"The hotel owner and housekeeper were both incredibly welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Xiao Dongjiang Scenic Area, just a 10-minute walk away, and the surrounding environment is fantastic – you can get great photos just about anywhere. The hotel's decor is a very modern Wabi-sabi style, and the rooms are spacious. They even upgraded my room type, which made for a very comfortable stay. The only minor drawback is that my room was close to the elevator, so light sleepers might find the noise a bit disruptive. Overall, it's definitely a guesthouse worth returning to."

"The location is fantastic! Quiet, comfortable, and simply furnished. Breakfast was pork noodle soup, and they even provided lean meat and egg noodles and soy milk for the kids! I recommend choosing a room with a river view for a brighter atmosphere. The guesthouse doesn't offer lunch or dinner, but they mentioned the nearby trendy restaurants are popular, and they were indeed quite good – excellent value and delicious food! Beware of Hualan's firewood chicken – a rip-off for tourists!!"

"The hotel is right by Xiaodong River, very close to the riverbank, offering great views. There are charging stations nearby, and parking is also very convenient. Breakfast is served at the adjacent Bolman Hotel, and the variety is excellent."

"The air conditioning in the first room we were assigned wasn't working, so we were changed to another room. The second room had a corner light that wouldn't turn off, so I didn't sleep well all night. The TV remote was also malfunctioning. The cleanliness was so-so, but the staff were very friendly."

"We arrived at the guesthouse quite early, right at breakfast time. The housekeeper warmly invited us to join them for breakfast. We were just wondering where to find breakfast, especially since we had just moved from next door, and most guesthouses in this area don't offer it. I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially if you're traveling with kids or elderly family members. It's so inconvenient to have to go out and look for breakfast!"
