酒店體驗相當差。當天四點多入住，給我們的房間，連前台接待自己都找不到，入住之後發現我們預訂的兩張雙人大床，而是一張雙人大床加兩張簡易單人床，去前台交涉，被告知客房已滿，第二關才有解決辦法。到晚上十點準備睡覺，發現其中一個簡易床有塌陷，翻開床單才發現少了三條木欄，再次去前台交涉，晚班經理表示自己衹是餐廳經理，衹能先給加床墊，第二天解決，結果第二天也衹是把簡易床換成鋼絲床，還不如前一晚的床墊。第二天晚上拿着不清理客房換的5鎊抵用券去一樓酒吧消費，點餐後發現買單價格和才到不一樣，經過確實，確實是酒吧價格系統有問題，但是吧枱服務生拿着菜單回來時，把菜單丟在我們邊上，遞餐時的表情也是相當不爽。虛偽的英式抱歉。這個酒店根本不值這個價錢。

Absolutely amazing stay , as soon as we arrived everything was great and customer service was brilliant . They even upgraded us to a room with a hot tub for my husbands birthday. Spa was lovely and even on the checkout day can use it to 1pm which was a nice bonus. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and so good only had to walk 30 seconds from our room. Will definitely be back to visit again!

Неплохой отель с удачным расположением, своя парковка отсутствует, но можно поставить машину на улице рядом. Вокруг много кафе и магазинов. Ресепшена нет, на дверях электронные замки - за пару часов до заселения за почту приходят 2 кода (от внешней двери и от номера).

The property and the ambience is lovely. The view from the restaurant garden is very pleasant and beautiful. The room size, bathroom size and amenities were good. We faced 1 major problem to be precise which made us a bit sore.
Cleanliness - the room was clean except for the carpet. It didn’t feel like it was vacuumed. There was probably a pet staying in that room before us and there was a lot of hair on the carpet. I understand it is a pet friendly property and I have absolutely no problem with that. But cleaning the room properly before the next checkin is a basic expectation. We couldn’t step on the floor without our feet being covered with hair.
Apart from that, everything else was very good. Breakfast was also good and the customer service was very polite and hospitable as well.

The Macdonald Old England Hotel is well situated, being just a stones throw from the lakeside and the shops in Bowness.
The staff are friendly and obliging and the service matches their attitude.
The breakfasts are fine, although the staff can sometimes be a bit slow in replenishing the tureens.
We did not use the Spa, so we cannot comment on that.
Overall, we found the hotel to have all the facilities that we were lookling for and we would be happy to stay there again.

去的時候剛好趕上婚禮，大堂裡外都是熱情洋溢喜氣洋洋的老外。前台有衹值班的狗，乖極了。如果帶着孩子，需要額外每衹30胖子的付費，這個，呃……如果沒有這筆費用還是不錯的。第二天的免費自助早餐不錯，咖啡點了以後，服務員送。走廊裏有自助牛奶和自助飲用水。停車免費呦，停車場挺大，基本不用擔心沒地方，因為即使頭一天婚禮來滿了人，也依舊有少許停車位。
雖然英國每天都陰沉下雨或者颳風下雪，但是我們卻在這裏看到了久違的漫天繁星。

The hotel seems still under renovation. Flies were flying around in the room and could not sleep well at night. Towel heating rack in the toilet is partially rusty. SPA facilities has not been used, but seems not bad. Suggest to extend the closing time till 8 PM or 9PM to facilitate visitors after the sightseeing around Lake District.

這是一棟可以追溯到1548年的歷史建築，經歷了11個主人，如今是一家Spa酒店
酒店坐擁很大一片地，門前牛羊成羣，另一面餐廳有很不錯的湖景和一大片草地，野兔和松鼠時常在草地和林間跳躍。經過一條小路可以到達湖邊，也可以在森林裏徒步。
從電梯可以感受到，酒店很有年代感
spa有恆温泳池，冷水池，熱水池，還有一個户外的熱水池，面對一大片草地和樹林，真的很愜意。
唯一要注意的是：11點退房，一定要在退房前去spa，11點後要加收每人20磅。

VVieraskäyttäjäUpon arrival there was nobody at the front desk so I waited. The woman I was somewhat greated by was far from pleasant and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all. Nothing was explained and no information leaflet for me to read through in my own time. When given my room key I started walking through the lobby but couldn’t see any signs for my room number. Went back to the desk to ask where to go for my room and was told ‘just follow it round’.
Very unhelpful and unwelcoming, not sure this lady should be at the face of the hotel.
Plus side, room was beautiful and well kept/clean. I was also lake side so got to watch the sunrise with my morning cuppa. Very refreshing views.

PPumpknStayed in one of the 4 garden cabins. Each are angled in such a way that they are all private. Each has its own hot tub and log burner. The cabin was cosy at night and well maintained. The cabin has WiFi, a tv, tea/coffee station, sofa and ensuite. Towels are provided for the bathroom plus separate towels, a robe and slippers for the hot tub. Breakfast was buffet but included hot self-service english breakfast items. I have to give credit to the person on reception when I checked in who greeted me with a smile and was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back.

Lovely and warm but we could turn the radiators down if we wanted to. Great views across the fields. Would come back thanks for having us!

XXinhui這個酒店對自駕的很友好，打車就有點遠了，下訂單的時候要注意，幾個人住就選幾個人，住的人數不同，價格也不同，小孩兒需要現場補25磅的加床費，服務員態度還好，但是對房間內多住人很敏感，多要床被子也需要來房間看看到底住幾個人，跟登記的是否一樣，酒店在山上，辦理入住的地方剛開始以為是一樓，辦完了發現是3樓，我們房間在一樓，沒有電梯，拎着行李走樓電下樓後，發現我家車就停在一樓旁邊，早知道就不把行李提去辦理入住多地方了，酒店帶個小池塘，有點小度假村的感覺，孩子跟池塘裏的鴨子玩的很開心，晚上在池塘邊可以看到漫天繁星，適合度假那種，酒店設施有點舊，泳池比較小衹適合幼兒園小朋友玩水，因為比較喜歡那個池塘和草坪，在酒店期間沒怎麼在房間裏呆著，都在户外了，所以衹有户外的照片
