends and I arrived an hour early than the check in time and as soon as he saw us, he checked us in. The breakfast was korean style breakfast with rice cakes and black sesame porridge (and free!). And when we were leaving he helped us get a cab to fit our lots and lots of luggage.
We had a great stay at Lahan Hotel Jeonju! The room was comfy with a nice view of the Hanok Village from both the room and rooftop. The water closet was super nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect — easy to find, walkable and accessible to the Hanok Village and all the fun spots around. It’s also close to many good restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here again when we visit Jeonju!
A nice little boutique Hotel in a neighborhood with quite a bit of love hotels. The stay was great and wasn't bothered by all the other hotels around. Lots of restaurants near by and again transit readily accessible all around a great place to stay.

LLunalaI had the most beautiful stay at One Madison in Jeonju — truly unforgettable.
This hotel perfectly blends modern comfort with the elegance of a traditional Korean hanok. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was stepping into a peaceful, aesthetic dream. The architecture preserves the authentic hanok charm, but everything inside feels luxurious and thoughtfully designed.
One of my favorite parts was the traditional-style bathtub inspired by classic hanok design — it made the whole experience feel even more special and unique. Taking a bath there felt like traveling back in time, but with all the modern comfort you could possibly want.
The atmosphere is calm, intimate, and incredibly photogenic. Every corner of the hotel is beautifully curated. The details, the lighting, the textures — everything feels intentional and harmonious.
If you’re visiting Jeonju and want a stay that feels cultural, elegant, and cozy at the same time, this is absolutely the place. I fell in love with it and would 100% stay here again.
Highly recommended. 💛

VVieraskäyttäjäThe place had a cozy, homey vibe that made me feel right at ease. From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us warmly with his charming eye smile and was always eager to help. The room was great, featuring a TV, a mini fridge and a spacious bathroom stocked with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste and toothbrushes.
We visited during winter and the room was wonderfully warm, creating the perfect retreat from the cold. We even had the opportunity to prepare our own breakfast - eggs, bread, butter, jam, coffee and milk. To top it off, I did my laundry there, which was incredibly convenient.
The owner went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He’s genuinely one of the kindest Koreans I’ve met during my trip. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I absolutely fell in love with this place. I would definitely return!
Sir, this is me, your guest from the Philippines. Thank you so much for accommodating us! Take care always!
VVieraskäyttäjäVery surprised by the outstanding customer service. The front desk staff went the extra mile to help me with challenging tasks. I arrived without my business cards and needed to find a way to print them the same day. I also had to print quite a few large documents, and they helped me as a courtesy. I definitely recommend this hotel for business travelers.
MMJ CooperReally nice and modern guesthouse. Clean rooms in general, (dormrooms available with 4 beds) electric socket and light at the bed and room for the bags and luggage at the end of the bed.
Shared bathroom with multiple showers and hairdryer provided as well.
Breakfast in the morning is available free of charge.
This includes toasted bread, with butter and marmelade. Eggs and cheese as well as 2 different kinds of cereal.
You can also choose between to juices (orange and grape)
Unfortunately the kitchen is not usuable for cooking or preparing any kind of food on the stove.
There are a microwave and a fridge to use.
I really recommend this guesthouse for short stays or longer stays.
VVieraskäyttäjäWe have stayed here before. We did have a bit of difficulty getting the tv to work (not sure which buttons to push) but it worked after a few minutes of trial and error. The lighting is too dim for reading in the room at night. A good firm bed which gave us a good sleep. Once again we enjoyed the French Toast for breakfast - with sunnyside up fried egg, small salad and extra bits on the plate, beautifully placed on the plate. A good start to the day.
VVieraskäyttäjäFor the price, this hotel is perfect and I honestly don’t know how they are even making a profit. The rooms were clean and spacious enough to fit 3 people. I liked that there was a sink and a sofa near the windows. Its going to be a drive several blocks down to the hanok village but taxi fares are very cheap compared to the US. Expect maybe like 6000 krw to the hanok village from the hotel. The restaurant (현대옥) across the hotel serves jeonju bean sprouts soup and that is really really good. All in all, this is no ritz carlton but its 1/20 price and it really is much much much better than the low cost hotels u would expect in the US.
VVieraskäyttäjäEverything was good compared to the its price.
The only thing I wanna mention is breakfast. The hotel offers breakfast option for 15,000KRW. But the quality or the selection of menu were not appropriate for the price. There was only very limited foods option poached egg, scrambled egg, steamed dumplings, sausages, bacon, steamed rice, korean seaweed soup, 5 Korean side dishes(like as kimchi), only white toast, dinner bread, croissants, x3 different juices and milk.
You may be disappointed with this.
Otherwise everything satisfied my needs
I have willing to stay again.
This stat changed my perception of IBIS hotel chain.
