"My biggest mistake of this trip to Yamagata is to book this hotel. It's a good hotel but it's in the middle of nowhere. You will want to stay around the city of Yamagata province which is also called Yamagata city just so you can get to famous tourist spots. However this is 4 hours away from all of these. I had to book another hotel so I can stay 1 day in the city when I wanted to visit these places and the traveling time just completely made me exhausted. It took like 1 day to go to a place and 1 day to go back. It was so terrible, I was crying. This place is closed to Shonai airport not Yamagata airport so I also had to book another flight from Shonai. I wasted so much money for transportation. It was such a terrible experience. However the hotel is incredibly beautiful with smart design in everything. I loved the onsen very much. If it was just a vacation/restcation for relaxing purpose or isolate yourself from the human word, it's the best choice for you. Since its in the middle of the endless rice field, there is nothing to eat except for paying very high price to eat at the hotel's restaurant. And the food was just okay. The beauty of this hotel was like a trap. Its like I was blind from its beauty and couldn't see all other disavantages."

"This is a very nice hotel. Loved every corner of it. A bit old. But the service and location makes it a nice place to stay. Near shinjo station by bus 20 minutes. It’s a good place to stay if you are going to ginzan onsen. They have shuttle bus to shinjo station from the hotel. They have izakaya inside of the hotel. Staff is great and helpful. We totally recommend it to stay. Awesome views"

"とても立地がよくサービスも充実したホテルだと思います。が山形駅から徒歩20〜30分はかかるので歩くのしんどい人はタクシーをお勧めします。 観光しながら街ブラして〜ってやってたらあっという間に着くぐらいの距離なのでそこは心配なく。 後一階に温泉があり夜の時間が0時までなので夜風呂入りたい人は帰ってくる時間によっては入り損ねる可能性が少しだけあります。もちろん部屋にいつものシャワールームやバスタブがあるのでそこで洗うことも可能です。 加えて朝風呂は6時〜10時までなのでゆっくり入っても問題ないです。温泉もあるのでまた行きたいと思えるとてもいいホテルでした。また一階にローソンもあるので食事を買いつつ部屋でくつろぐなんてこともできます。"

"設施比較懷舊。員工服務很好。我晚了40分鐘check in，還是好熱情地招待我並上菜。服務時看我不會日文，細心用translate翻譯成了英文。溫泉非常舒服，客人很少地方很夠，非常寫意。裡面挺多有意思的小活動，但我最想用的都休止了或沒提供，包括岩盤浴和咖啡機。小後花院有點意思但太小了。不過櫻花開始開了，很開心。"

"료칸이 하고싶어서 큰맘먹고 개인탕있는 곳으로 예약했어요!! 센다이 특성상 다 먼 거리인거같아 차를 렌트해서 갔어요 생각보다 너무 친절하시고 시설이 너무 좋아요 공용탕도 있고 무엇보다 조식 석식 너무 맛있게 먹었어요 매일 다른 메뉴가 나와서 먹는 재미도 있었어요 한국인 후기가 별로 없어서 걱정했는데 기대이상이였어요!!"
