After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. This is my first time traveling to China and the first time I was very impressed, both the accommodation and the people. This hotel welcomed me very well, provided tea, the staff were smiling, even the housekeeper was lovely. The hotel is clean, beautiful, near the main road and many important places, easy to travel. If I have a chance to go to China again, I will definitely stay here again.

The bosses are very friendly and fetched and send us from the yabulixi train station. Upon arrival to the homestay, lady boss free upgrade to a beautiful bigger room for us! I have been communicating with lady boss via WeChat xyxms999 before arrival and she helped us planned the full 5 days 4 nights itinerary including to horse ride, snow play, ski and xuexiang! They literally drive us around to and fro around by their chauffeur. We ordered TB and they help us pick up our stuff too They serve daily breakfast too The room is very new and is exactly as per the photos and housekeeping is awesome The bosses own a restaurant next door and serve super yummy authentic dong bei food that we had our dinner there every night! And they are so nice to give us a discount of the food… Even though this is a homestay but we feel that the service they offer was far so much better than a hotel. They have their big snow area with their own snow play with snow bike and snow car and snow slide and swing too Also they help us buy discounts tickets to all places of interest as well as loan ski gear at a discounted price too… My girls loved it so much that they wanted to go back again!

The hotel has a very convenient location, within walking distance of Subway Line 3 (Friendship Palace Hotel Exit 2), Zhongyang Street (Central Avenue), the Morning Market, Songhua River, St. Sophia Cathedral, and Manhattan Mall. The area is surrounded by many restaurants and convenience stores, making it easy to find food and daily necessities. The lady owner speaks English very well and is very responsive, kind, and sweet. She even surprised me with a cake for my birthday. The staff are helpful and welcoming, and they invited us to a Christmas Eve party with free food, which made our stay extra special. The room is quiet and spacious, with free bottled water provided daily. What I liked the most was the large window, perfect for people-watching and enjoying the view of cars passing by 😆. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. 💕

Had an exceptional experience! The hostel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Everyone here were warm and friendly, especially the lady’s boss always ready to assist with a smile, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere at the hostel was fantastic. It had a vibrant and welcoming vibe, perfect for meeting fellow travelers and making new friends. The common areas were cozy and inviting, ideal for relaxing after a day of adventures. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent trip drivers. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and made exploring the area so much easier and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who looking for a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay.

Great little themed hotel, one of the most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Sure, data can be spotty but the hotel provides in-room speedy wifi. One thing I may note is that during peak hours, the elevator can take quite a while to get up and down since the place is on the 30th floor. But plan accordingly and you won’t regret it. A prime, central location that’s not less than 20 minutes from major attractions. Very happy with my stay here. - James, Australia

A really nice, clean and well equipped guesthouse with incredibly kind people. They brought me/picked me up to/from the ski resort every time I went skiing. Also, they brought me to the train station on my day of departure. The place is well located close to many restaurants and also had its own restaurant. Man ski rental shops are also close by. It’s a great place for I go skiing from in Yabuli ski resort! :-)

Very helpful cause initially I had booked a room with stairs. Found it too tedious to move 3 of my Large luggage, so check if I'm able to change. Lucky I had a Free upgrade and I'm super happy with the room. FREE disposable towel, toothbrush and slippers. P/s: Free 1 Coke which I actually wanted to pay when checking out, 10 Q.
