Absolutely amazing stay with small budget. The facilities very new, location is very close to the jetty. We can enjoy the amazing view of boats, parasailing and water activities from the hotel balcony. The staffs are very nice and we had nice breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

Замечательный отель. Просторный номер, ничего лишнего. Отдельное спасибо за качество подушек, засыпаешь буквально сразу как кладешь на неё голову. Мягкая удобная кровать. Завтрак готовят практически при тебе. Очень вкусно. Особенно понравился тунец с кокосовой стружкой. Территория отеля небольшая, но выглядит атмосферно. Персонал дружелюбный, отзывчивый. Ночью мне захотелось попить чай со сладостями, не смотря на позднее время суток меня сопроводили и показали магазин 😅🤌. Нужно понимать, что это не лакшери отель, но я была приятно удивлена комфорту и атмосфере.

Our two-week vacation at Arrival Beach and Spa on Gulhi Island was the perfect trip for us. If you're looking not just for a beach holiday but also for a chance to experience authentic Maldivian life, this is an excellent choice. Overall Impression: We spent 14 days at the hotel and were truly sad to leave. It was our first such long vacation abroad, and it was simply wonderful. About Gulhi Island: This island is a great example of a ”local” Maldivian island. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay: a designated bikini beach, its own house reef for snorkeling, several shops, cafes, and restaurants. For entertainment, there are football fields, water sports, and various excursions. In the evenings, stingrays and nurse sharks swim up to the pier – a very unusual sight! Island Pros: - A small but very interesting island – if you stroll around leisurely, you can discover something new every day. - The local residents are very friendly and speak decent English. - The island is easy to get to – just a 30-minute speedboat ride from Male. - No mosquitoes – a big plus for evening walks. - You can observe fruit bats. Island Cons: - Sometimes you can smell paint from the repair shipyard. - There are flies. - Not very much vegetation. - Occasionally you see some trash. About Arrival Beach and Spa Hotel: The hotel left us with the most pleasant impressions. The staff is very responsive and the location is convenient. What We Liked: - Attention to detail: daily cleaning, towel changes, complimentary water in the room. - The rooms are clean and fresh, with good soundproofing and a wonderful view. - Amenities: beach towels and snorkeling sets are provided, universal power outlets. - Free sun loungers and umbrellas provided by the hotel on the beach. - Varied dining – buffet or a la carte menu. - Musicians perform on weekends – creating a pleasant atmosphere. What Could Be Improved: - The pool seemed rather cold. - The gym is very small. - During heavy rains, we noticed minor leaks. - The menu became a bit repetitive in the second week. About the Hotel Team: We would like to give special thanks to the staff who made our stay special: - Arif Sha - a great guy who knows a lot about sports and the hotel. - Ripha - the best expert on the Maldives and marine life. - Dilshani - a charming girl, pleasant to chat with on any topic. - Revil - the sweetest girl, her smile charged us with positivity for the whole day. - And of course, a huge thanks to the cleaning staff for their daily and important work. Verdict: We definitely recommend both Gulhi Island and Arrival Beach and Spa. This place is for those who value not only comfort but also genuine human connection. We left feeling like we had been visiting good friends.

It’s been a wonderful stay at Arena. I had booked a speedboat transfer from the airport for 1:00 p.m. but when I arrived, a staff member approached me and offered an earlier boat at 10:30 a.m. which was superb! as I didn’t have to wait too long at the Airport. Our room was ready at 2:00 p.m. but that was fine. We simply walked around the local island to find lunch. I booked an excursion with Arena and it was really worth it. All the staff were really helpful. For a family vacation, I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a small private island, quiet environment have a long/big beautiful beach, good for walk around and relaxing. room design is comfortable and the staffs are friendly always smiling and greeting every moment. Jetty is a spot to observe the various fish swimming around, in a sunny day can see the fish swimming in the crystal clean water just in front of the beach!…but the wave is not calm always should got swimming skills then you can enjoy the snorkelling in this island.

This was a cool experience, always wanted to try water villa. The island looks great, it’s connected with two others and brings you more wonderful views. There are lots of water villas there and that’s why it looks even better. Villa is big enough for two persons, got two bathes, one of them outside, it looks beautiful at sunrise. There was a low tide at night and a little island appeared nearby, we took a lil walk there. Then water came up again and we saw little sharks and even stingrays around. Transfer was kinda expensive, 250$ one way with 50% discount and also we expected a golf car to take us to reception on checkout, but in vain. (I had a huge sunburn before) We went to another resort, but regretted about it. For now it was a best stay on Maldives for us. Oh! There’s a YouTube on TV in villa, it was really important for us.

Awesome place to visit. The best thing about the stay was the water villa with jacuzzi and instant access to amazing snorkeling. Rajan our house attendant was a particular highlight, he always had a big smile on his face and went above and beyond to make our stay special and really succeeded, if you read this Rajan, thank you very much for your excellent hospitality, you made our stay very enjoyable! Only feedback I would give is to reduce the number of notifications sent by the app, it was a bit excessive. Also, due to the sky high prices of even simple activities, we opted to gave all of them a pass. A night snorkeling excursion asking for something like USD90 and then also charging USD15 for torch rental feels a little silly. You cannot go night snorkeling without a torch. Otherwise, we were really happy with the stay.

Need to book early for boat airport transfer before reach Male airport. They will arrange someone to meet u at the arrival area in the airport. Later after reached maafushi, there’s a buggy to pick u up & go to the hotel. Breakfast just normal don’t expect too much. Towel can be request to change daily especially beach towel which is very good.
