My friend and I had a great stay at the Marina bay Seaview Homestay. The location was great, the rooms were clean and spacious and the owner very friendly and accommodating. He can’t speak English but we communicated with each other via WeChat.. I particularly love the view from my room on the 9th floor. I will recommend this to all my friends visiting Beihai. My three days here were wonderful and relaxing. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

Beautiful resort in a beautiful location. The room was beautiful (although it can help having a little refurbishment, especially the bathroom). The staff is incredible, nice friendly and always trying to help and even if they don't speak English the communication was so easy with everyone. They gave us a room with a beautiful balcony with view and recommendations on restaurants in the area. Highly recommend it

”Cozy 3-night stay! The hotel's setting is lovely, with a beautiful river view that made my stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are immaculate and super comfy - I barely wanted to leave! The location is perfect, with plenty of nearby attractions and amenities just a short walk away. And, I must say, the hotel's warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home. I spent my nights snug inside my room, sipping beer and enjoying the chill vibes - it was the perfect way to recharge. Highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and great location. The room was really nice, very confortable and clean. The hotel has a very complete service, they change towels and clean the room everyday, also give you free bottle wather daily. We could wash our clothes in a self service machine and they even gave us extra hangers to use in the room. The recepcionist was very attentive and friendly. The only thing we didn't like is that you can hear everything in the corridor from the room. But anyway we had a very pleasant stay there and totally recomend the place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations from the very first moment. The view was simply breathtaking — the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows across three large sections were truly something special and unforgettable. We spent an amazing time here with my wife, enjoying the calm atmosphere and the beautiful design of the room. The bathtub was fantastic, perfect for relaxing, and the projector added a really cozy, cinematic touch to our evenings. The combination of comfort, style, and that incredible panoramic view made our stay truly memorable. We felt relaxed, happy, and fully enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended — we would love to come back again!

Wonderful hotel. My room had an unblocked view of the mountains and paid fields. 7th floor rooftop has a pool and very nice views. Service was excellent. The room was very clean. Breakfast was Chinese style breakfast which suited our taste. You can rent an e bike from the front of the hotel cheaply and ride around the area. Or if you prefer you could also ride the free bicycles provided by the hotel.

一下高鐵站本來是想去市中心的，一看高鐵北站所有酒店性價比都比市中心高，果斷選擇北站附近，離市中心五公里左右，房間很乾凈，設施很新，去年才建的，由於晚上到所訂房間沒房，老闆免費升了一個級換了高級大床雙人房，一切十分好，也不吵，睡了一個好覺，就是本來外面下雨，沒有趕行程，攜程貴賓享受二點退房服務，攜程額外服務十分好，清潔阿姨十二點就催退房實在沒必要。總的來説還是全五分好評的！

This hotel is one of the most beautiful Hotels i ever stayed in. The location is amazing, right in the middel of town, and next to the river. The hotel has an amazing garden with a viewing platform where one can drink tea and watch the rooftops of the town and the mountains above. The staff is super friendly and are always there to help out and give tips for what to do. They also served me amazing tea. Truly overwhelmed by this hotel, and area, can't recommend it enough!

VVieraskäyttäjäGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

I loved my room with huge windows viewing the surrounding mountains. Everything was very clean. The walls are thin so you can hear noisy people, but overall it was a great stay! The staff was helpful and let me check in early. They also helped arrange a ride to Guilin.

GGan Yung ChyanI arrived in Guilin from Kunming late after 12 am and there is no tourist information counter staff at the airport to tell me where to wait for the hotel's airport transfer driver. Fortunately an airline check-in counter officer helped me call the hotel to find out where to wait for the driver. Please note wait for the driver next to the police kiosk after leaving Gate 6 of the domestic arrival terminal and crossing the lane. It took me 15 minutes to identify the driver because the driver did not show the placard showing the hotel name Shanshuiyunshang Hotel. The driver was impatiently waiting for a foreign tourist. So I identified myself as a Singaporean looking for the transfer driver of the hotel. He replied that I can follow him, who did not declare the hotel's name. Thank God he brought a group of tourists and me to Shanshuiyunshang Hotel to check-in. I also thank God that the driver escorts me to the Airport Flower Field, which is 569 metres away from the hotel, for plane-spotting, and I walk back to the hotel within 10 minutes to check-out of the hotel for my outgoing trip from Guilin after completing my plane-spotting mission. Other than the hotel airport transfer driver, there is the odour of smoke in the room but I have to bear with it until I leave and I cannot access the hotel wifi by scanning the QR code. The hotel restaurant is very small but dragonfruit is served and the breakfast amount is sufficient to fill my hunger. Shanshuiyunshang Hotel is one of several hotels along the road of Liangjiang Town that has accommodation for tourists but this hotel is the only one in Liangjiang Town to be listed on Trip.com. I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting in Liangjiang Town, the famous airport town of Guangxi.

AArina_SivI would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for such a warm welcome. I spent three wonderful days at the hotel, and the whole experience felt like a continuous spa retreat. I feel truly rested and refreshed. My room had a stunning view of the mountains, which made my mornings special. I also really appreciated that a massage and a tea ceremony were included in the price. Each session was filled with deep philosophical meaning, and I truly enjoyed them. I spent a lot of time within the hotel, so I’m grateful for the included activities. A special thank you for the delicious coffee! I noticed you use DeLonghi coffee machines—they really make a great cup of coffee. The breakfast menu was also very diverse and tasty. The only minor issue was with the hot water, as it took quite a long time to heat up. However, the staff handled it professionally and settled everything. Thank you for a soul-soothing stay! I highly recommend this place.

