I had a soothing and comfortable short stay at 山隅一舍. The staff was very personable, accommodating, and kind, proactively offering tea/coffee and prepared fruit. The room was clean and had a great view of the courtyard. At check-in, she even offered to upgrade the two-bed room I had booked to a room with a single larger bed but I was happy to stay in the original room as it was already prepared. I stillfound it to be a very thoughtful offer. The beds were also equipped with heating mats, which offered great sleep in the winter weather. The neighbors have some roosters that rise early, but I found it quite charming and fitting for the “out of the big city” ambiance. I could honestly just sit in the courtyard all day watching the cat and the fish. It was truly a tranquil oasis in a town that sees many domestic and international tourists. The breakfast also tasted clean, fresh, and was promptly prepared by the host when I woke up. She was also happy to offer recommendations to both myself and other guests (I even overheard her going the extra mile, offering to pickup pastries for the other guests to try at their request). The B&B is situated very close to the ancient town without being overwhelming, which although quite commercialized, is still a fun stroll since it’s nearby. The location is also a short DiDi ride away from many sights along Erhai Lake. Dali is full of independently-run accommodations and shops like this, but this one stood out for its great hospitality and soothing environment. The cost performance was also great. A hidden gem for sure!

Un endroit parfait pour visiter Kunming, faire des balades en scooter électrique, loin des grands immeubles et proche du lac, du village des ethnies et de bons restaurants. Notre chambre, avec balcon privatif, était parfaite. Nous avons également apprécié la courette intérieure pour prendre le petit déjeuner et déguster du thé. I’ve just returned to my home country, and I’m already missing my stay at Aromatic Hotel! The location is perfect—nestled right at the foot of Yulong Mountain, where you can witness the breathtaking golden sunrise every morning. The hospitality at Aromatic Hotel is exceptional. Even before our arrival, they contacted us with helpful details about check-in and provided valuable information about Yuhu Village. As female travelers, we truly appreciated how attentive, caring, and thoughtful they were throughout our stay. The most amazing surprise was the room upgrade! They gave us a spacious room with stunning mountain views. It was warm and cozy, thanks to the staff who made sure the heater was on before we arrived. The bed and pillows were incredibly fluffy, and we had the most restful sleep. A special highlight of the hotel was the adorable cats and kittens—they added such a charming and homely touch to the experience. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend staying at Aromatic Hotel. With its amazing location, thoughtful hospitality, and cozy atmosphere, it’s truly an unforgettable place to stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the Lijiang Shanhai Villa Resort Hotel was absolutely exceptional! We were greeted with breathtaking views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from our room, making every moment a visual delight. The hotel is located in a secluded and quiet neighborhood, perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. The highlight of our stay was the outstanding service provided by the lady at check-in (Xiao Mei). She was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Not only did she assist us with our needs, but she also drove us to Lijiang town to explore the local night market, where we savored delicious local delicacies. On the way, she even stopped at the stunning Lijiang Cherry Blossom Avenue for us to capture some beautiful photos. Overall, the hospitality we received was top-notch, and we left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat with exceptional service!

An absolutely superb stay at Andi Holiday inn! Just everything as how it has described online, great details, super super clean, and very thoughtfully prepared things like frizzy bath capsule, dyson hair dryer, chocolates, smart toilet with bidet. Super spacious room, as Anna has upgraded us to the biggest room, which has a sky roof! They will clean up the room, and provide all the fresh towels in your stay, which not many private inns does that. We are also very appreciative with the big courtyard at level 4 rooftop. Allowing us to have a peaceful environment for a takeaway meal and a good chat! Anna was amazingly helpful, provide us lots of informative stuffs for the trip, like where to to or how to reach, saved us bunch of time in the trip. She’s accommodating too, knowing that we will to wake up early for a tour, prepared the breakfast early for us. My parents are very grateful for her hospitality! Thanks for Anna and her amazing inn, we enjoyed our trip so much, and created lots of wonderful memories with my family. Thank you Anna and all the other staffs there! If there will be another time for me re-visit Lijiang, this will be my first choice! Will definitely recommend anyone wants to visit Lijiang!!

Stayed here for 2 nights in January and will recommend this place. The good: - Very friendly and helpful host! - Spacious and well equipped with amenities - Sea view (direct view for sunset, 日照金山 golden mountain for sunrise) - toilet bowl was not automated/heated but a disposable seat cover was provided so it doesnt feel cold - homemade noodles soup by the host - friendly dog & cat - safe as there is a security post at the entrance of the area - no issues with ******* deliveries - 4 bottles of water provided daily - bath robes and disposable bath tub cover are provided Areas for improvement - cleanliness can be improved for the wooden area - door to toilet and shower are clear, may consider frosting the doors for better privacy I will definitely book this place again for my next trip to Dali.

I have only good things to say about my stay here at Liaofan Lakeview Inn. The host is so helpful and provided recommendations on where to eat and travel on my itinerary. He also provided guides and tips on how to travel around the Erhai Lake. The view from our accommodations was also facing the Erhai Lake directly, as per the photo guides while booking. 10 out of 10 will recommend to anybody looking to stay around East side of Erhai Lake.

The hotel room is very spacious with a fabulous view of the Erhai lake from the bathtub. The lighting inside the room was very nice. The staff was nice enough to help us book a charted car to the train station for a very early in the morning departure. I would stay in this hotel for the views itself and the bathtub. The room was clean and the amenities sufficient. However, we were not satisfied with the breakfast, which was not filling enough. The common areas can be more clean as well. The rate of the room is very low compared to the space and views you get from staying the night! Overall, a good choice!
