We think that the hotel is not bad, but not great either. First thing to note is the hotel’s location is quite far (20min) from main terminal, BUT has a bus stop right in front. Secondly, hotel is already very old, and guests mainly are older gentlemen and ladies. Pool facilities which were advertised as 38C were mostly 30-36 at best. The hot tub hard carried our stay. Since the island is quite expensive in general now, a visit to this place do give it some thought.

L’hotel si presenta bene, è pulito, ha due belle piscine esterne, un giardino ben curato, il personale è sempre gentile e disponibile. La colazione è abbondante ma la qualità dei prodotti offerti è scadente. Non conosco le dimensioni delle altre camere ma la mia era molto piccola e soprattutto con la mobilia datata, le ante dell’armadio si aprivano con enorme difficoltà. Il phon dopo 15 secondi dall’utilizzo si spegneva e per poterlo riutilizzare bisognava aspettare che si freddasse mentre la presa di corrente nel bagno non ha mai funzionato e nonostante lo avessi segnalato ha continuato a non funzionare.

Классический отель в хорошем смысле этого слова, с сохранением души Искьи.Душевный доброжелательные персонал - ресепшен, горничные, работники ресторана, уютный номер, прекрасное дополнение- бассейны,сауны. Мелкие недостатки компенсируются прекрасным отношением и готовностью помочь в любом вопросе.Спасибо за прекрасный отдых. Я обязательно вернусь.

La cadena B&B me gusta mucho y no conocía que tuviesen este tipo de alojamientos. La verdad es que me ha sorprendido mucho. Por otro lado debe mejorar bastantes cosas, el baño no está muy bien acondicionado, está viejo y la mampara del baño está en mal estado. El aire acondicionado es viejo pero enfría bastante bien y el servicio de habitaciones reutiliza las sábanas cada día, la cama no nos la cambiaron y la colcha estaba sucia todos los días de la estancia. Lo peor de la estancia fue la conexión WIFI, fallaba continuamente y/o se quedaba sin conexión todo el tiempo. Este tipo de cosas deben cuidarse mucho más. En cuanto a la atención del personal, excelente y el Buffet de la mañana muy bueno.

DDjohCLocation very close to Napoli Centrale train station .. while the neighborhood can be intimidating for first timer visiting Napoli… it’s pretty safe during my 4 day stays. Good as base if you exploring Napoli or doing day trips to Sorrento; Pompeii via the train or taking ferry to Capri; Amalfi coast via buses nearby to ferry port. Clean rooms and generally helpful front desk staff.

RRip RipWe booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house. There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price. We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa. Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apartments actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view) Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house) Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed. Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay. Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread. The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more.. Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us. If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you Massimo and team for keeping our room super clean , daily when we really didn’t expect the service. Likewise appreciated the small touches of receiving disposable raincoats in case of heavy rain on our tour.

The hotel is very well located as a base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, and Naples. It offers a quieter and more practical alternative to staying in the more crowded tourist areas, while still providing easy access to key destinations. The room was comfortable, with a balcony that provided a good view. The ground floor common areas are spacious and well laid out, creating a pleasant environment to relax outside of the room. Breakfast is consistent and enjoyable, with items such as hot chocolate and a well-prepared cheese omelette. The staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay. Housekeeping is reliable, with rooms cleaned daily and maintained to a good standard. The hotel also provides a private car park at a reasonable rate of 15 euros per day, which is particularly convenient for those driving in the region. There is a lift available, making it easy to access rooms with luggage. Amenities are very good overall, contributing to a comfortable and well-managed stay. The hotel offers a balanced combination of convenience, comfort, and value, making it a strong choice for travelers exploring this part of Italy.

LLKHKerMy family and I had a precious and memorable experience at Casa Astarita guesthouse in October. Although we walked for a while from the bus station to the house, we soon realized that we were already passing through the most central and lively area of Sorrento. Everything we wanted—restaurants, gift shops, gelato and drink bars, supermarkets, and more—was just a few steps from the guesthouse. The reception and hospitality at Casa Astarita were even more surprising and heartwarming, making us feel truly at home. We were deeply touched and grateful to be guests here. We especially enjoyed the morning breakfast time with other guests in the common dining area. The maids were kind and thoughtful, customizing our meals to our preferences. The room was spacious, and the furniture solid and traditionally functional—not designed for those expecting luxury decor, but perfectly comfortable. The balcony overlooked the main street below, where we could hear buskers and Italian music playing from the nearby restaurants, giving us an immersive sense of the city. On our checkout day, as we wanted to stay in the city until late, we were gladly offered luggage storage without hesitation. We sincerely thank the host for their considerate and customer-oriented service.

