Children under four travel for free but are not permitted a reserved seat. On Cercanías trains, children under six can travel for free without a reserved seat.
Renfe Group Fare
Renfe offers group travel discounts, with an 8% discount for groups of 4 to 9 people travelling on AVE or AVE International trains. Groups of 10 to 25 people can get up to a 50% discount on AVE, AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías trains. For groups of more than 25 people, a quote can be submitted for approval. Note that all Renfe group tickets are non-changeable. If you need to cancel, the entire booking must be cancelled according to the original ticket's terms and conditions, with an applicable fee.
