Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Wonderful 4 nights stay. I love the complimentary washing facilities with a helper that is so nice to assist at all time, shoes drying machine, free flow of water, ice creams, drinks, and the mini football game for the kids whenever they are waiting for adults. Breakfast is very good too. One of the best hotels I have stayed.

We started with a problem when entering the hotel room with a terrible smoking smell. The hotel officer act fast to change the room and place a humidifier in the room for my parent. As we will check out the hotel during the day of my mom birthday, the hotel surprises my mother with a birthday cake. The hotel also consider nearby to one of the national forest enter which about 10-15mins walk. At night time, one of the short street market nearby the hotel offer reasonable food and souvenirs (e.g., tea) price. The hotel breakfast also offer variety selection. Overall, we have a pleasant and satisfying staying in this hotel for 4days.

Pros: 1. Very conveniently placed for entrance to the national park via the East entrance  2. Ladies on the desk very amenable and sorted out our room issue (see cons) when we arrived  3. Appreciated the free drinks and snacks in the foyer 4. Free laundry service was genius- loved it. Cons: 1. The Mountain View room that I booked had a different out look to what is considered the Mountain View room by the hotel. Hence, on our arrival we were given a room where the view was just trees. On complaining we were given a room with a very distant Mountain View and more of a road view. While I understand the closeness to the park, please don’t mislead customers.  2. Breakfast food was cold. Particularly the “western” hot breakfast. Although the hotel suggests coming down later for breakfast is best they don’t always replenish their supplies in a timely manner, meaning you may not get what you want.  3. Not everything is replenished or well stocked in the rooms. We had to ask for more toilet roll as we weren’t given any. Also, the bathroom sink didn’t always drain the water.  4. Not sufficient sound proofing as I could hear next door 5. I’m not sure the swimming pool is really a swimming pool that people would want to use. We looked at it and thought we had better not…. The closeness of the hotel to the park meant it was a winner, however for the price per night I feel you were paying for the Hilton name and getting none of the good stuff. So much I feel could be improved upon.

Outstanding Experience at Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Hotel My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Hotel. The 24 hours complimentary drinks and free access to washing machines were thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Mr. Lin, who was exceptionally courteous and professional. He went out of his way to coordinate a fantastic three-day tour of Zhangjiajie’s must-see attractions with Mr. Xu Dao, ensuring we experienced everything this breathtaking destination had to offer. This hotel is undoubtedly one of the best in the city, and it completely transformed my perception of the Hampton brand—so much so that I’ve already booked my next stay at a Hampton hotel in Guangzhou! The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. From the warm welcome to the comfortable beds, high-quality food, impeccable service, and outstanding facilities, every detail exceeded our expectations. Zhangjiajie itself was mesmerizing, and this hotel truly elevated our trip with its hospitality and attention to detail. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future! 2 things could take this hotel to be “a complete experience” in my opinion: a safety box in the room and an extra key to operate the AC all the time in the room specifically during hot summer. I can say that I had one of the best experiences in my life in this wonderful hotel and among these wonderful people.

We stayed for 2 nites, we enjoyed the breakfast except for the juices that are too sweet, maybe can add lemon water on the list of fruit juices, it’s better than those artificial juices being served. Location is 500 meters walk to the East Gate of the National Park. Free laundry machine and dryer to use for hotel Guest. The problem we have during our stay is the bed sheets on one of our beds, smells like it has not been change, we reported it to the front desk the next day and they have change it change when we got back to our room. We have check in late and we don’t want to bother the housekeeping for a change of bed sheets, the other problem is the sink, it’s clogged on the second day, first night is slow draining. Housekeeping should also check the supply of the shampoo, conditioner etc on the bathroom. Our room run out of conditioner on the second night. Free flow of water , soft drinks and some other drinks near the reception area. Front desk are helpful.

An absolutely wonderful stay at Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie! The hotel is fairly new, modern and clean, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was a highlight with many varied choices. This hotel boasts a prime location that makes exploring the Wulingyuan area effortless. It is just a short didi car ride away from East Entrance Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Baofeng Lake. It is also within walking distance to the Charming Xiangxi Show. A special shout-out to the amazing lady butler, peng peng 朋朋, who truly made our trip extra special! Her thoughtful recommendations and itinerary planning helped us make the most of our time at Zhangjiajie. Her advice on the best local spots to eat was also spot on. We are truly impressed by this hotel's exceptional flexibility and commitment to guest satisfaction. When our travel plans unexpectedly changed in the middle of our stay, they provided us with a free cancellation for the rest of the booked days. This level of customer care is deeply appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional stay. Looking forward to coming back!
