I was afraid that it would be cold, since it was -10 in the night, but there a lot of different heaters, so it was even hot at some point. Location is just perfect, so close to the main attractions and the bus stops, restaurants.
Breakfast was very simple and just carbs, not my kind of breakfast. Anyway the place was worth it.

It was the most satisfying place I stayed in Korea.
There was a beautiful lake view and a really delicious restaurant, so there was nothing lacking.
The staffs were very kind and friendly too.
I will definitely stop by again when I go to Korea.

-Really confortable beds and nice room.
-We were on the 15th floor and had an amazing ocean view

Away from the main city attractions but near the coast. They offered 2 bottles of beer or coffee as welcome drink which was nice. Room is big and spacious.

1. 위치
시외버스터미널 정류장에서 걸어서 5분이면 도착합니다. 조용한 주택가 사이에 있어요. 황리단길 걸어서 10분 이내면 도착하고 웬만한 곳은 시외버스터미널에서 버스로 갈 수 있습니다. 물론 택시 타도 기본요금 이상은 잘 안나오더라구요! 황리단길 근처지만 조용해서 너무 좋았습니다!
2. 시설
사진보다 더 좋아요! 깔끔하고 이름에 맞게 마당이 예쁘게 꾸며져 있어요. 밤에 의자에 앉아서 일행과 얘기 나누기에 너무 좋았습니다. 화장실과 침구 다과를 먹을 수 있는 장소 모두 깔끔했습니다! 수건도 2명 2박에 6개 제공해주셔서 넉넉했습니다.
3. 서비스
체크인시간보다 빨리 도착해서 짐 맡기려고 문의 했었는데 친절하게 받아주셨고 짐 보관도 가능했습니다! 리셉션에 있는 커피머신으로 커피도 내려마실 수 있었고 정수기도 있었어요. 방에 물도 있긴 했는데 부족해서 더 주실 수 있냐고 여쭤보니 더 주시더라구요. 그리구 저녁에 불멍과 함께 과일과 와인 한잔씩 제공해주셨어요. 사장님이 퇴근하시기 전에 불이 잘 꺼질 수 있도록 봐주시는 것도 좋았습니다. 아침에는 샌드위치와 커피, 주스를 가져다 주셨어요. 든든하게 여행 시작할 수 있었습니다.
남자사장님 여자사장님 두분 다 너무 친절하셨습니다. 다음에 경주여행 올 때 또 오고 싶어요!

Located in the heart of Hwangnidan-gil, the property is just a 1-minute walk to the main street and 3 minutes to Daereungwon and Cheonmachong.
The first floor offers a spacious layout suitable for families or groups of friends, accommodating up to 6 guests, and includes a private courtyard.
The second floor is ideal for a family (up to 4 guests) or a couple. You can enjoy panoramic views of Cheonmachong and Daereungwon, and the private balcony provides a perfect spot to enjoy tea or light meals at an outdoor table.

Familiy friendly hotel! Love the kids play area with games and reading corner. Breakfast was simple and conducive. So near to the bus terminal and walking distance to hwangnidam street. The staff were helpful and warm. I stored my luggage and forgot the password, they helped us with it so we can make it on time to catch the airport bus. Comfortable bed and bathtub was perfect for 3 kids!

First time in South Korea and first time in Gyeongju and wanted to stay more central. This was, quite literally in the center of things. I was easy access to the main commerical street and also walkable distance from most of the major venues in-town like the tombs, other tombs, musuems, parks etc.
We loved the host and was very attentive to our every need. The hanok place was on a quiet street so for those that are concerned the centrality would be noisy, it really wasn't. Do bring some eye masks if you're sensitive to light at night -- street lighting filters through.

SstanloonaAn amazing once-in-a-lifetime hanok experience!! The place was absolutely beautiful, and our host was the kindest person ever. Their service was amazing, even providing us with a bottle of wine, and free breakfast even though it originally didn’t come with our booking. We visited Gyeongju for 3 nights during the windy winter of February, so some of the pros & cons may not be applicable for other seasons:
Pros:
- Amazing location: right in the heart of Gyeongju’s trendy hanok district, it is a few minutes walk from Hwangnidan-Gil street, Cheonmachong etc. Despite this district being absolutely PACKED in the weekend, our hanok was tucked in a more cozy, quiet corner, above a restaurant. It was then really quiet in our hanok, and we surprisingly didn’t have any problem of smells from the restaurant downstairs coming up into our rooms.
- Clean aesthetic that perfectly balances the vibes of a traditional hanok, and a modern hotel. Suitable for those travelling with older families, for example, who may not be able to sleep comfortably on hard floors. The interior designer for this hanok deserves a raise
- Floor heating was done well, and we didn’t feel cold at all despite the winds at night during our winter stay
- gigantic TV
- host was very kind and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp!
- appreciated that the toilet and shower were very clean and modern as well!
Cons:
- there weren’t any wardrobes, and not many hangers were provided to hang your clothes. It’s only a minor issue, since we had more coats for our winter wear. However, since most people are booking this hanok for short stays, it shouldnt be a big issue either
- as we came here via car at night, the parking lot assigned to us was a ~2min walk away from the actual hanok, so it was a bit confusing to locate the parking lot and hanok in the dark at first.
- at night, the winds in the winter get quite strong, and so like any wooden house - there will naturally be quite a bit of sound like the wooden door shaking, sound of wind etc. Coming from the city, we were a bit scared and thought there were intruders at first LOL. This isn’t a big problem (especially during less windy seasons), but I think it’s just worth keeping in mind, especially if you are very sensitive to sounds when sleeping.
If these cons aren’t applicable or big issues for you, then yes I would more than recommend this hanok stay!!! It’s a rare experience, and hence worth the money imho!

