Kun pyydettiin hiljaista huonetta, koska olimme 11 kuukautta vanha kanssamme, meitä asetettiin suoraan yläpuolelle toimintohuone häämatkalle ja kun testattiin äänen järjestelmää, lattia alla on parannettu ja ääni oli hullu.
Siirrettiin huoneita alkuperäisestä Manor Housesta pyydämme ja mahdollisimman kauas huoneessa kaikki tilaukset tarjotaan pienempi kuin alkuperäinen huone, kolmas kerros ja ei hissi vauvaa lukossa ja paljon matkatavaroita. Huone oli myös kestämätön lämmin ja hullu anturi/valo kylpyhuoneessa säilytti poikamme (ja he meitä) koko yön.

Thamesjoki ja St. Giles-in-Reading Church (kirkko) sijaitsevat 5 minuutin ajomatkan päässä majoituspaikasta. Tämä huoneisto sijaitsee 0,4 km:n päässä kohteesta Oracle ja 0,4 km:n päässä kohteesta Kennet & Avon Canal.

The lodge is a great location if you are going to the racecourse. We arrived at around 1:30 as the first race was at 2:30 and was told that if we wanted to check in early we would have to pay a fee of £20. When the races often start at around 2-2:30 this seemed unreasonable. I had to come out of he racecourse between races to check
In. I’ve stayed at the Lingfield racecourse hotel and they checked us in 12:30 as our room was ready. Went for breakfast at around 7:50 and there was no menus out, the staff seemed totally disorganised. There was no instructions on how to order food. The continental “help yourself” was ok but had very little fruit options. They did have alpro soya and oat milk as milk alternatives. The room was clean and tidy but very basic. It did have a free standing fan which was good in the warm weather. The bad was big and comfortable. The shower was nice and had shower gel. The customer service let it down a little.
The hotel give us more facilities ( Gym, swimming pool ) for our enjoy. My children & friend have very love the swimming pool , it is very cleanliness, the room is big and comfortable.
The customer service staff at front desk are very wiling to help customers. The thing that are a bit worse is that the swimming pool does not provide free towels for guests using and the coridor is a bit creepy. Hope will be imporve this request in the future and thank you.
Hotel bien ubicado a 10 minutos del centro de newbury. Limpio y ordenado. El cuarto era mas grande de lo que vimos en las fotos. Muy cómodo y funcional.
So a group of us stayed here on Saturday, whilst upon arrival the hotel and grounds looked stunning, we were greated on reception and told one of our rooms were ready. This was fine as we were early, it was a 5 minute walk to the toilet, and the guys ended up getting lost, the rooms are a 10/15 minute walk away from the main check in; and it’s like walking through a hospital corridor to get to them. The rooms are very basic still with draw string lights, the water station was around a 3/4 minute walk from our room and no bottled water was in the room. At 3.30am we were awoken by a member of staff knocking and posting a note through our door to say there was going to be a power outage from 9am onwards, we were not able to shower as the room was pitch black and no water was coming out the shower.
On a lighter note the breakfast was lovely!
Hotel really well situated for the motorway and for Newbury station.
The facilities are really good, and service received from the moment we arrived from the very friendly and helpful member of staff on reception.
Really lovely breakfast with a great choice of food. Will definitely be returning
Perfection location, a couple minutes walk into the town centre. Hotel is located on a well used road and windows are original to the building no sound proofing. Curtains could be thicker to block out street lights if staying in a room at the front of the hotel.
Called the hotel to confirm there were enough parking spaces before making room reservation. The telephone assistant was very helpful. Room was.spacious, clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay. Front desk was friendly and polite. Breakfast was good, but could be better if they provided fried eggs and baked mushrooms as options on top of scrambled eggs and steamed mushrooms.

EExplorerrrrThe location is good as there is direct bus to airport. The breakfast was pretty good, the staff is helpful. However there is no drinking water provided. There is M&S opposite the hotel.

VVieraskäyttäjäWell on arrival we was greeted y the staff on Reception with a smile, We was given our room keys to room 114.The rooms were clean and lovely and tidy plus couldn't ask for more. One thing we was sad about and that was the Restaurant,we had asked for a table for 2 and was asked if we had booked a table which we said no. Then to our shock we was told but we could order our food off the menu from the restaurant in the bar area. My wife sat down as she's disabled and I went to the bar to order some drinks. I asked for some menus and the young man behind the bar who was talking to his colleagues about his personal life said he will bring some to the table. 15 minutes later a young lady brought our drinks, and we asked her if she could bring us a menu which she did. I had asked ger to come back in 5 minutes so we could look at the menu, 20 minutes later no sign of the staff where I had to go to the bar and asked if I could order some food and the young man said someone will come over. The young lady came over and took the order.Then we was given cutlery which was stained with food and disgusting 15-20 minutes or so later the starters came Then the main courses. Now if I wanted to sit in the bar and pay over a £125:00 for a meal and get the service I would expect I would pay that money no matter what but I could have sat in the restaurant comfortably with my wife enjoying the evening in a lovely atmosphere but I would have rather gone across the road to the pub or a restaurant down the high street and got a much better service, rather then having some ***** leaning over the chair behind me facing our table where he was a foot away from myself as I'm eating.im not one that's rude but the hotel needs to know this

During our stay, our baby wasn’t feeling well, and the hotel team showed us so much care and support. They went out of their way to help us in every possible way, which meant a lot to our family.
We truly appreciate their warmth and hospitality. Thank you for making us feel so cared for. We will always remember your kindness!

Mattress and pillow were slightly uncomfortable.
Due to the hotel being a wedding venue, I was kept up at night due to the wedding music from below.
OOllieSFirst receptionist we dealt with was really nice but then she had to ask a colleague for help with our check in and she was extremely rude. Having booked an executive room, we were told we didnt get access to the executive lounge as hadn't booked direct. Load of rubbish. Went to our room, quick call to Hilton Customer Care and they confirmed we did have executive lounge access so went back to reception.
The hotel is really comfortable, big spacious rooms, nice beds, bathrooms with shower and bath. Water wasn't free even in executive rooms which was a bit of a shock (£2.50 a bottle).
Executive lounge was nice but service much cut back from last time I stayed at few years ago. Fridges empty most of the day, snacks not topped up. Dirty cups everywhere etc. Evening snacks was good but again, reduced compared to what they used to offer. Spirits and prosecco was a nice touch though.
Breakfast served in the restaurant for executive room guests. Really nice selection, mostly buffet but eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Nice coffee.
Staff on the whole are really friendly and welcoming (apart from the receptionist on day one). We had 3 nights here and enjoyed it.
There is a shuttle bus from terminal 5 to the hotel door which is £6.80 per person or you can take bus number 5 which stops on the road outside the hotel for £1.50. If staying more than one night, there is buses to Windsor, legoland, Slough and hounslow (for the tube to central london).

VVieraskäyttäjäWe normally stay at the Hilton but I checked other hotels and found the holiday inn on trip. I can honestly say that the Hilton hotel in reading is not a patch on the holiday inn. The holiday inn is cleaner, the rooms are better and the breakfast was great, with lots of choice. Not forgetting the staff, they were polite and very welcoming.
VVieraskäyttäjäThe hotel very close to slough market, also it is 5km from windsor market i went there on foot, if you enjoy natural views and rivers there are many places to enjoy, the rooms in the hotel are clean and they provide all that hotels should prived, but the should put good isolating window to keep the noise from the outside unheard, also they should lower the floor of the toilets to prevent the water pooring into the room at shower time. Despite the room of improvements i mentioned earlier i enjoyed my stay with them and i will visit them again.
