I’ve stayed in the Grand Pacific a few times over the years. Great service (though wanting to carry my laptop bag is over the top), excellent breakfast (Chinese and western), the pool is good, the gym okay but equipment dated. Best hotel in Yuyao for foreign visitors if you can’t speak any Chinese.

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

A wonderful hotel which has a traditional feel. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. All spoke English well which makes it easy to check in. Rooms are a good size and very clean. I love staying here, the feel of this hotel is lovely.

I was initially sceptical when I read over 5,000 positive reviews on this hotel, as many of them had been upgraded. However, we truly had a great time. The facility is amazing, and we stayed in building 8, which is closed to the dining area. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. The dinner buffet costs RMB 138 on weekdays and 158 on weekends. The food was great, and there was a lot of seafood to choose from. The hotel is quite close to tourist attractions, but be aware that taxis can be quite expensive. They can cost RMB 50 or more compared to the DIDI taxi . So, it’s best to order a taxi via DIDI or online rather than catching one on the street or in front of the hotel. One place you must visit is Xu Shui Ancient City, which is the most well-documented museum in Shaoxing. It’s a walking distance away and free to visit.  All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We extended three nights more , and will definitely stay this hotel in the future.

Shangari-La is an outstanding name. My overall stay was good. However, I was disappointed at the breakfast open buffet, which was very limited to a small portions of food compared to a 5 Diamond hotel. Also the staff was not trained well at the restaurant to handle international customers.

Location is perfect. Close to Wenzhounan station with bullet train, light rail and long distance coach under one roof. From hotel 2nd floor there is an exit that leads to the skybridge that is connected to wenzhounan. Just look for the giant figurines. From wenzhounan look for the sign ”hotels” that leads to the skybridge. Didi to hotel cost less than 20 rmb. Pls note there is a designated pick up for online car hailing service. Different floor from normal taxi. No handsoap provided. Breakfast is great. Room is big.

It was a pleasantly surprising time at Pullman Haining. The rooms were comfortable and you can do your own laundry if needed. The service was great, especially Dodo from front desk who assisted us on several things. We had a nice time as a family and would definitely consider staying again. The environment was peaceful and quiet, perfect if you want some down time from the busy cities in China.

Absolutely love this hotel. Originally I was booked in elsewhere but quickly found out it was unsuitable. So a quick check online here soon resolved it. Best choice I’ve made. Staff is friendly, it’s clean. The beds are so comfortable. The room very modern. Lots of amenities within the hotel. I will definitely book here again

It is a lovely hotel. Hotel grounds allow you to view West Lake without the crowds. You can see 苏提and 雷峰塔 across the waters. I only had tea at the coffee house. The price is the same as the tea houses beside the lake. Great view comes with great prices. You gotta be careful if you ar booking it during weekends or holidays as didi don’t come in. Only taxis. Also, for some reason there were loud music and voices throughout the night, like some event was going on nearby. Either that or someone is watching tv very loudly.

Hotelli on uusi, puhdas, iso ja hyvin järjestetty. Huoneita on tilaa ja mukava näkymä yläkerrasta. Henkilöstö on erittäin hyödyllinen ja ratkaisee ongelmia. Aamiainen on laaja valinta. Hinta ei ole suuri ero pienen hotellin tässä kaupungissa. Hyvin suositeltu.
