"Great location, right beside the lake. We weren’t aware that toilet, shower and kitchen is all shared. Cabin is super tiny that is hard to do anything else inside. We didn’t sleep that well and it was not convenient that you have to go outside for toilets in the middle of night. The campsite is nice, but with the amount of people and campvan, the utilities seem to be overloaded."

"Amazing Stay with Stunning Views! Peppers Bluewater Resort offers an incredible view of Lake Tekapo—absolutely breathtaking scenery that we truly enjoyed throughout our stay. The location is very convenient, just about a 10-minute walk to the base of the Dark Sky Project. The service was excellent. The staff thoughtfully prepared a welcome gift to celebrate our honeymoon, which made us feel warm and truly welcomed. The indoor space is fantastic: a large living room with an open kitchen, a balcony to enjoy the beautiful lake view, and a spacious bedroom and bathroom featuring both a standing shower and a bathtub. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommend Peppers Bluewater Resort for its perfect combination of stunning views, great location, and exceptional hospitality!"

"The location of the hotel is about 10 - 15 mins to the city centre. But to catch the Airport bus to the hotel, I would recommend catching the Metro Bus no 29 and should get off at the bus stop on corner of Salisbury and Colombo St. The hotel is just 2 mins walk (actually the hotel is at the traffic intersection). The room is about 20m2, clean."

"I have previously stayed in this chain of pod hotels and the one up in Auckland was fantastic and I gave a raving review. Perhaps I got these guys on a bad day but I really felt the service had dropped significantly since  my First visit a year and a half ago in Auckland.  The main concern I had was the bathroom was pretty disgusting and something that I would definitely not use. You can see the reasons why in the photos that I will post. Mainly there was here all around the place and a lot of dropped water on the floor old products just in the corner even if they were advertise as free it looked disgusting and could be done in a much clean hygienic way. Just needs a bit more quality management in this area.  perhaps I got them at the end of the weekend with low interest in maintaining clean bathrooms but this was just not good. My second gripe or concern was that inside the pod the electronics of the light and fan were not visible and I took at least 15 minutes to figure out how to actually turn on off the lights and this was only done eventually by accident by me accidentally touching the panel as the back light of the panel was not functioning therefore it was not easy to determine where to turn the light on and off. My last gripe was that the door needs to be more effectively managed because it still slamming every time someone goes in and Out likely waking everyone in the pods certainly Juan understands in this type of accommodation you have to put up with a bit of noise but this was a little bit out there at 6 am 7 am in the morning. So overall, a little disappointed, but for the price point it served its purpose."

"Location wise is good, quiet yet convenient. Our neighbour is a nice shanghai couple. But the chalet layout is not so preferable as it is in long shape, and the toilet is in the middle."

"I was a bit disappointed. I was expecting this to be a 5 star place, but there were a lot of things that were definitely not 5 stars. The robes were grey and didn't cover bigger people. One of them had pilling all over it, I didn't want to even wear it. The bathroom door squeaked loudly, so if one person got up to the toilet in the middle of the night, it woke the other person up. There were instructions on how to use the spa bath, but not on how to put the plug in. It didn't just plug in normally. We weren't able to use it on our first night which was very frustrating as it was one of our main attractions. I rang housekeeping the next day. Someone came and had a look and said that you had to turn a know on the side of the spa, how would anyone know that? The lock on the door to outside was broken and a small slide lock had been put on. Why not fix the main lock? I used the toilets to the side of the library and when I washed my hands, the tap was all loose and wobbled round. All these things are little but show that the lodge needs to have things fixed or updated. For $300 per night, you expect the best. The worse thing was on our last morning, we got to breakfast about 8:45, the restaurant closes at 9:30 am. There was continental and scrambled eggs and bacon. At about 9:00 am they stopped bringing out anymore bread to toast. No more croissants, eggs or bacon were brought out. There were about 6 tables with guests and everyone kept going up and checking, but they didn't refill. People were saying, they must have run out of food! But for some reason the waiter kept lifting the lids to the egg and bacon to see what was in there, but of course there was nothing as he hadn't refilled it and he was the only waiter!! I was really disappointed and wouldn't recommend it, unless you are getting a really good discount."

"Repeated stay, assigned room this time is not as great as our previous stay. Cleanliness of the balcony, living room and kitchen were subpar. Took out pots and plates that were not washed properly (oily, had stains) after previous use. Housekeeping came to service the room but we still found areas of mess that were untouched. Overall, still a relatively good stay."

"The room is clean and comfortable. AC and heater are all available in the room. Kitchen items are welled prepared and have a lot of varities, even up to wine decanter, wine glasses, etc. The bed is clean and comfortable also. Nice and quite neighborhood too."

"如果想感受私人車庫加小別墅，那就來定這家吧。真的是完全不一樣的體驗，完全就是租了一套房子的感覺。 由於遇到8號公路封路，我們很晚才到，按鈴後立刻響應。 這家有浴缸，可以泡澡。還有電子壁爐。格調到位。甚至有電飯煲🥰完全解決中國胃。 星空太美了！抬頭即星空。早上太陽就灑在床頭。門口就是Tekapo。推薦多住幾天。 缺點：沒有主動的打掃服務。可能需要進一步溝通後會提供該服務。"
