It is unattended, but a quick call and you are given the code to enter both the main entrance and the room. Convenient when expected, but did throw me off a little. :)
I'd definitely stay again.

We rented the apartment and one single room. The staff are very friendly. Both place has harbour view. The apartment is not very close to the hotel and there is a 10 minutes walk. But the apartment is very lovely. The only thing is that there are no lifts In either place. Also, the window for the hotel room are very old and has the 2 wood boards instead of the curtains. It is very original, but not really sound proof.

TThe Heidi Hammonda tired hotel needing some redecorating and modernisation. Room was next to reception and the 'bar/staff' room. we were woken at 6.30 every morning by staff arriving for duty. Breakfast was sat under heated laps or freshly out of a tin of fruit. Toast was the thinnest cheapest brown bread, and the coffee was average. The cooked breakfast was of poor quality ingredients. The waiting staff were very attentive. Sadly as soon as a fellow guest left their breakfast table, out came the spray disinfectant to clean the table down. This smell wafted all over the basement, windowless breakfast room and was very off putting.

VVieraskäyttäjäVery helpful staff. Neat & clean, updated rooms. We had a family room with ample space to move around (1 Queen sized & 2 single beds). It’s a bit remote so had to have dinner in their restaurant. The menu was excellent & there was also an option to order Pizzas for takeaway to eat in the room which we did on our last day. On clear days we had a good walk around the golf course after dinner which was really enjoyable. Gym is small but the pool & steam room were relatively bigger and helped entertain the kids on a rainy day. Overall we would recommend this for 2-3 days short stays.

VVieraskäyttäjäOn checking in we were shown to our room. The room was ample in size. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good nights sleep. The en-suite had been refurbished with a shower. A problem with water pressure was promptly attended to. As we were eating as a group of fourteen, we had pre ordered, and our meals were served speedily all together. Our choices of food were hot and well presented. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu again served without delay. The staff were attentive nothing being too much trouble making for a relaxing stay.

VVieraskäyttäjäThis was my fourth return visit to this hotel which is always clean and supported by friendly staff. The accommodation block is set across the car park from the restaurant/pub which means you are not disturbed by noise in the evenings. You can access the hotel without going through the one way system in Aberystwyth if you wish but the centre is still within very easy walking distance. Will be coming again no doubt.

Coming from the US, I loved the fact that my room had its own private bathroom. The food at the restaurant was also good, even my daughter enjoyed it. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. I stayed in room 1.

However, points of note are:
(1) Friendly staff
(2) In need of a good update - rooms OK but clearly in need of TLC
(3) Room had a few places of thick dust and cobwebs
(4) Hotel in the main had ”stuff” in the corridors and things piled-up in certain rooms which were visible
