O Porto Santo Hotel & Spa é uma escolha excelente para quem procura descanso e tranquilidade. Apesar de ser um hotel modesto, é extremamente confortável e acolhedor. Destaco especialmente a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, que torna a experiência ainda mais agradável. E o bar de praia? Simplesmente espetacular — perfeito para aproveitar o pôr do sol com uma bebida na mão. Recomendo!

Hotel localizado dentro do Centro Comercial Plaza Madeira. Difícil achar pois a entrada é pelo Shopping (?) ou pela garagem privada em baixo do shopping. Pouca informação e difícil de entender como chegar a recepção pela garagem. Até o Waze se embaralhou para achar o hotel. Sobimos 2 ascensores e entramos em porta com campainha, corredor estrito e depois um terraço a descoberto. Daí uma porta de vidro pesada para acessar pelo lounge de eventos. Piso todo de cascalho (pedra) com rolamento difícil das malas com rodas. Apesar da maratona (jogo escape) o hotel é boutique como visual bonito e com uma café da manhã de um 5 estrelas. Se melhorassem a chegada para recepcionar os clientes como é costume nos Hotéis 5 estrela ficaria um Luxo só. o aquecimento da piscina no Terrace seria uma mais valia.
Quartos limpos e minibar ”on demand”. Gostamos até do robô que recolhe os pratos e utensílios do café.

Erittäin mukava hotelli, josta pääsee suoraan merelle. Tilava huone, erittäin leveä sänky, parveke, monipuolinen aamiainen.

we have stayed here for 5 nights and the breakfast choice was as great as we have thought after reading the reviews simply because they stick to just fixed items whereas when we stayed in 5 stars hotels in asia, there's always slight difference of options daily for breakfast. the stay was ok, I would stay it feels more like a good 4 stars than a true 5 stars

A beautiful beachfront hotel that is perfect for romantic getaways and a cheaper alternative, yet still luxury, to standard 5 star hotels. Location wise the hotel isn’t great as it’s very remote from the strip/city centre and taxi prices are not particularly cheap in Madeira. The rooms are spacious and stunning, well worth it with a great selection for the breakfast buffet and plenty of restaurants/options for dinner. A lovely love band/musician plays every night which is also great. Overall a wonderful stay with much friendly staff, however if you are looking to do much sightseeing in Madeira, this hotel is not the best option unless a significant amount is left for travel.

Hotelli on hyvällä paikalla ja varaamastamme merinäköalahuoneesta oli mukava näköala merelle. Minun on kuitenkin mainittava, että tämä hotelli ei ole neljän tähden hotelli. Koko rakennus on vanha, ja he ovat pitäneet sen vanhanaikaisessa muodossa. Kylpyamme ei ole hyvä, he eivät tarjoa edes vettä päivittäisessä palvelussa eivätkä teetä (mitä odotetaan neljän tähden hotellilta).
Hissi on vanha ja aina täynnä, ei todellakaan sovellu yksitoistakerroksiseen rakennukseen.

Cool Ronaldo/football themed hotel. Staff were excellent, rooms - modern and quiet. The hotel is about 15-20 mins walk to the city life. You get a free ticket to CR7 museum with your stay (worth €5).

VVieraskäyttäjäTolles Hotel mit eigenem Spa Bereich und schönen Natur Pools direkt neben dem Strand. Viele Touristen in dieser Region vorhanden. Ich würde raten schon bereits vor Check-In Wasser etc. einzukaufen.
Sehr empfehlenswert für den Nachtpreis von ca. 150-170€ zusammen. Mehr würde ich jedoch nicht bezahlen.

