I was traveling alone and the spot location was the best really had a relaxing 2 nights and the staff was so helpful and friendly specially the reception girls. I think if you want some quiet time and just be alone you should visit during the start of the year where there is lesser people around. Only one thing was the shops were a bit limited and the only bar which served alcoholic beverages was closed other than that it was all great surely will be back next time.

Second time here hehe, and it still feels just as special. Perfect escape from the busy city life. Everything about it is so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The atmosphere really helps you slow down and just enjoy the moment.
Nights can get quite dark around the resort, but honestly it adds to the whole serene vibe and wasn’t an issue for me at all. Overall, a lovely place to unwind and recharge. Would definitely come back again.

We enjoyed the place almost at the end of the season and some services were not available, this was quite annoying as we book the place to experience all the services described.
The staff has been friendly but they could do better.
Restaurant was good even if we can only had a la carta menu as the buffet was not available.
Attached to the jetty pier.
Spa was ok, staff very kind even
I would recommend this place for relaxing couple trip

Yleensä tämä paikka on niin paljon potentiaalia. Camping ympäristö on niin rauhallinen ja kutsuva. Istana (palatsi) muuttunut huoneiksi antoi kampanjan elämäntapa tunteita. Vain kävelymatkan rantaan ja maisema koko lomakkeen on rauhallinen. Kuitenkin, ehdottaa puhdistaa ja palauttaa lattian ympäri lomakkeen. Toista koko maastoa ympäri lomakkeen ja istuttaa kaikki paikalliset kukat, hedelmäpuita ja kasveja. Ja asentaa enemmän aurinkovaloja. Tämän uuden kasvohinnan koko ympäröivän, varmasti kutsuu toistuvia vieraita. Huudon myös ystävällisille henkilökunnalle. (P/S: ehdottaa investoida vuodessa bug spray jokaiseen huoneeseen myös)

Its a last minute booking and we didn't select for any package. The service is good where they wait for us during arrival and help us to carry our bags, serve light refreshments during check in and the staffs also friendly. The service that need to improve is no staff is available during not peak hours, the call is not answered and the request to change the rusted kettle is being ignored.
The amenities are old and not well managed. The floor is dusted, the mirror frame in the toilet is broken, the balcony wood also broken and it can be dangerous if small kid left alone.
The food is good and the price is reasonable. We pay for the dinner buffet and its quite satisfactory.

First and foremost, the professionalism and warmth of the front desk staff were truly admirable. From the moment I walked through the door, the staff greeted me with friendly smiles and kind voices, which immediately put me at ease. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, well-organized, and without any delays.
Once I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and tidy, tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view outside the window. The attention to detail was remarkable—whether it was the neatly arranged slippers, the perfectly set air conditioning, or the welcoming tea that had been thoughtfully prepared in advance, everything reflected the resort's care and consideration for its guests.

It was a great experience at Alunan Resort.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The villa was clean, spacious, and had breathtaking views of the sea. We loved the rooftop deck for relaxing, and the snorkeling trip arranged by the resort was fantastic. The food at the restaurant was also delicious OMG we do have great time eating here with a variety of choices. Would definitely return!

Bon rapport qualité prix, avec un chalet sympa et propre malgré un lit pas du tout confortable (très dur) et une odeur d’égout qui remonte par la climatisation. Si l’on fait attraction de tout ça, la plage est super, avec accès a d’autres restaurants, aux excursions, canoë et taxi boat. Le buffet du Resort est lui aussi sympa mais n’arrivez pas trop après le début du service, le personnel est très accueillant et a l’écoute et n’hésitera pas à vous renseigner sur les plats et autres.
Petit plus pour le salon de massage, n’hésitez pas à vous y arrêter pour un massage typique malaysien excellent

I wanna give some information about the garden villa and ocean villa, garden villa is way better than ocean villa , it has private yard, it’s a little far from the lobby for more privacy and peace, but ocean villa is near the restaurant and it’s not private, the residence of gardens villa should pass by ocean villas to get to their room and it’s not even beach front, it doesn’t have private yard so the guests couldn’t open the curtains and use the view 🫣it should be half price of garden villa but it’s more expensive 😑
the toilet and bathroom doesn’t have door but has view to garden.
The stuff are great. 👍🏼
The food is the best in the island but totally is average.
Snorkeling with firus was amazing.😝
Everything is perfect, I highly recommend this villa.🫶🏻

MM.DangouI would like to sincerely thank the Marriott Resort for the wonderful hospitality and kind treatment during my stay. I was truly impressed by the resort and by all the staff. I prefer not to mention any names because I’m afraid I might forget someone, but everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the warm welcome and the beautiful arrangements prepared for our 10th wedding anniversary — it made our celebration very special. The rooms were beautiful and beyond description. God willing, this will not be my last visit. Thank you again for such a pleasant experience.
