We had a nice stay in two neighbouring apartments on the ground floor near the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. To the city centre it was only a 6 minute walk. Breakfast was sufficient and the cocktail in the evening tasted good. We would book it again. It was calm and the view was amazing:)

Great hotel, with unbeatable view of Ella rock on the balcony. However the room did not have universal plug sockets, the hotel provided a hairdryer but did not fit the plug socket. It is also very difficult to get to with suitcases. Fine if you’re backpacking, but carrying suitcases up the massive hill is very difficult. Perhaps the hotel should look into purchasing their own tuktuk to ferry customers up and down the hill. Not everyone is a backpacker!

On arrival to the hotel the staff were great and welcoming. The room was clean and very spacious. The walls could do with a fresh paint and the curtains need to be washed but otherwise it was a great room. The location is good just a short walk from Main Street. The breakfast was amazing. Хочется поделиться не просто отзывом, а искренней благодарностью за несколько дней абсолютного покоя и удовольствия. Это был не стандартный отдых, а настоящее перезаряжение. Это вилла в прекраснейшем месте , посреди зеленых холмов , чайных плантаций ! Номера просторные в отеле их только 2 , они с балконами и панорамным видом . Все чистое и опрятное . Мы путешествовали вчетвером и получалось , что дом только наш ! Это было восхитительно! Нам готовили завтрак ко времени , за 2 дня он был разнообразным. Большие порции , все очень вкусно фрукты , роти, бургеры , несколько вариантов яиц, блинчики и напитки на выбор . Рядом есть живописнейший Ж/Д мост , ресторан с местной кухней . До центра города 10 минут на тук туке по серпантину . Отдельная благодарность владельцу отеля и управляющему , всегда были готовы помочь/ рассказать и оказать помощь! С удовольствием еще вернемся !

Отель подойдёт тем, кто планирует целыми дня отсутствовать, посещая достопримечательности Эллы и возвращаясь сразу ложиться спать. Я брал обычный номер (кровать, небольшой «стол», стул, тумбочка, душ/туалет. Для меня комната очень маленькая и в кровать я не вмещался (рост 190см). Но мне очень понравилось гостеприимство хозяина отеля и его друга, они очень дружелюбные и старались создать максимальный комфорт! Есть просторная веранда на первом этаже, где можно скоротать вечер или поработать в ноутбуке. Завтраки вкусные и сбалансированные, что мне тоже очень понравилось, также несколько раз ужинал здесь же - всё понравилось, вкусно!

Our stay here was absolutely remarkable, and we highly recommend this place to everyone. The staff are some of the kindest, most generous, and genuinely involved people we have ever encountered — their warmth truly made our stay unforgettable. The surroundings are peaceful, and it’s magical to watch animals right from the pool. The food is extraordinary — both breakfast and dinner were among the most delicious meals we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views over the fields, where we could see peacocks, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Another highlight is that the hotel provides bicycles for free, making it easy and fun to explore the nearby area. The pool is large and perfect for relaxing, rounding out a truly special experience. We will definitely be coming back and can’t recommend this place enough.

Dowa Elegance Resort is a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. A great place to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka with warm hospitality.

Un séjour agréable avec une belle terrasse, mais plusieurs points à améliorer Nous avons séjourné au Mount Crest à Ella. La chambre était fonctionnelle, propre, avec des lits confortables, ce qui est très appréciable. En revanche, l’espace était assez restreint, et il n’y avait pas vraiment de place pour poser nos affaires, ce qui rendait l’organisation un peu compliquée. La salle de bain était propre mais l’eau de la douche arrivait en simple filet, ce qui n’est pas idéal. À l’extérieur, en revanche, c’était un vrai plaisir : une belle terrasse, du soleil, un hamac parfait pour se détendre et profiter du calme de la nature autour. La propriétaire et sa fille sont adorables, très présentes, chaleureuses et serviables. Leur gentillesse a vraiment marqué notre séjour. Côté rapport qualité-prix, c’est excellent pour ce que c’est : simple, propre, bien situé et abordable. Quelques points négatifs tout de même : – L’odeur de cigarette provenant des gens qui fument dans les couloirs peut entrer dans la chambre selon le vent. – L’insonorisation est très faible : on entend clairement les gens parler et rentrer la nuit dans les couloirs, ce qui peut perturber le sommeil. – L’endroit n’est pas forcément très accessible si vous recherchez beaucoup de confort ou d’espace. Dans l’ensemble, un séjour correct, avec un accueil exceptionnel, une terrasse agréable, un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais certaines améliorations permettraient de rendre l’expérience plus confortable.

Am Anfang wurde unsere Hotelbestätigung nicht gefunden. Nach wenigen Minuten bekamen wir doch unsere Zimmer. Der Potie war sehr nett .

Amazing! What an amazing find! Food was out of this world. Pool was great and we just loved the sustainability of the place. Growing all the fruit and veg amazing!