JJP_in_SeoulReally convenient to be near lots of restaurants, there is a really good bakery cafe in the same building & coupons for the bar across the road.
Breakfast included in the stay is basic with eggs, toast and fried rice. There is juice but no coffee.
Rooms are huge as is the bath. Only minor thing was the light switches are meant to be remote controlled but that didn’t work so you have to manually go to the switches on the wall near the door.
Would stay again.

AAnonyymi käyttäjäIts a pity that the upper floor rooms got occupied so we were assigned to lower floor and the room was facing n pretty close to a construction next to the hotel and so we were worrying abt the dust and noise and a bit disappointed with the ‘seaview’ outside the terrace… luckily the front desk lady offered us another room on the same floor facing the carpark instead so the sea is really just one car away and it feels so much better :] she even offer us to check the rooftop family that comes with jacuzzi but we didnt bring out swimsuits so its out of our consideration.
The room is huge and the view is superb, except 1. it d be better if theres a door/curtain for the toilet/bathroom area for privacy and also noise isolation; 2. The fridge and rubbish bin are a bit too small for a family-sized guests; 3. Lacking racks/hooks to hang clothes and towels when u shower, a bit inconvenient…
However everything else is awesome, they hv clothing disinfectant machine provided in the room, a giant size tv which is good for family, amenity kits come with most of the things u need including facial cleanser/toner/moisturiser. Theres a coffee machine and ice making machine at the lobby so u can het ur everyday coffee free. Also the public terrace on 10/f is super nice n chill with the sea view, its both nice both day n night, highly recommend!
There are tons of restaurants mostly grilled meat/seafood dishes in the neighbourhood as its right next to the famous beach where ppl comes here for the yeonglidae pavillion, which looks nice at night! Space walk is also nearby. The locals all do their morning exercise walk by strolling along the seashore bare feet! Theres a shoe rack storage and feet washing facilities provided so u can come enjoy bare-foot walking in empty hands and leave clean and dry!
Its a nice stay and i would recommend to others!

Like I've mentioned before, this hotel does not have an elevator, so there's a lot of walking the stairs. They have a dumbwaiter to take your bags to the designated floor. The staff were friendly and cheerful. I didn't use the fridge or the hair dryer or the toiletries. However, I don't like to carry shampoo, shower gel, and conditioners, which they had provided, and the best thing was the bathroom slippers. I am looking forward to buying one and taking it home.

As you can see, the space is wide enough to open luggages, and to walk around inside the room. We loved the big screen of the TV in front of the bed, and the air freshening machine in the room was a definitely a bonus👍🏼
The washroom is definitely worth mentioning. We were so surprised by the size of the washroom. The bathing area was so spacious that you can walk around and enjoy your time without any burden. Although the washroom is not dry-wet seperated (dry-wet seperation is not common in South Korea), the distance between the toilet and showering area practically is a dry-wet seperation🙌🏽
Simple breakfast is provided and the location is a 12- minute walk to the crowded streets, where you can find restaurants and snacks, and the scenic views which can only be found in Gyeongju.
Recommended to families, couples and friends👍🏼

VVieraskäyttäjäBeautiful chalet-style place for staying! The bed is very comfortable. The room is clean and organised. A few chairs and a table to do work or eat. Very spacious area for watching tv. There’s a bbq pit outside each unit. The host brought fresh towels for my second night, thank you! I love the beautiful decoration and swimming pool downstairs, even though it’s cold at night. It has a charming atmosphere, with an outdoor screen, swings and nice music. Sound insulation is ok, although you can hear the frogs croak outside from the bathroom.
The place is about 20 mins’ walk from the bus stop with restaurants, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Theres a emart24 about 10 minutes away. There’s a restaurant next door that sells fried chicken till 11pm. It’s a must-try! Host and his wife are extremely helpful people. Thank you for your warm hospitality!
Highly recommended for people who want privacy and lots of space to hang out.