BBwana SamThis is our 3rd visit to Yangshuo and our first time to try this hotel. The staff are amazing. Attentive and customer focused. From before we arrived they were already keeping in touch with us to ensure we could get to them smoothly. On arrival they put a lot of effort into ensuring we had all the help we needed and knew all the local an activities and attractions. Day by day they kept us updated with events. The hotel offers free shuttle between Yangshuo walking streets and their establishment which is very convenient. You must book in advance. There are activities every afternoon engaging art and craft for both kids and adults. Very fun. From 9pm there are free noodles served in the main dining area. Many guests enjoy this and take advantage. Definitely a great addition since you cannot get deliveries being this far away from town. The room we booked was the 2 bedroom cloud residence. An amazing room.This is incredibly big and spacious with a king bed in the main living room area shielded off by a curtain where one of our kids slept. The main bedroom is massive and has the circular bed in the middle. A rollaway double bed was also setup in here for our little one and this worked out fine. There is an outdoor patio with a staircase that goes up to the roof with 360° panoramic views of the area - you cannot beat this view in other hotels nearby. We found the room was very cold at night as the central heating was only blowing cold air. So we turned it off and it was slightly more bearable. I would have given 5 starts if the heating worked better. Apart from this the Julong Town Resort Hotel is amazing. Giving a better service and attention level than many of this big name establishments.

As a couple traveling for the first time in China, Yukong, his family, and friends gave us a feeling of home and took care of us in a way we never experienced from a homestay. The house itself is build by Yukong's grandparents 70 years ago, and is placed in the middle of a Kiwi farm on the mountains outside Leye city. We shared great meals together every night in front of the fireplace with the boiling soup bowl at the center. Friends and family of the house even cared for bringing all sorts of classical Chinese instruments to the house to play traditional folk music for us - something we will never forget! Together we sang karaoke, drank rice wine, laughed and had great talks, despite of the language barrier. One could tell that our well being mattered to all of them, and that they wanted us to experience and understand their culture. Yukong and his brother even joined us for a hike in the nearby geopark and helped us with litterarly everything regarding planning and activities (which was so helpful, as none of us speaks Chinese). They took so much time off their hands to help us getting around and showed us the most wonderful local tourist attractions and great places to eat. The area has a lot to offer, and we were amazed that we seemed to have it all to ourselves. If you are in Guangxi, or anywhere else in China, for that matter, do yourself a favor and book a stay here. It is something you will remember for a long time. The nature, the culture, and especially the family you are gonna stay with, are wonderful.

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language. Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

WWan SuwanThe location of the apartment is great, plenty of restaurants, 24hrs convenient stores around the building, short walking distance to Mira Mall & Sheng's Tiandi where you can find good supermarket & lots of nice restaurants & good food places. MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building. The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom. Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent. In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

MMooMooooWhat can I say.... AMAZING!! We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed both nights!! From when we first check in, the lady who checked us in, helped us with our suitcase and they are big one too! (note there is no elevator). To the lady that work at night and cook our yummy breakfast in the morning, thank you! We are both vegetarian, so she was always checking to make sure we can eat it. She was super friendly, talk to us and tell us what is nice to explore/play, and make sure we have enough food to eat! On the last day when we have to check out early as we have to catch the Li River Cruise, she make sure we have food to eat and that we can bring on the boat to eat as well. She was very thoughtful! The location is over the bridge about a 10 mins walk to ZhengYang Pedestrian Street. I prefer here as it more quieter rather than on the main street. Furthermore, it not that far, with only a 10 mins walk along the river and you will reach most places. I also loved the decor in the hotel as well, it has everything you need. They provided free snack, and we did try some too!! Good to try local snacks which we did end up buying when we saw it lol. You could also go up to the roof top, which will provide a 360 view, especially the view looking out to the Li River on a nice fine day is so worth it! Lastly, my mum left some of her belonging in the hotel and forgot to pack when we check out. They courier this to our next hotel in Yangshou, which is very thoughtful of them. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay here.

The space is simple, spacious, CLEAN, and tastefully artistic, surrounded by all kinds of beautiful green foliage that made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The house itself is stunning, thoughtfully designed by the talented owner with great attention to detail. The location couldn’t be better—just a short, scenic walk to the river, passing by a charming strawberry U-PICK farm on the way. Along the walk and nearby, there are tons of delicious street food options, fresh-squeezed juice stands, and great coffee spots. Bikes were conveniently arranged and delivered right to the back door, making it easy and fun to explore the area. Our kids absolutely LOVED this place—they didn’t want to leave! They especially loved the chance to meet and feed the on-site animals, including a friendly llama and a variety of small animals. One of our favorite moments was the relaxed afternoon setup—while the kids enjoyed playing with play dough, the adults were treated to a complimentary afternoon tea overlooking the gorgeous hotel grounds and dramatic mountain backdrop. It was pure bliss. The breakfast provided was delicious and beautifully prepared, with plenty of options the kids enjoyed. Even the pool was a hit—despite it not being heated in April, the kids still played in it for over an hour. This place completely exceeded our expectations. We would 100% stay here again the next time we visit Guilin!
