O hotel é bom, bem localizado, mas o preço do restaurante e bar é exagerado, mesmo para padrões europeus. O staff foi todo muito simpático e atencioso.

Food was delightful with lots of choice and a variety of fish, meat and veg-friendly options! A nice location on the beach, and great to have hot water during certain hours The bird life around the gardens is magnificent, with pin-tailed whydahs darting around right in front of the cabin! And a rooster who wakes everyone up at 3:30am!. The boat to the equatorial island seems to go daily, for which you pay a guide, boat transport and for lunch on the island. Road travel to reach the place is very difficult, takes 2.5 hours, and airport transfer costs 80 euros each way (for 160 euros, you're better to rent a car and have freedom to go to other places). Cabins could use some work to make them more comfortable, for example the lighting really needs improvement. Also, staff need better training to understand pre-paid booking sites. If you book this hotel on Trip.com, make sure to bring a printed receipt and even a credit card statement to be prepared to fight when they insist that you pay in cash as well, even though you have a receipt saying you pre-paid by credit card. (I forwarded it to them by email and WhatsApp three times when they kept asking for it and saying I was supposed to depart a day earlier than I had booked for, and then they still chased me to the parking lot demanding cash payment.) They will also ask you to pay tourist tax on top of your room and VAT because they don't understand whether it is included. (They seem confused with *********** where you have to pay in cash on site - don't count on using a credit card.) Also they don't make change in euros so you will need small denomination euro notes. While I had gone here to relax after a stressful work trip in West Africa, these problems with staff not understanding booking and pre-payment and mistaking my date of departure made my stay unnecessarily stressful almost to the point of regretting my trip. Travel is an adventure, isn't it?

Nice room, good swimming pool, good breakfast, receptionists always nice and available, location is good near restaurant and the sea

Гостиница находится практически в самом центре. Когда есть свет, находится в ней сплошное удовольствие. В эти редкие минуты работают интернет, кондиционер, водоснабжение. А вот доброжелательность, настоящее гостеприимство и забота хозяев не зависят от капризов электричества. К владельцу можно обратиться по любому, даже самому, казалось бы, нерешаемому вопросу. В целом всё замечательно: и постель, и завтраки, и окружение. Для Сан-Томе это хороший вариант.

Hotel Praia was a great experience , the bungalow we stayed in was clean and well presented. We stayed there for 3 days but then needed to express it and I That was not a problem it was done quickly a with no bother I also really liked that I could get my washing done too which was not expensive and came back clean and folded . The staff where great in the morning when going for breakfast they would ask if we wanted eggs omelette and how we liked it the buffet was fresh and there was plenty of choice from fresh fruit to amazing pastries!!!! . The food for dinner or lunch was great and tasty drinks were good too . You could order at the pool side and they would bring everything to you . We got to meet the owner and he was very welcoming g and spent time with us having a drink . We mentioned a few things that we thought he could add to the service and he took that all in and was thankful for our opinion Would I go back to Hotel Praia YES !!!!! I would recommend this to anyone going to São Tomé and Príncipe you will Not be disappointed . See you next year Hotel Praia Deborah ,Hailton

Lugar bonito y con buenas vistas. Personal amable, con su ritmo ”leve leve”, nos pusieron en una habitación con vistas al mar a pesar de haber reservado una con vistas al jardín. Comida muy rica y a precio estándar de Sao Tomé. El único problema fue no tener wifi en la habitación, ya que mi pareja necesitaba internet para trabajar. Cobran tasa turística, lo cual no estaba especificado en la web.
