Stayed here for 3 nights and overall had a really positive experience. The location is super convenient, about a 5-minute walk to both the train station and MTR, which made getting around effortless. There are plenty of convenience stores right nearby. The hotel has a nice quiet vibe, which was perfect after busy days out exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself was a standout, surprisingly big and spacious by Japanese standards. It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and there was still plenty of floor space even after we opened two large suitcases (something that’s almost impossible in most other compact hotels in Japan). The only downside was the bedding. The duvet (?) was way too thick and heavy for my liking. It made the bed feel quite hot at night, and I ended up sweating a lot despite the AC. Otherwise, this place was near perfect. Would definitely recommend it to others, especially if you’re okay with cranking the AC lower. Solid choice!

Unbeatable location just opposite JR Ashahikawa and directly opposite Aeon. Room lighting is dimmed, and size is rather small with 2 single beds. Central controlled air conditioner, and the window can only be opened a small gap so can be rather stuffy. Great buffet breakfast. Overall a 4/5.

We loved staying here and the surprise upgrade we received was unexpected and much appreciated. The room was spotless and well thought out. Service was friendly, welcoming and professional. The food was fantastic with some local options and a wide range of western and Asian offerings. The price we paid was very fair for the room we stayed in and I would stay here again in a heart beat and would recommend.

Fantastic hotel nestled @ the bustling city centre of Ssukino where the prominent Nikka OOH billiboard is. The hotel is situated right above Susukino train station 🚉 & within Cocono Shopping Mall for easy access & great convenience to travel to anywhere in Sapporo. Arrived @ the perfect timing to indulge in the reowned 🇯🇵 Sapporo snow & ice festival 2026 ⛄️❄️🧊 . The place come into life @ night with iconic ice sculptures, diverse entertainment & diverse F&B options. Best thing is it’s merely 250m away from the Tanukikoji Shopping Street with countless Sapporo Beauty Stores & Don Donki. The hotel is modern, stylish & contemporary, boasting clean & comfy room for good slumber dreams 🛌 . An incredible discovery was the buffet breakfast 🍳🍞 was definitely thr best ever which we have savoured in Sapporo, with ingeniously decorated F&B offerings to feast your senses. We stayed here for 5 nites from 19-24 Dec. Highly recommended to stay here! Hop on airport bus from Haneda T1. It takes 35-40 min. 3 min easy walk direct from JR Asahikawa Station. Lawson convenient stall is right below the hotel, open from 9 am to 10 pm. Duty tax free for purchases 5000 yen and above. Many eatery around the hotel. There is food court at Aeon shopping mall. Visit Japan Tourism Center at JR Asahikawa Station - you can get help to book a tour to Biei. English speaking assistants. Visiting Zoo, Asahikawa Ramen Village, Toikwa park etc, grab a bus guide from JR Asahikawa Station. 7 min walk to the famous Tenkin izakaya bar for dinner. Reservation is recommended! There is a very beautiful park behind JR Asahikawa Station.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at La Vista Furano. Even though our room was on the 4th floor, the view was still amazing — we could see the ski slopes, and it even snowed in the morning, which made everything feel so magical. The hotel provides free parking, which is very convenient. One of the highlights was definitely the private onsen — each session is 30 minutes, and it was such a relaxing and special experience. Another lovely touch was the free ramen supper served between 10–11pm, which was perfect after a long day out. The room itself wasn’t very big, but it was well-designed. The shower, toilet, and sink areas were all separated, and everything was clean and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back again!

The hotel is conveniently located just across from the JR station, only about a one-minute walk away, which made getting around extremely easy. The reception staff were clear, attentive, and very welcoming. Check-in was swift and seamless. The buffet breakfast costs ¥2,500 per person and offers a great selection of dishes, making it a satisfying way to start the day. The fish market is just around the corner, where you can find fresh seafood, fruits, and dried scallops. I would recommend purchasing from the individual stalls outside the main market area as the prices tend to be cheaper. There is also a food court within the market if you would like to enjoy a meal there. Overall, the location is excellent, especially for those arriving by train and wanting easy access to the local market and dining options.

Love our stay there. Rooms have view of slope or nature. Just beisde Ningle Terrace and you can walk further down to the winter forest, so magical. Hotel has express bus service and private car services are conveniently bookable. The only disadvantage is it's further to the train stations. However we were able to come here directly by Ski Liner from Tomamu and leave with Lavender bus to Asahikawa, it also goes to Furano and Biei directly. Hot spring resort is so so, not much facilities and a small place. It's pity they don't provide free shuttle bus or free entry to nearby snowlands.

We stayed for 2 nights, and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is 3 mins walk to Susukino and 5 mins walk to 狸小路 with many convenient stores and restaurants around. The front desk staff helped us to check in with the check in machine and the process was fast. We like the beds and room size, and the free flow of Haskap juice throughout afternoon and evening. The drawbacks are the front desk staff have limited English and didn’t understand our request to have a cleanup in our room as we were sleeping late and missed morning cleanup. The nearest airport shuttle bus stop across from hotel abest Sapporo is 4 blocks away and we have to take a taxi around 950yen with luggages to get there in the slushy snow. There are many Thai tourists in both evenings when we went back to hotel so the hotel is quite popular and crowded. Nevertheless the hotel was able to give us a high floor room away from elevators per our request and we had a quiet room which we appreciate a lot. Will definitely consider staying again given the hotel room is a good price!

We had a good overall stay at Daiichi Takimotokan, a large traditional ryokan-style hotel. While the property is a little dated, it is well maintained and kept clean. The hotel itself offers plenty to do, including restaurants, a souvenir shop, simple arcade games, karaoke, massage services, a public onsen, and even a small reading area with Japanese books. You can easily spend time exploring the building without needing to go out. The location is very convenient. It is just outside the main (short) shopping street and within walking distance to Jigokudani, making it easy to explore the area. Our stay included breakfast and dinner buffet. Dinner had a wide variety of options, including popular sashimi selections and steamed snow crabs, along with both Japanese and Western dishes. Breakfast was a simpler spread but still satisfying. We stayed in a Japanese-style room and found the futons comfortable to sleep on. As we visited during winter, the room had central heating only. At times, we cooled the room by slightly opening the window to let in some cold air. Yukata robes are provided in the room (or you can choose one that fits you at the lobby), and you can wear them around the hotel when heading to the onsen, restaurants, or arcade. The public onsen area is spacious and features many different pools with various functions, so you can take your time and enjoy the experience. Just remember to wash yourself thoroughly at the shower stations before entering the onsen pools. Unfortunately, we did not try the outdoor onsen despite it being open — we were a little intimidated by the winter cold! Overall, we would recommend this hotel, especially for first-timers who want to experience staying in a traditional ryokan. Tip: There are direct buses to and from the hotel from New Chitose Airport and Sapporo. The bus stop is only about 50 metres from the hotel entrance, which made walking in the snow much easier for us. However, the service runs only once a day, so be sure to check the schedule and plan your itinerary accordingly.
