This hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. People who work there are ok. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job. The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us. The hotel is ok so you can go there and rest for even a few weeks but the area is dangerous so stay safe in the hotel. Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him.

Потрясающий новый отель с шикарном океаном и пляжной зоной. На территории полно бассейнов и развлекательных мероприятий. Персоналу отдельный респект, дружелюбный, улыбчивый! Весь день рождения пели песни и поздравляли, получили от отеля комплименты в виде украшенного номера, шампанского и тортика. Продлили еще на неделю

Amazing stay at the hotel with great amenities!
I had a fantastic time staying at this hotel in Nungwi, Zanzibar, with my friends. The hotel was very clean, which was important to me, and the pool was cleaned everyday and perfect for relaxing.
The spacious rooms made our stay even more comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax after a day of activities. The location is also perfect 3 minutes walk to to Nungwi Beach, with beautiful excursions by the sea just a short distance away. You can watch the sunset.
What truly made this stay special was the friendliness of the staff. They were incredibly helpful and friendly. They make our stay enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!! We will definitely be coming back!

This hotel was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were what really made this hotel special. They were friendly and accommodating. Vlady went above and beyond her job description on multiple occasions. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice quiet vacation.

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms.
In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎

Das My Blue Hotel ist sehr schön und sauber. Der Pool ist das absolute Highlight. Aus dem Pool aus kann man den Sonnenuntergang super genießen. Am Strand gab es immer viele freie Liegen, so dass man zu jeder Uhrzeit eine Platzauswahl hatte. Das Personal hat täglich Kokosnüsse am Strand verteilt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Essen lecker und Frisch, Abendprogramm war abwechslungsreich, ein sehr sauberes Hotel. Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen.
Die Lage sowie der Strand sind super.
Im Hotel werden Massagen angeboten zu einem guten Preis. Wir haben den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen.
Das Internet war allerdings meist schlecht. Im Zimmer kaum Empfang. Dies hat Verbesserungspotenzial.

Останавливались в Sunshine Bay Hotel всего на 2 дня — и даже за это короткое время успели по‑настоящему отдохнуть! Отель расположен в потрясающем месте: до пляжа рукой подать, вокруг зелень и тишина, при этом недалеко от интересных мест.
Персонал очень приветливый: встретили с улыбкой, быстро оформили заселение и подробно рассказали, что посмотреть поблизости. Помогли вызвать такси и дали несколько отличных советов по локальным достопримечательностям.
Номер оказался чистым и уютным — есть всё необходимое, включая кондиционер, который очень выручал в жару. Wi‑Fi работал стабильно, уборка была проведена оперативно во время нашего пребывания.
Несмотря на короткий срок пребывания, остались в полном восторге. Sunshine Bay Hotel создал идеальное настроение для нашего путешествия по Занзибару. Обязательно вернёмся сюда на более долгий срок в следующий раз!

KKati SantiAmazing stay! I wished I had found this place before my previous booking. A mistake in my arrival date forced me to look around the area to find another hotel when I found Amaan hotels. Best choice ever! Great service, location right by the beach, breakfast buffet was a feast and the rooms have all you need after a day by the beach and pool. I would definitely choose this hotel again!! Perfect for all types of travellers!!

YYour Jamaican GirlThe Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed.
The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏
The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access).
The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂
The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few.
It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach.
It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. You can thank me later❤️❤️❤️

On our last day they let us do a free late check out and have dinner and stay at the hotel till 11pm which really shows that the hotel care about their guests.
Food: The food is good. The cliff restaurant is very nice and with good dishes. Buffet is quite diverse and you have the BBQ night which is awesome. Something to improve: desserts.
Service: All the staff is very nice and friendly.
Pools: You have 3/4 different pools with 2 bars which is great to order some drinks.
Room: big rooms and very spacious. Bed sheets, towels and matress are quite old. They need to be changed.
Gym: Needs an improvement. To close it and are some fan/air conditioner. They should add some running and bike equipment.
Beach: Beautiful beach with super crystal water. Something bad is the local people that wants to sell everything at all time. But I guess that is something normal in all Zanzibar.

They could have a better animation team, such a big hotel should have beach volleyball, water polo etc every day. When we were leaving and basically going around the corner to another hotel, they charged 15 dollars, Uber was 4.

VVieraskäyttäjäHeti kun astuimme vastaanottoon, kun tarkistimme, meillä oli muistokkain oleskelu. Koko loma oli kauniisti esitetty, puhdas, ylellinen ja rauhallinen. Varasimme osittain meren näkötilan ja se oli upea kaikista pienistä yksityiskohdista sisällä yksityisveranda ulkopuolella, täydellinen rentoutua lukemalla kirjaa tai katsella veneitä kulkevat merellä. Loputon uima-allas oli lounaalla, aamiainen ja illallinen puoli buffet oli suuri valinta ja Jetty ravintola oli myös mukava lounaalle. Palvelu oli poikkeuksellinen, kaikki olivat ystävällisiä, apua ja meni ylä- ja kaukana varmistaa, että meillä oli ihana kokemus. Suosittelemme Essque Zalu Zanzibar ystäviämme ja perheemme ja odotamme vierailua uudelleen!

There is space, good food, great private beaches, 5 restaurants, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.
There were more sunbeds than guests when we stayed and towels are available poolside.
There are bars in the garden, by the beach and at the pool, which are all manned with waiters and bar staff who are happy and efficient.
The hotel has security and a private beach and the local tour sellers wait at the beach for you to engage.
If you walk straight into the sea from the resort you'll find starfish, urchins and Dory fish.
The room door we had wouldn't lock with a firm push and a couple times after the cleaners had been it was unlocked.
Overall though 9.5/10
I'd recommend for any special occasion, or for those who want to safari in Tanzania, or swim with dolphins in Mnemba.

Hotel staff is very nice and helpful.
Food in hotel restaurant is excellent, they offer different menu for lunch and dinner. Verify options for breakfast buffet, you will never feel bored for their food.
Hotel offers yoga class on the morning daily except Sunday. Family or solo can also start with a “ Good morning “. There is a swimming pool, small gym room, different ball games for visitors to chill.
Hotel is also connected with different Partners, no need to worry about the day trip prior arrival. They can plan everything for you including stone town visit, prison island , snorkelling.
We just enjoy our time during our stay.
