Our room was spotless , a comfy bed and a good shower , the pool+ hot room area were really good, but for reference there are 3 (members only) aqua aerobics classes a week which use the whole pool , and whose participants’warm up’ prior to the class -so it’s very busy to the class , there are a great selection of (pre bootable )classes , treatments and a well equipped  gym (all obviously open to  members ) , the meal options are delicious, and the staff are charming

Nice room, very clean and great location. Just beware when booking there are pubs and bars opposite so not quiet but this did not affect us.

Kaiken kaikkiaan se on melko hyvä, hinta on halpa, ja ovella on bussikuljetus lentokentälle. Kahden hengen huoneessa on kaksi sänkyä, yksi iso ja yksi pieni, mikä sopii itse asiassa paremmin perhematkalle. 24h lämmin vesi ja lämmitys sekä hyvät saniteettiolosuhteet.

Great hotel with great location for getting to Stansted airport. The bar and restaurant were good and check out was easy.

Checking in was easy and the man was so nice. Room was ideal, requested a runway view and that definitely ticked that box. Breakfast had plenty of options, cold salad, ham and cheese, hot scrambled egg, bacon, sausages (standard and vegetarian), hash browns, beans, cereals, seeds, yogurt, a couple Danishes and then there was 'make your own' waffles (just like in the States)

The hotel is in a great location on the cliffs above the sea front. Everything was very clean and staff friendly and polite. We particularly liked the outside terrace area at the front of the hotel. We arrived by train and it is about a 15 minute walk from the station. Didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on food. Would certainly stay here again if we are ever in Southend on Sea.

Very quiet area you could swarm an apocalypse had happened If you require medication put in the fridge ask the female receptionist the male is nasty and just outright refused Breakfast is good and restaurant attached to hotel is good Also Manager of restaurant is great Not far from station 10 minute walk with tunnel under road

I booked a last minute night away with the children: afternoon tea followed by an overnight. The afternoon tea was delicious and I was really well catered for as a vegan diner. The Grand Hall was a beautiful setting for afternoon tea. The children also loved their food - the sandwiches were much simpler for the children and they got seconds based on how delicious they were. Our room was large and had a sofa bed and a cot bed. We enjoyed playing in the grounds including the play area, outdoor chess, boules, the scavenger hunt and the fitness trail. My son also loved playing football in the garden - he was excited that there were goals set up. We had dinner in The Fox Bar and had drinks and played cards in the Grand Hall afterwards. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. We were really excited to find newts in the pond. They would love to stay again. I would love to come for an overnight with my partner to experience it differently without the children.

Erinomainen säännöllinen kuljetuspalvelu lentokentältä suoraan Holiday Innin ja muiden hotellien ovelle hintaan 4 puntaa suuntaansa. Pystyimme kirjautumaan sisään aikaisin ilmaiseksi ja jättämään matkatavarat ennen matkaa Cambridgeen tapaamaan poikaamme. Ystävällinen ja avulias vastaanottohenkilökunta. Ihana aamiaistarjoilu saatavilla mukaan otettavaksi klo 4 alkaen ja laajempi aamiainen klo 6 alkaen. Ehdottomasti loistava hinta-laatusuhde ja varaaminen helppoa Trip.comin kautta.

Staff were great all very friendly Room was spacious wardrobe big enough for a 4 yr old to sleep in ( excuse my humour ) and very clean Evening meal portions great food very tasty & staff looked after granddaughter well with keeping her occupied . Breakfast was a little of a let down as under the warmer food was still cold and bacon very dry … cheese was dried up with the cold meats only I flavour yoghurt I wish I had ordered off the fresh cooked menu of eggs selection ( but I never left hungry ) Despite second paragraph I would defo return
