A budget version of other Taj hotels.
The first thing that strikes you is the reception desk is high, so you're forced to stand while checking in, whereas in other 5* hotels, there are seats on either side of a desk.
Then there's no porter service, so you're meant to carry your own luggage to your room.
The room itself is serviceable, and not up to the Taj mark. One of the closet doors had a loose hinge whose pin fell off. The part of the toilet bowl under water had a permanent yellow film. The hair dryer was a compact one that only had the heat option without cold air drying.
That said, the service was quick, efficient and with a smile. The food was good, both breakfast and room service.
If you know to expect a marked down experience at a lower cost than its more famous siblings in Chennai, then it's a good bet.

We would like to thank all the restaurant staff in particular the restaurant manager SK Allarakha for making every morning as a start of a pleasant day with all the courteous services extended to us by him and his lovely team..This has prompted my family to celebrate my 60th birthday in the morning of 16/1/2026 before their departure for flight.Thank you for a great and courteous service shown to my family and i.We will definitely choose to stay at the TRT again the next time around. Просторный, чистый номер, внимание в мелочах к постояльцам. Территорию отеля вечером обрабатывают от насекомых. Очень вежливый гостеприимный персонал. Есть обмен валюты. Свободный доступ к бассейну, разнообразное меню на завтрак. За всё пребывание в Индии в 4-х городах из 4-х отелей этот самый лучший. Однозначно рекомендую этот отель.
Très bon hôtel de type colonial vieillot avec beaucoup de charme.
Bien sûr il n’est plus dans le coup sur quelques détails comme l’information inexistante (horaires, menus resto, room service, cours de yoga )
Le resto le soir est en buffet pas mal mais ferme tôt.

HHonser TanMy initial stay at this newly launched hotel was excellent. The modern facilities were in perfect working order, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a promising start that convinced me to return.
Unfortunately, my second stay was profoundly disappointing and raised several concerns. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor. While I appreciate the staff promptly moving me to a second room, it only partially resolved the issue, as a faint strange smell persisted.
The second room had multiple functional problems:
* Non-Functional Power:** The USB ports and power sockets on the wall faulty.
* Inconsistent Hot Water:** The water heater took an excessively long time to heat up, disrupting my routine.
* Purify water contamination:** There's particles and oil from the purify water. It seems contamination from central filter.
Most alarmingly, at approximately 6 AM one morning, a **very loud alarm sounded from the door area.** This was highly disruptive and concerning, as it was unclear whether it was a security breach alarm or a triggered fire alarm. The lack of any immediate information or follow-up from the hotel staff regarding this incident left me feeling unsettled and concerned about the emergency protocols.
While the front desk staff were helpful in changing my room, the combination of maintenance failures and a confusing safety alarm indicates a significant lapse in operational standards. For a new hotel, this is troubling. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure the safety and comfort of all future guests.

SSuresh MuruganWe stayed at this resort last weekend, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. Based on my stay, I have highlighted several positive aspects and a few areas for improvement.
Positive Points
• The resort has an excellent atmosphere, spread over nearly 1 km with lush greenery throughout. The internal roads are well-connected and well-maintained.
• More than 10 shuttle services operate within the resort, making it very convenient to travel between different areas. Shuttle service is available right at your doorstep at any time, which is a major advantage.
• The swimming pools for both children and adults are spacious and well-maintained. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
• The children’s indoor play area is clean and well-organized — ideal for kids under 5 years old.
• The rain dance and bullock cart ride experiences were fantastic.
• The spa service was very good and relaxing.
• The restaurants served delicious food, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of tasty options.
Areas for Improvement
• The rooms are slightly dated. When we first entered, there was a mild odor, but housekeeping responded promptly and freshened up the room. The bathroom tap was loose, but maintenance staff attended to it immediately and resolved the issue efficiently.
• The spa reception could be a bit more responsive.
Overall, we had a great experience, and my kids thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay. I would definitely recommend this resort to others

MMalik_ExplorerThe hotel is actually getting outdated with boring interior with fading colors and stripping off hard materials, they should do something about getting rid of birds that pooping on windows and unpleasant views. Exterior obviously can see lots of cracks all over building. Fayaz the front desk guy check in dunno how to smile when welcoming customers. You are saying it’s luxury collection hotel but something you have to work on it. Otherwise competitor will take over.

So, we were told drop outside the hotel making us walk up the slope and walk to the hotel.
We stay in the hotel for 7 nights and breakfast menu never got changed for 7 days!!! We can understand the normal fruits, bread and normal breakfast range is there but not the chicken curry throughout the 7 days. I am sure the chef can change the style of the chicken from curry to other varieties.
No complaints in terms service best we can ask for.

To say that I was mistaken would be an understatement. The room is top class, the amenities provided are very good. The food options are plenty and cater to multiple taste buds. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.The Manager , Chef, and Waiter presents a professional and polished image that contributes to the overall dining experience. Manager Selvakumar was always seen talking to guests getting feedbacks and reassuring to our needs. Exclusively the restaurant has a big wooden cart with a young boy serving boiling coffee and tea.
Overall the hotel's attention to commitment to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my stay. This hotel is in the city and convenient location to all local amenities I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience.”
