Beautiful place. Right beside the lake. Parking limited. Near all major attractions. Ideal location Lift available! Got a deal for room, but it was facing inwards and behind the kitchen exhaust so you have the chimney oil smell coming in all the time. So kept window closed. It was the hottest summer yet, so room was like an oven with window closed ( people talking, smoking , noise and cooking oil), triggered my allergy due to the heat. Small table fan. All in all, a wonderful stay minus the weather.

Absolut empfehlenswert – modern, hochwertig und herzlich! Das Hotel ist total schön, neu, modern und sehr hochwertig eingerichtet , einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Alles glänzt, ist tipptopp sauber und stilvoll gestaltet. Man wird sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen, das Personal ist ausgesprochen nett, höflich und kompetent. Man merkt, dass sich hier wirklich Mühe gegeben wird, den Gästen einen tollen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Das Frühstück war hervorragend – liebevoll dekoriert, mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Besonders hervorzuheben: der perfekt zubereitete Avocado-Toast mit Ei Benedikt – einfach ein Traum! Auch der Kaffee war richtig lecker und wurde freundlich serviert. Die Lage ist zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig. Man hat eine tolle Aussicht, hier kann man wunderbar entspannen. Die Einrichtung im Zimmer ist stilvoll und sehr schön abgestimmt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder!

All in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer. It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.

Beautiful location. Perfect for a one-night stay. There's a stunning, calm restaurant downstairs with delicious dinner and great breakfast buffet option. Room was basic, clean and warm with stunning views from the balcony, looking out into green mountains.

Das Presonal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war ok,das 3.Bett sollte man mal gegen ein gescheites Bett austauschen das hat gequitscht und ist auch in die Jahre gekommen.Unser großes Bett war super bequem👍. Wir waren ein wenig enttäuscht,das in einem 4 Sterne Hotel im Bad die Seife komplett leer war und die eine Lampe nicht ging.Im Fahrstuhl die Griffhalterung sollte auch mal befestigt werden. Ansonsten kann man das Hotl schon weiterempfehlen.

It was very clean and lovely to stay at. Very friendly staff who were extremely helpful! Would most definitely stop by again!

Accuei toujours professionnel. Petit déjeuner extra et offrant un large choix Juste un lit sur les quatre trip ”leger” (appoint) j'ai appris qu'il faut demander l'option ”supérieur” . Je resterai fidèle lors de les séjours en Allemagne : équipe charmante

Great place to Stay. Only challenge was the location. Especially, if you do not travel by a car, it could be challenging walking a steep long way. It is still good workout though. Loved that pool time, the staffs were very helpful and friendly. Food was good and room was beautiful. What a view!

Wir würden sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir hatten 3 Doppelzimmer gebucht, bei 2 fehlte eine Bettdecke und Kopfkissen sowie die Handtücher. Beides wurde gleich nachgereicht. Frühstück war lecker, für Veganer und Vegetarier wenig im Angebot. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich.

Das Hotel liegt ca. 4,5 km von Freiburg, ist aber sehr gut zu erreichen. Hat direkt vor der Tür eine Bushaltestelle. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, jedoch durch Personalmangel schnell leer gefegt und wurde erst dann wieder nachgefüllt. Das war wirklich nicht so schön, obwohl sehr viele Tische belegt waren. Die Zimmer sind groß, sehr sauber und täglich aufgeräumt. Sogar ein kleiner Kühlschrank und ein Safe. Da es keine Klimaanlage gibt, steht ein großer Ventilator im Zimmer. Er kühlte auch gut, jedoch nachts störte das Geräusch beim Schlafen. Aber alles in allem, waren wir sehr zufrieden und können das in die Jahre gekommene Hotel trotzdem weiter empfehlen.
