Loved this hotel with the sea view. Could sleep listening to the ocean. Breakfast was good. Only downside was having to pay extra to use the sauna.

Just managed to book this for 1 day for my birthday weekendfor myself and my daughter and wished I had booked it for the entire duration of my 6 day stay in Portugal. Clean, peaceful, pool was crystal clear, staff were friendly. d I somehow managed to get it for a very competitive price, not the usual rate. We had a fantastic stay at The Editory by the Sea in Lagos. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and a short walk to the old town. The hotel has a modern, minimalist feel with beautiful interiors and calming views of the ocean. The service was warm and professional throughout our stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, without being intrusive. Our room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel more luxurious. The pool area was lovely—quiet, relaxing, and a great spot to unwind after exploring the Algarve. Breakfast was a highlight! Plenty of variety with fresh local options, from fruit and pastries to cooked dishes. We also had dinner at the hotel one night and were really impressed with the quality and presentation. Overall, The Editory was the perfect mix of design, comfort, and location. We’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Lagos!

Our family room window is much higher than normal level, we can’t see the outside view , when we open the shade, there is a staff walkway just a floor above ours. So we even can’t open the shade to enjoy daylight due to privacy. I believe other rooms won’t have this issue, but still not good for us. ❌ Everyday have different iced welcome drink in reception. ✅ Small pool but not busy, free without booking from 8am-8pm ✅ Our room has mini-kitchen, electronic cooker and hood ✅ Refrigerator is cold enough for really cold drinks.✅ No refill of bottle water and no mini- bar❌ No clean up of cutlery❌ Shower with good temperature range and enough pressure.✅ Just 2 pin sockets, no USB. ❌ Hotel location is PERFECT👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.Plenty of restaurants around. At the middle of famous attractions. 2 Supermarkets and self laundry around. ✅✅✅ Plenty of nice Algarve wall artwork.✅ Nice breakfast buffet ✅

Hotel antiguo pero con algunos puntos a su favor. Ubicación que permite unas vistas fabulosas del Castillo de Silves, piscina muy agradable y parking gratuito. Por los demás, colchones buenos, instalaciones de los años 70 y alguna que otra hormiga en la habitación, pero no pedimos mucho más por el precio que tiene.

酒店有泳池，但泳池隔離的草地多蚊子，小蟲，三月中泳池溫度仍然頗凍，不適合下水，酒店位置係沙灘對面，因此距離市中心有25分鐘路程，晚上行返酒店頗黑，感覺小小危險。另外房間很大，空間感十足，又有露台，足夠的儲物空間，如圖片一樣，美中不足的是沒有風筒，若距離每日check in時間頗耐才去reception 接的話，會被借完。房間有廚房，足夠的廚具，但需要自行清洗，otherwise需要提前在reception支付清潔費。

I have been staying at another hotel in the area a few times each year for the past 3 years,  however having been asked twice at checkout for a tip from the front office staff, I was simply appalled and decided to check out Ria Park.  An absolutely fantastic of hotel and extremely worthy of its five star.  From the concierge to the front of house, waiting and housekeeping staff and pool service… Myself and both of my daughters (in theur20’s)  had an absolutely wonderful time and plan to return again very  soon.

Once called the Alvor Luna Bay when bedrooms seemed larger!!! Renamed and reshaped. Swishly refurbed as new. Now the main problem is the lack of storage in what seem smaller bedrooms despite voluminous balconies. Simply, storage is inadequate for two guests for longer than a week, maximum. Let me describe............ a small [4feet tall?] open metal wardrobe rail with five fixed point clothes hangers. Four or five open shelves beside this rail., one occupied by the rooms safe. In all other respects its fine. The staff good and plentiful and helpful. The location the best in town!

Excelente localização, limpeza 5 estrelas adoramos toda a experiência. A minha única nota vai para o Café/bar, a comida não tem a qualidade expectável comparativamente com tudo o resto. Comida congelada e de má qualidade com preços elevados. Podiam melhorar nesse sentido. De resto Top!!
