Yövyin täällä yliopistokaverini luona.
Paikka oli erittäin siisti ja henkilökunta oli uskomattoman kohteliasta. Olin hieman huolissani turvallisuudesta, mutta jokaiseen kerrokseen tarvittiin elektroninen avain, ja tietenkin huoneessakin oli avain, joten tunsin oloni mukavaksi.
Myös pääsy oli erinomainen, sillä kaksi bussipysäkkiä oli vain viiden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Se oli myös hyvin lähellä baarien reunustamaa katua, mikä teki siitä erittäin kätevän illalla drinkille menemisen.
Matkamuistomyymälöiden reunustama katu oli myös lähellä, ja turistinähtävyys Hallgrímskirkja oli vain noin 15 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä.
Haluan kiittää naispuolista avustajaa, joka antoi minulle islantilaisen musiikin suosituksen. Pidin erityisesti Björkin Jógasta ja monista Ólafur Arnaldsin kappaleista. Arvostan todella vieraanvaraisuuttanne!

We are here as tourist. The hotel is not at downtown. We took bus to travel around. The bus system is convenient. Though the hotel belongs to a high class hotel group but the room quite basic. No amenities are provided. Not much eateries or shops are around the area. Hence we took bus to those places. The hotel lobby is nice.

Hvammsvik Nature Resort sijaitsee rannalla ja Thingvellirin kansallispuisto on 38,5 kilometrin päässä. Tämä rannalla sijaitseva lomakeskus sijaitsee kohteiden Glymur-vesiputous ja Harpa alueella.
Voit rentoutua ja hemmotella itseäsi palveluihin kuuluvassa täyden palvelun kylpylässä. Paikan päällä on lisäksi kuumia lähteitä, ulkouima-allas sekä poreallas. Tämän lomakeskuksen palveluihin kuuluu muun muassa ilmainen langaton internetyhteys, yhteinen olohuone ja piknikalue.
Lomakeskus tarjoaa asiakkailleen huonepalvelun (rajoitettuina aikoina). Maksullinen itsepalvelu tarjotaan päivittäin klo 10.30–13.00.
Käytössäsi on express-uloskirjautuminen, kielitaitoinen henkilökunta ja pyykinpesutilat. Palveluihin kuuluu ilmainen pysäköinti.

Hotel is very clean, location is superb, all amenities within short walking distance, free parking for those who drive and for those who dont city tour bus stops in front of the hotel. Spa facilities are lovely. Would recommend booking option with breakfast as food is pricy in Reykjavik. We went in group of 7, 4 rooms. Only downside was that not all the rooms are hot, some are warm and other hot despite radiators being opened on full. Would highly recommend staying there. Clean, modern and perfectly located hotel

Really good location, near the city centre area and the service is awesome. Super friendly service staff and bar tender. Hotel looks great and the rooms are clean.
Just take note some of their rooms at the top floor has the constraints of the roof where the ceiling is slanted, you may knock your head like i did. And the lighting can be quite dim. Other than that, great room great hotel great place.

Everything is good except two things:
1. The shower area is too dark and small (only 2.5'x2.5' a small square). See picture below. Luckily my husband and I are small guys! Their photo on the website is a bit tricky! as I usually check the outlook of washroom before I book a hotel. I was so disappointed and frustrated at that time honestly.
2. No self service laundry in the hotel as it is very common nowadays. The price list of serviced laundry seems too expensive as they still charge based on your pieces.
Lastly, I stayed there for 5 nights and quite a few hotels would offer an upgrade or special promotion like a free use of spa etc. Anyway, I didn't expect too much and made me feel better.

The hotel has a great flair. Modern and traditional at the same time. Location is great close to the old city center and the harbor. People are very friendly and helpful. Only finding a parking spot and the way to the hotel was a bit confusing. Hotel entrance doesn’t carry a sign or letters with the hotel name.

It was all overall good. Friendly front office, clean and spacious room, toilet and shower room was small but it was sufficient for my use. Bus stop is 5 minutes walking distance away , US embassy as well (no use , simply mentioned though). Football stadium and sports exhibition hall is 7 minutes away.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.
The location was perfect, close to
everything making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning.
What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

AayanamisloverThe location of the hotel is great, right in the city centre. The bed in the room was large 1.3m wide unlike other hotels which are only a metre wide. The service at the front desk was also quite good. The only drawback is that the spa centre closes too early, at 19:30, unlike other hotels that open late.
