Location is good, many shops and restaurants at a walking distance. Room was spacious and nice. Temperature was OK. Breakfast was mostly Local Chinese , almost nothing like a western style. Generally the staff was nice even if they speak a very little English but they try to manage it.

My stay at Shangri-La Hotel Dalian was pure joy! 🏨 The room was super comfy, a cozy haven for unwinding after adventures. 😴 The food was mouthwatering with every dish bursting with flavor! 🍽️ The gym was top notch, perfect for a solid workout. 💪 The hotel’s own gorgeous park next to the café area was a serene gem with stunning scenery that made morning strolls magical. 🌳☕ Highly recommend this luxurious escape for anyone exploring Dalian, it’s a traveler’s dream! 🌍 #ShangriLaDalian #TravelInspo

Lovely experience. The staff were helpful, I arrived early and they managed to give me a room. The breakfast spread is amazing! It’s right in front of the subway station and I could walk to the theatre opposite, which worked out really well as I was there to attend a concert. There was even a little rooftop garden at the restaurant level. Didn’t have time to use the amazing fitness facilities. Would love to stay again.

Incredible stay at this beautiful hotel! From the moment we checked in the service was impecable. Lena made us feel at home and took care of every detail to make our stay pleasant. Our children enjoyed the pool and play area. The suite was very comfortable and the staff left some sweets, toiletries and slippers for the kids. Lena helped us with our dinner options and even helped us with translation at the restaurant. She was there for our checkout as well and even accompanied us to our taxi. We were very impressed with the customer service and will certainly be back. Thank you!

為了看遼河，特意選了河景房，房間不大但是很舒適，空調很足，還有加濕器，水果，望遠鏡，床品很舒適，晚上有人在河邊放🎆，順着遼河溜達，空氣新鮮，看着河裡的冰凌順溜而行，河對面就是盤錦，蘆葦盪茂密。早餐非常豐富。

This hotel served more than expected . 1.The room is super huge 2. Neat and spotless 3. The breakfast was super delicious and mouth watering. 4.The staffs are super kind and speaks English really well. 5.The lobby is very fantastic. 6.The spa was fantastic and worth to try. 7. Location is SUPERB 8.Room services were TIP-TOP. 9. They prepare premium celebration for my anniversary. ( special request) 1000000/10 NEW WORLD DALIAN IS WORTH FOR MONEY!♡ Surely will be back.

Great location, across from Zhongshan square and 15 minutes walk to Russia street. The marina is a short 10-15 mini taxi ride. This hotel is like an old style China hotel, it’s kind of grand and is kept in relatively good condition, but it is dated with dark wood furniture and not in keeping with the high expectation of an InterContinental, especially compared with other cities. Also, there is a weird smell in the room, and the breakfast spread is limited, even in the club lounge. Also, there was no acknowledgment of my milestone birthday, which was disappointing. On the positive, the executive room is a nice size, bathroom is huge, shower is powerful, the condition is ok, bed and pillows are comfortable, no coffee machine, but free access to lounge with afternoon tea on both days and happy hour where food is served. The pool is large and up to 1.8m deep. The price is relatively good, so overall it was enjoyable. Thanks also to Grace who gave me a late check out and a magnet. I hope they refurbish the hotel soon, as it could be better, through it ain’t that bad ether.

We lived at this hotel in their apartments in 2001/2002, and it was interesting to come back and visit. It is perfectly located in the city and the staff are wonderful. The rooms are now older but have great views and are clean, tidy, and spacious. The breakfast buffet is extensive - Chinese, Japanese, and Western options. There's an excellent hot pot restaurant across the road!

It was an amazing hotel with high level of luxury. Friendly staff. Location is excellent next to the most luxurious mall in Shenyang, Mixc, which can be accessible from the hotel through underground. Youth park is across the street from the hotel and it's a good place for a walk. Hotel is located in a very nice and safe area.