VVieraskäyttäjäOne of the main reason why I booked this 4 star hotel was that it said it had a large space gym area as mentioned before booking, so I assumed it being a 4 start Hotel it will have decent weights and machines. However, when I arrived, the gym didn’t have a pull-up bar or a cable machine, the dumbbell weights were very basic that went up to only 10 kg. That is absolutely disappointing considering this was a 4 start Hotel. To be honest the multiuse cable machine is pretty much all you need as it has everything to be exercise all your body parts! I love my pullups hence I had to find a way to do them so I found a metal gate just outside the gym in the tennis court believe it or not I used the gate frame to do my pullups (see picture). Another downfall is that it didn’t have a water fountain in the gym area. You had to go up to the reception and buy bottle of water for €2. Good luck to those who suffer from quick dehydration.
I expected the room to have a kettle which you wouldn’t think twice whether it will have it or not. But guess what? You have to pay extra to have a kettle in your room during your stay between €5 to €7. That’s just jokes, I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry!
Other than that, the staff were very friendly and the location is close to the sea, and approximately 11 minutes drive to the main city area in Funchal.
I’d say the breakfast is good, but the same time pretty standard what you would get in a 3 star hotel. I was expecting better variety. The breakfast is always the same every day. Hardly never changes. However, the dinner menu has a rotation.
Overall, I would give this place 3.5 out of 5!
I hope they can accommodate the above the next time I visit.

Gorgeous views from the lounge area, a lovely bar with entertainment at night, excellent service, lovely comfortable rooms, and a very nice pool area. We cannot fault it! The breakfast was also lovely. Would definitely stay here again!

VVieraskäyttäjäWe booked a triple room 3 beds last min with late bird price. However they gave us double room 2 beds. It's on the 1st floor just next to tennis court which is quite noisy. It's 31 degree F, no air conditioner. Only 1 tiny window can be opened for fresh air but its facing a foot path with many guests access to the indoor pool, gym...etc. Not enough privacy.
Location is ok as many small supermarkets, restaurants and bus stops near by within walking distance. Hotel facilities are good for the price.

В итоге, нашелся отель с очень просторными номерами, панорамным окном, кофе/чай, удобной ванной комнатой с биде, большим балконом. Единственные моменты: раздельная кровать для пары и слабоватый душ. Шум ночных волн на любителя:) Нам пришлось закрывать дверь на балкон, хотя и так было довольно шумно.
Сервис очень дружелюбный.
Завтрак вкусный и свежий. Много выпечки, напитки, нарезки и горячее.
Не ожидала, что будет бесплатный трансфер до центра и обратно. Абсолютный плюс этого отеля, потому что находится он не в шаговой доступности от центра.
Виды, чистота возле отеля, свой пляж - это потрясающе.
Далее мы проживали в частном секторе и много что посмотрели на острове, но первые две ночи в Orca Praia остались в нашем сердечке💘

Walking opportunities are limited due to the steepness of the terrain but there’s a great path down to Curral do Freitas (45-60 minutes). Service was very good but the vegetarian food was not up to the standards that we expected. Good selection at breakfast but the hot breakfast is not kept warm. Nice jacuzzi and nice, small indoor pool.Certainly worth a visit but could be even better with better food as it’s a long way to the nearest restaurant. €3.35 bus from Funchal (No. 81) but check timetables carefully

Unfortunately the welcoming was not good for me as I waited for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Yes I came early before the check in time which is 2 Pm and I came at 11:50 and the front deck staff ( Eduard ) confirm to me that my room will be ready at 2 pm but till 3:10 pm only I got to my room after I esclate my issue to the front deck manager ( Peter ), the problem was not about the time I lost, but the attitude of front deck staff as he is looking to my face multiple times and he didn’t come to say sorry that your room not yet ready just to apologizing…

SsfoxonA lovely Hotel, with a high level of service and a great restaurant an amenities. The location is only good for those willing to taxi or drive to Funchal- otherwise it is a 30-35minite walk, allow more time for the way back all uphill.
The decor of the rooms is dated- very 1990s in style, the carpet is wearing thin in places. The pool side area is nice but could benefit from a modernization to make the decor match the level of service.
Can't fault the stay otherwise.
Shout out to Sandra, the Maitre 'd, D for her amazing level of service. Obregado!

VVieraskäyttäjäThe staff is friendly, the room is a good size and everything was clean. The room has a mini fridge, slippers and robes. They also provide pool towels. There is a cleaning service everyday and they change all the towels, including the ones for the pool. The bed was not the best as it was quite hard and had a spring mattress. We enjoyed the indoor pool, the jacuzzi and sauna. We haven't tried the outdoor pool as we only spent time there in the evenings. The breakfast was good. I'd come back as it was a nice experience overall.
