I stayed here for 2 nights while waiting for my next flight to go to another island. I'm glad I found the discounted rate via trip.com because I would have been upset at paying full price for this hotel. The pictures are out of date. The room was small but clean. The shower head was loose and wouldn't stay up properly. The rooftop was outdated. The pool was small and hadn't been cleaned in a while. Dirt and debris were visible in the pool. Breakfast was okay. A decent selection of food items. Staff wasn't super friendly. Decent stay for the discounted rate but not worth $100/night.

The people in the room upstairs were running around. The people in the next room were noisy. The room itself was great but noise insulation should be better. There were no elevators or ramps to get heavy bags up and down. Breakfast was great. All around the food was great. Local grilled fish for lunch was fantastic. Hotel staff were pretty good though sometimes did not give their full attention. The pool area was a feature. Very handy location.

Great location. Next door is a shopping center with supermarket, great gym (Andro is an eye candy) but my favorite spot was at Hair Addict Spa with the owner and her crew. She hooked me up with braids, micro shading brows and pedicure. This was a stopover to Fogo. Beach is close by and pool on 7th floor..great view. Staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast was nice as well. Approx. 15?min from airport.

Of the four hotels I stayed at during my time in Cape Verde, this is the closest to offering a 4-star experience, and providing everything advertised on this platform. The staff is courteous, friendly, and always on hand to offer a relaxing experience. Due to the convex shape of the structure, the rooms come in a variety of configurations, offering some variety even with repeat stays like mine. The breakfast buffet is pretty decent, with a good offering of options from cold to warm, sweet to savory. Every window offers a breathtaking view of the Atlantic and the rest of the island, and its well-maintained outdoor pool offers a welcome tease if you don't feel ready to brave the beach just yet. That said, there are a few limitations: while the varying layouts offer good variety for multiple stays, you may find yourself feeling shortchanged if you pay the same amount for a smaller room than the traveler a couple doors down. Also, the massage treatment I wanted wasn't available as the specialized therapist was only onsite certain days of the week. Luxury or not, Barcelo wasn't immune to the nationwide fly problem, meaning the luxury escape of a breakfast on their stunning restaurant terrace could easily get interrupted by the buzzing of insects trying to share your meal. The gym, though the best-equipped of the four hotels I stayed at in CV, is a bit under-equipped for a property with four-star aspirations. Also, it criminally underuses the property's prime location by shoving the gym into a small, windowless box. All in all, a relaxing stay. Would absolutely recommend and rebook.

El alojamiento en general está bastante bien, el personal muy amable y dispuestos a ayudarte siempre. El único inconveniente fue, que a nuestra salida del alojamiento, no había ninguna persona en recepción y la puerta estaba cerrada con llave. El transfer que pedimos tuvo que buscar en el exterior una llave escondida para abrirnos y que llegásemos al aeropuerto a tiempo.

The place was really nice and well located. However we had no électricity at night and we had our flight very early in the morning, which might have caused issues, including no check in, important fees from the companies, a long travel without phone battery...

Bon emplacement ville et le petit déjeuner impeccable. On nous a attribué une chambre au sous sol avec une chambre lits jumeaux or j avais précisé lit double. Après réclamation ils nous ont changé de chambre.

Suuri sijainti turvallisessa alueella. Ulkona istuinalue etupuolella oli lisäbonus. Pinnoin kuitenkin pankkikorttini sängyn alla, ja kun menin hakemaan sen, löysin kynsien leikkaukset sängyn alla. Siellä oli sekoitus pyyhkeitä - jonain päivänä ne otettiin ja meitä ei jätetty uusia. Menimme vastaanotto pyytää lisää, ja vastaanottomies löysi vain yhden iso ja yksi pieni, joka ei todella riitä kaksi ihmistä. Yhden yön, heräsin nähdä vettä tulee ilmakoneen. Minä mokasin sen (yksi iso pyyhe!) ja raportoi sitä seuraavana päivänä, mutta en usko, että mitään on tehty siitä. Arvioinnissaan, että puuta oli varustettu lattialla, joka oli yksikön alapuolella, tämä ongelma oli tapahtunut jo jonkin aikaa. Aamiainen ei ollut hyvin varastoitu - hedelmä oli aina hieman kuiva ja kerran, pyysin kaksi kertaa voita ja en saanut sitä. Suosittelen tätä paikkaa, koska sijainti oli hyvä ja siitä oli paljon hyviä asioita, mielestäni johtokunnan on vain tiukennettava asioita hieman.
