Лодж расположен в Марлот парке, так что без визита животных не останетесь, к нам приходили различные антилопы, зебры, бородавочники, рядом видели жирафов и мартышек, это очень круто! У нас был двухкомнатный лодж в стиле лофт всё новое и красивое. Единственное что надо иметь в виду что еду нужно привозить с собой, в лодке ничего нет и персонал очень плохо говорят и понимают по-английски. Мы были без машины и нас очень выручила менеджер которая отвезла нас до ближайшего Спара на территории Марлот парка, за что ей отдельное спасибо. Пешком идти было около часа в одну сторону. Мы были два дня считал вполне достаточно для данной локации. Обязательно нужно побывать.

Отель хороший, но у нас номер был на первом этаже с не самым лучшим видом. Были проблемы с администрацией из-за того, что нас забыли забрать на ресепшен на фултдэй сафари(( два часа простояли на ресепшен и потеряли возможность увидеть утренний променаж животных

I spent two weeks traveling in South Africa, staying in 12 lodges/hotels. This White House Lodge impressed me the most. It felt like I'd returned home many years ago. Everything was so welcoming and pleasant. Suzanne met me at the airport. Although, due to communication issues, I wasn't sure she'd be able to meet me, and I'd have to find a taxi. It was very nice to see Suzanne upon arrival holding a sign with my name. On the way to the lodge, we saw several impalas.
She organized safari in Kruger park for me both days while I was staying at the lodge. Excellent dinners, a wonderful selection of South African wine (it rivals good European wines), a lawn, a garden, a swing, and a stunning view of the valley. A very nice place and hostess.
P.S. I really wanted to see a leopard and a rhino on safari – but I ended up seeing all of the Big Five.

Очень хорошая дружеская атмосфера. Хостел предлагает несколько экскурсий, сафари. Животные приходят на территорию, я видела импалу и бородавочника. В восторге! Обязательно ещё вернусь в это место. Огромная благодарность Рене и Майре!

There are a decent restaurant and a swimming pool inside the resort, where you can do some hiking activities and go to the viewpoints for free. However, the facilities are a bit dated and needs some refurbishment and the mini market inside the resort closes at 6pm, which is sort of inconvenient for those arriving late.

VVieraskäyttäjäWe were very pleasantly surprised when we found ourselves in a house with a kitchen as we have a toddler granddaughter travelling with us and the executive room was very safe and this made it easy to sterilise bottles and prepare our own food. We went on an evening safari however our transport was late and we held up the safari crew leaving on time. When we returned from our safari we were offered a meal at spur to be delivered so we placed the order around 8.30 at night. Two hours later our meals had not arrived and we went to bed hungry and very unhappy. All the excuses under the sun were offered over these two hours. In the end we cancelled it as too late and upset to eat. Spur offered a free breakfast to make up for the calamity of the previous evening however as I booked the rate that included breakfast we declined. We placed your order for breakfast and it was delivered to the house as requested and it was beautiful. When we went to hand back the keys the lady said we needed to pay for the breakfast. I had to show her the rate that I booked included breakfast so I had already paid for it. We did not pay and I left unhappy and declared we would never be back. I would suggest better communication and never trust the local delivery people. Get yourself to the Safari gate there is parking there and get yourself dinner or make your own. The accommodations were excellent for us it was the local delivery people who really let us down. Also maybe book the rate that does not include breakfast then when they charge you for it it will be ok.

XXxuanieIt’s our honeymoon, and we’re glad we chose South Africa as our honeymoon destination! Spent 4 nights at Grand Kruger Lodge and booked 2 game drives, a sunrise bush walk and sunset drive via the lodge.
The lodge staff were good representatives of South African hospitality; we were well taken care of since day 1 - from decorating our room to welcome us for our honeymoon, the delicious and homely dinner spread (we looked forward to checking out the handwritten menu on the blackboard daily!), the friendly chats to find out if we enjoyed our Kruger National Park experience, leaving us chocolates on our bed after dinner etc. Returning to the lodge after our day felt like returning home to meet close friends whom we knew by name. Special shoutout to Innocent (yes that’s a staff’s name) who even gave us a ride back to the lodge when he saw us walking on the dirt path back after visiting Marloth viewpoint!
The game drives were conducted by the lodge safari guides, while the bush walk and sunset drive were conducted by SAN Parks rangers. We got Tamba as our game drive guide and learnt loads from him! From learning how to identify male/female animals via their distinctive features, to looking out for telltale signs such as animal poop and footprints to determine if the animals were nearby, the drives were like a live Nat Geo experience!
Definitely miss this place and everyone we met at Kruger/Marloth. Thank you for the lovely memories 😊

MMakgobaWhat a spectacular place!!! Visited with my friend for a few days. It was her first time in South Africa. Experience left such a beautiful impression of our beautiful country and its people❤️❤️❤️ The place and staff were AMAZING!!! So friendly, helpful, cheerful - always a pleasure to be around. The food and drinks provided were delicious and spectacular. Our room was always clean, made up and fully stocked with drinks and snacks. The game drives were informative and spectacular - phenomenal drivers. Transportation from and to the airport was timely and fantastic! Definitely recommend staying here!!! Special thanks to Victor, Benedict, Reyneke*, Sam, Jane, Hamilton, Imagine, Marita, S’fiso, and the list goes on😁😁😁 My friends and I are already planning our next visit back!!!

Incredibly polite and kind staff who cared for us, promptly resolved any issues, went above and beyond, and did everything possible for our well-being. We visited the hotel over the Christmas period, which caused some transportation issues. On our checkout day, due to the holiday, we were unable to book a taxi to the airport. The hotel owner himself drove us there, for which we are endlessly grateful.
The hotel is clean and cozy, with comfortable rooms and beautiful grounds with a pool. Very tasty and hearty dinners and breakfasts. On the safari day, they packed our breakfast in a thermal container, which was very convenient and practical. I highly recommend this hotel.

CCool_catI have lots of things to say about this guesthouse. It was my first time staying at a guesthouse but I must say that the experience was awesome 👌. I loved every moment here and the staff was great too. It felt so good staying at this place and being surrounded by nature made it an unforgettable experience. I even went for a jog with two members of the staff the morning before check out; around 5am.
I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for those using Malelane gate to get to Kruger NationalPark. The price is worth it too.

Unfortunately because of the weather we came at 21 pm without having a dinner. It was fully rainy, but staff came and prepared for us a dinner, perform everything and was absolutely friendly.
As for a place: it is wonderful for hicking relax and fun.

We arrived in the evening and not even sure if the road is leading into the hotel as the surrounding is dark and road is just dirt track road without any sign of building around.. More signs should be provided for first time visitors. But once inside the hotel compound it feels ok.