SShirenzhaosiHuone oli yllättäen erittäin suuri, ja ulkona oli pieni käytävä. Kylpyhuone oli erotettu käytävällä, joten huono ilmankierto ei ollut suuri ongelma. Huoneen varustelu oli keskitasoa. Hotelli ei valmistanut vuodevaatteita kesällä, eikä niitä itse asiassa käytetty, mutta jos olet tottunut peittämään itsensä peitolla, voit pyytää sitä hotellilta. Kun pyysimme sitä, hotellissa oli jäljellä vain yksi suuri peitto. Jos halusimme käyttää sitä kahden kesken, meidän piti laittaa kaksi pientä sänkyä yhteen saadaksemme suuren sängyn. Käytin tuolloin tekoälyä lukeakseni italialaisen johdannon ja liitin mukaan Ctripin: Tämä portti rakennettiin 1400-luvun lopulla, ja se on arkkitehtoninen mestariteos Napolin kaupunginmuurin laajennuksen aikana. Tämä tufista rakennettu Aragonian muurin osa on erittäin hyvin säilynyt, ja sen sotilaallinen puolustusjärjestelmä oli tuliaseita edeltävän aikakauden huippu – kunnes tykistöteknologian tulo poisti tämän tyyppiset linnoitukset kokonaan. Giuliano da Maianon suunnittelema marmorikaari seisoo korkealla, ja sitä reunustavat ”Kunnian” ja ”Hyveen” kaksoistornit. Se oli aikoinaan tärkein portti kuningaskunnan pääkaupunkiin. Habsburgien dynastian Kaarle V:n vaakuna lisättiin vuonna 1***, ja portin takana oleva Pyhän Gaetanon kynttiläpatsas, joka on vihitty käyttöön suuren ruton jälkeen vuonna 1656, seisoo edelleen hiljaa.

LlymaWonderful stay. Perfect location, is on the busy pedestrian street of Positano but the minute you enter the hotel is a luxury oasis. Beautifully designed courtyard and swimming pool, a perfect place to spend the morning or afternoon. Classic Room was spacious even with a baby cot, not modern but has its charm. The staff are excellent, especially Antonio at the pool who took such good care of us and always carries a smile and with excellent drinks. The lady at breakfast is also so attentive to our family. Some staff are lacking friendliness which should be reviewed as 90% of the team are generally wonderful. Great breakfast buffet selection, with scrambled eggs, cheeses, cold cut, fresh fruits, fresh organic juice and pastries. Early evening in the courtyard with drinks and live music is such the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this beautiful property!

VVieraskäyttäjäHi, We were upgraded to their next door hotel. Location is quite close (1 metro station to Garibaldi or Napoli Centrale) but the area is quite dirty and felt unsafe. Hotel room was super clean and facilities were top notch and good value for money. We had breakfast included but we had to leave early morning so didn't take the breakfast. The main complaint I had was: They kept us waiting telling us that room will be ready in 5 min but took more than 1 hour. Granted we arrived at 12 and we were ready to drop the bag in the storage but they kept on telling will be in 5-10 min. It took them like 75 min to get the room ready. When I confronted them, they were quite unapologetic about it and in fact they were telling that they are doing a favour... Overall: Good hotel, good facilities. Staff was unhelpful and area was dirty.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe Bellini House was a really cute B&B experience!! My favorite thing about it was the staff. The girls were all extremely friendly and helpful, and made me feel right at home. There are only a handful of rooms, so it felt really cozy here. The breakfast and hangout area was right outside of my door, which made me feel close to other guests and safe, especially as a solo traveler. There were drinks and snacks that you can help yourself to and a ”honesty box” system. The breakfast was a wide selection of pastries, fresh squeezed juice!! and eggs that were made to order. The room was big but quite basic. It was also sufficiently clean! Please note that there is no elevator here and The Bellini House is located one floor up from the ground floor, so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs.
